I seriously don't know anyone who knows this series. I absolutly love it.
The plot's somewhat thin, mostly just giving you a reason to kill things.
It's an FPS in it's purest form. Very few puzzles, but it makes up for that with sheer number of enemies and guns. The game is pretty futuristic (Laser gun with 4 barrels + aliens etc.) and sometimes straight-up ridiculous (portable cannon anyone?).
A great game for mindless killing.
