    Onegaishimasu!!

    Hey I was wondering if anyone plays Go on here.I would seriously like to play some of you guys some time.If you dont play u should check it out.

              "Go" is not a video game, if what you mean is what I think it is. Never heard of it being called Onegaishimasu or whatever.

              Yes, I play Go occasionally if what you mean is the board game.

                      Onegaishimasu reffers to what u say in the begging of the game.The game itself is called GO if you are looking for a good site got www.gobase.org

                          I doubt most people here play Go, considering it's just about the hardest board game in the world.

                              After you play it a few times, it's really not that difficult.
                              Came back on the 3/25/17 after 8 years of being AFK.

                                  Isn't Onegaishimasu just a really polite way to say "please"? So I guess you need the context of actually being in front of a Go table for it to mean "will you play with me?"

                                          More or less, this is correct.

                                          It's just sportsmanship. It's the equivalence of shaking hands before and after a match.

                                          Americans really shouldn't do it unless they're playing in Japan though, else you just look pretentious.
