Contra III is hard like HELL

I just beat Contra III on Normal. If any of you are looking for a real challenge, try beating it without using any quick saves (assuming you're using an emulator like myself). HARD GAME. That's all there is to it. Very fun though, and satisfying when you beat it.

I spent hours on that game when it first came out. I hated the fucking motorcycle stage, especially on hard difficulty.

Shattered Soldier is pretty hard.. I'd probably have to say harder than alien wars.. good if you rent it.. don't buy it though.. I bought it then took it back the next day..

Me and my best friend used to go beat Alien Wars on hard without ever having to use a continue. This was on the actual SNES system, too, so no save states.

Tsk, tsk, Laharl. That should be "My best friend and I". :P

And yeah, Contra III isn't THAT hard. I'd probably have to use a continue if I tried it on my SNES again, but I could beat it no problem.

I know. I just didn't feel like doing it correctly.

I used to have so much fun on that game with my friends. I think without game genie we were able to get to the very last boss eventually but were not able to beat it.

On a random sidenote, Metal Slug games are infinately better (and way more difficult) than any Contra game.
