should I sell my PS3?

well I've been happy with my wii and ps3 but I've preordered halo 3 and a few other games.I don't have a 360, I've been looking into getting one for awhile now but now I find my self with little money and I need about 700$ for everything all together so I have two choices 1: keep my wii and ps3 get halo on tues. and wait awhile to buy a 360. 2: sell my ps3 both of my games and both controllers and buy the 360 now and have money left over. I need suggestions, but not from xbox junkies who think PS3's suck microsoft rocks etc. I need to figure out what I'm doing by tomorrow...

If you do wanna be dead serious, the PS3 DOES suck. There are hardly any good games out for it now, and probably won't be forever. I'm neither a microsoft/nintendo junkie. I enjoy to play a little bit of everything. The only reason the PS3 was worth buying was for the cheap blue-ray. I'd sell it and get halo all the way. Also, the 360 is having even more great games coming out rather soon. IE GH III/Rock Band

Why did you buy a game for a console that you don't own?

Don't sell either console. Whenever I sell a system, I end up regretting it and being tempted to buy it again. Play the 360 games on someone elses system. Perhaps trade one of your systems for someone elses for awhile.

hey i dont like the ps3 but the graphics are amazing ps3 will pull through... thhey were thinking about second life for ps3 but dude dont sell, because if the ps3 does pull through you would need to buy another one

Ask yourself three questions:

How many games coming out for the PS3 are you interested in?

How many games coming out for the 360 are you interested in?

Are you more interested in Halo 3 than the two games you already have for PS3?

Last I heard, the PS3 and Xbox 360 have graphics that look equally good. Oh wait, that's an opinion. And graphics don't make the game.

i agree with you, i usually trade my consoles with a friend when i wanna play a game on a console i don't have it's a good plan and you don't have to buy your ps3 again when the best games come out

Figured I'd give my opinion. I was lucky enought to get 2 PS3 (60g) a few days prior to Xmas and below retail off ebay. I really like my PS3 but do feel left out of games like Halo, a game that was suppost to be on Playstation 2 (http://ps2.ign.com/objects/014/014552.html) but for some reason was never made and moved to Xbox. The PS3 very well might have some interesting features if developers take advantage. I was suprised to see God Of War 2 had a code to play in HD. Who is to say that PS3 games to come might not have Blu-ray video cut scenes. I'm hoping that some one finds a way to use the 60GB (or 80GB)drive as a DVR while playing or for TV. Can't see why it needs so much space other wise.

I'd keep the PS3 (or if you had a 60 pick up a 20 instead) and try to get a used xbox and see if its really worth investing in a 3rd high priced machine.

I'd lend a friend my ps3/wii for his 360 but I only have 2 (close)friends with a 360 (whom I'd trust with my ps3) one of them is getting halo (so he won't do won't gimme his 360 for awhile)and one has to renew his subscription for xbox live(making halo not as fun)

Why did you go and pre-order that piece of crap Halo3 anyways? By the time all the fanboys have pre-ordered it and it has sold out for a while you'll have time to find a job and buy a 360 then go buy a copy of Halo3 which EVERY store selling it will have more than enough copies to offer. What a waste of time pre-ordering that crap.

are they going to have that matchmaking crap for halo 3 as they did in the 2nd. that is one of the dumbest things halo couldve done. have servers instead have people wait forever just to play. there are many sucky aspects in halo but i still it. cant wait for halo 3!

The PS3 doesn't suck, you're a moron, yes at the moment there are a hardly good games for it, but it has many upcoming games, you're simply ignorant to knock it down. Games in the future include: MGS4, FFXIII, Little Big Planet, just to name a few, and if you deny any those games of their greatness, you're clearly blinded and know nothing about the subject.

That's the question I was wondering, why do you pre-order a game that you don't own a console for. . . Isn't Halo 3 coming for PC at some point anyway? Why not wait. . .

The PS3 and Xbox 360's graphics are different, although both are rather good, the PS3's are better once you dive in details etc. Graphics don't make the game but then again, it does contribute to the game and overall view of it.

You shouldn't sell your PS3 if it's the 60GB model, which has wireless internet. . . If it's the 20GB, it kind of sucks until better games get out, and if you don't have a wired connection for it. . .

dont sell it. many many good games are to come. some worth mentioning:
1: MGS4 (I think this is also on 360 though)
2: Call of duty 4 ( i also think this is on 360, but why buy another system when you can have the game on something you already own)
3: littlebigplanet ( i just think this looks awesme. especially the level creator)
4: Skate (also on 360 i think)
5: Fracture (ps3 exclusive i think. this game will be worth the ps3 when it comes out i'm pretty sure)
6: UNREAL TOURNAMENT (whatever the hell the number is) 2007!!!
for now that's all i can think of off the top of my head.

thats true,for me I want a god story line.All good games should have a story line thta makes sense!
