ya I have it. From what I hear from good cs players, 1.6 takes more skill. Its a lot easier to get head shots on source. Thats just what I hear from good players.

maybe I got it backwards lol. Im pretty sure I got it right though...I know they are having the best source team play the best 1.6 team in cpl. I wonder who wins :]

There is CS pro mod which is in its beta which is supposed to bridge the gap between source and 1.6

******s that hack in games is just a fact of life, In every online game there will be atleast one person who hacks :S. i guess i have just gotten used to dealing with them

Thats why i never give my account info to my friends because i don't trust them not to hack on it . I haven't been playing cs much here lately. I like the War3 mod, KZ mod, Bf2 Mod, and Bunnyhop mod

There are 2 things that make me hate CounterStrike.

1) No in-round respawns. I play games to play them, not to wait 10 minutes while the last person on my team camps out in an obscure place and refuses to do anything until somebody comes to kill him. In every game with round-based gameplay this happens, which pisses me off.
2) The entire weapon system is way off. Way off from being real, and way off from being what I'd expect. Initial shots are way too damn accurate, every shot after that is way too damn inaccurate. Combine the messed up system with the fact that the crosshair deceivingly doesn't actually show you where you're going to shoot, and it's extremely hard/annoying to even learn how to properly play the game.

I still have no idea how CS got so damn popular. It's so ****ing annoying. If a brand new game came out with the same whacked out gun control that CS has, people would bash it to high heaven for being so retarded. =\

Love CSS but hate the ******s that make it their life. I mean the ******s who can jump around a corner and hs you while they are still flying through the air. Yeah, those ******s.

PS - Are there any good mods out for CSS other than the Insurgency Mod?

Well there are Deathmatch mod where you can respawn right after you die. And the shot thing, well it cant be any worse than playing source :S
