I got it for Christmas and i just wnat to tell all of you that it is better than 4............There is this thing called super duel mode, where you can buy parts with mini game points and battel other peoples machines in these battle stages. The story mode is alot better because insted of it just being the same thing as the party, you have to beat Bowsers "underling" as they are called, by making them loose all their coins. The mini games are ok. There is also these mini games in options like beach volleyball, ice hockey and some card game or something..........haven't tried it yet. That is all I have to say.

Ugh...Mario Party needs to die. The first one got Kudos for being original, the second got kudos for not sucking like the first and being fun, the rest have felt like a generic attempt to milk the franchise for all it is worth without adding any real new content. So far Tony Hawk and sports games are the only franchises which have managed to do this successfully, and I don't know why the Mario Party craze has lasted as long as it did. Glad you like it, but I'll be happy when this series dies.

i will be too, but the reason i posted this thread is to show that it IS better than most of the other Mario Parties.

I have Mario Party 1, 2, and 4.

My cousins always want to play them when they come over, and I never will.

I used to like them but now they're boring.

I can't get throught story mode in Mario Party 4 without having to go to the bathroom or something, lol.

i don't know if i said this, but there are a lot of levels on the story mode, but they are really short....you don't go through the whole turn thing....basically the overall gameplay is different.
