MLG 08 is going to be an interesting event. With Halo 3 there isn't the glitches like in Halo 2 such as the double shots, grenade reloads, and the "BXR's". Its going to require much more team work and out smarting your opponents rather than relying on button combonations. The first event is going to be a suprise to everyone becuase the good teams will not let out their secrets until the event which will proove to be entertaining to see what everyone has in store.

ya your right. Hes a noob at halo. Wonder why he is 1 of about 40 people in the world who have a contract with MLG. I wish I sucked that bad lol!

edit: to the guy about button glitches. My friend figured out bxb today ;P Im sure dub shot and a bxr will be figured out eventually ;]

Yeah, deleted all spawn points except 1 and set respawn to 3 seconds.

You're right. Because people in the MLG are great at fighting off Vehicles and sneaking up on people.

You live in Virginia too, Telvanni? Oh wow...that's just great. If you really think his arrogance is a problem, I'm sure you could play him or something..if he'd allow it, that is. Hahaha.. I ran things in this state before Eli got famous. Then he eclipsed me. =)

I don't give many people respect. Hell, Talent lives in Virginia and I still think he's horrible, but Eli earned my respect the first time I played with him. His arrogance is as well founded as my own.

I didn't mean to sound arrogant when I said you were uninformed. I just meant that you were very uninformed by what makes a player good at Halo. "Matchmaking" stats don't mean anything. I have like 610 custom games played. I stopped playing matchmaking when I maxed out my level, now all I do is play in the online ladder which is done through custom games.

My team is undefeated in playing custom games against other tournament players. I'd ellaborate, but I figure you're probably not that interested anyways.

On the contrary. I like being informed rather than right. Your team is undefeated, but there's more teams that are undefeated in the Fall Season. Won't accept the invite or just haven't played them yet?

As a small sidenote: Major isn't the final rank. General Grade 5 is. To get there, you'll have to keep your rank in the 50s while gaining 5000 experience. Good luck with that.

You act like that's difficult and I'd want to get that rank. Assualt Rifle primary is not what I'd consider fun.

And we tried playing the other undefeated teams but they're the ones not accepting the invite. Doesn't matter anyways, because the top 32 ranked teams will eventually have to play eachother in the tournament to determine who gets the sponsor. Then they can't decline the invite =]

And, no, I don't think I'm the best player. I was consistantly a top 16 Halo 2 player, though. So I was considered "pro". I'm still far from being the very best though.

And I know how teams are about not accepting invites. <_<


And it is difficult. Not only do you have to win 5,000 games, but you have to keep from being thrown down to a lower skill level.
