It seems we catch a little more interest every day, I plan on waiting untill the 15th. If by the 15th, we have 12-15 players(more would be AWESOME!), I'll go ahead and move along with the second phase of planning. This doesn't mean we'll stop taking players, I just feel 12-15 people would be enough to move ahead in planning, and just gather more people as time goes along. But keep telling your friends guys!

We have moved onto phase 2 of planning, choosing the realm we will be playing on. Poll will no longer be counted, and we are on a Normal server, Alliance being the faction. Please go to the following thread for part 2, this thread will no longer be regularly checked for posts.

Okay, basically I'm looking to find out how much interest the FFR community (the WoW playing part of it) would have in rolling on a new server, and starting a guild of nothing but FFR players. I'm sure, with 1.29million players, there has to be a TON of WoW players out there.
Those of us who visit the site regularly, posting on the forums or not, consider this to be like a virtual home. I don't spend near as much time on the forums as I do in chat/MP, so a lot of people are probably thinking "Who the hell are you?". I've been a member of the site for almost 1.5 years, and I play FFR quite often, usually in small periods of time where I just play a buttload over the course of a week or two, then switch to some other game, which, most of the time, is WoW. My basic idea here, is to create a guild, a sub-community of FFR inside of WoW. If we enjoy playing FFR together, why not play something else I'm sure that tons of us enjoy?
If you're interested, vote in the poll and post that you are interested. Hell, even if you aren't, vote anyway, I'm leaving a special spot open for "not interested".
If you're interested, think about some things:
Do I want to play Alliance or horde?
Do I want to play a normal, PvP, RP, or Pvp(RP)?
Which WoW do I play? Because Shantred is pulling this together on WoW(EN), not EU or CH.
I'm completely opening this up to the vast majority. I realize there aren't ANY servers that allow Horde and Alliance to be in a guild together, So we'll have to decide whether we(the vast majority) wants to be horde or alliance. If we end up voting for a faction that you don't like, then go ahead and play anyway, you never know what the other faction is like until you try.
After(and if) we find there is enough interest in something like this, we'll then start another poll, I'll search through the servers with specifications everyone voted for and we'll make a list and have people vote on them. I would prefer people who want to start on a brand spankin' new server, so nobody has too much of an advantage over everyone else.
