    Has it been canceled? I been hearing all types of rumors.

      I have yet to hear a single rumor about this, since when are they making this?

          it was leaked that it was being made, then it was cancelled, then it was romour'd once agian that it was close to being finished and awaiting release. and then cancelled again... now googleing shenmue 3 comes up with 50% sites saying yes and 50% sites saying no...

          atleast thats what i gatherd after 5 minutes of searching...

                  Woah... a shenmue topic on FFR... Anyways, it's not being made Sega told this to a TV that was campaigning to build up hype from as many gamers as possible telling sega they wanted a sequal. the result was Sega sending the program a copy/paste message saying there were no plans for a sequal at that time. Also Yu Suzuki the director and the producer has very little to do with Sega now, i heard he quit.

                  EDIT: also the online game planned for a region of china only is in limbo or has been cancled. shame about Shenmue really. I hope they at least finnish the storyline in some way or another and get Ryo out of that damn cave.
