I played Guitar Hero for the frst time today.

Yo, guys. Today, I played Guitar Hero for the first time. I saw a video of someone playing Guitar Hero and I thought it would be easy. I tried three times and almost lost twice. The only song I beat was, I think, 'I Wanna Be Sedated' of something like that on easy, and I got an 86%.

I just got it yesterday, having never played it before, and have already five starred Thunderhorse Expert. I play the guitar though, so that might help.

Guitar Hero is way to easy, IMO. I've only played it twice, and I did great... It was a while ago, so I don't remember what I played. Playing Guitar Freaks before hand probably helped though.

Instead of buying GH you should import GF

Being said -

Love the game. Great for a quick pick-up-and-play type deal. It's wonderful because Dragon Quest VIII (Game I'm working through right now) can get downright tedious at points, so it's good to have something to switch over to for a few minutes and goof around on.

Yeah, the thing is I never played guitar or any other guitar games or such, so I think I did pretty good for a guy playing Guitar Hero for the first time with absolutely no sort of prior experience. I think I will buy the game. At least I would if I had a PS2, but all I have is an Xbox, and I don't wanna spend money on a PS2.

The first time I played GH is when I bought it.

On the second day, I was playing on Hard Mode and I finished the game on Expert by the end of the week. It's not really a very hard game through and through, but a good way to spend some time.

It's not hard to beat, but nigh impossible to complete 100% (i.e. get max score on all songs)

Apparently, from what you guys are saying, I might as well not buy it and just go to my local arcade (where I first played) and play there. It'll probably cost less.

A friend of mine said he played Guitar Hero at some store, so I'd imagine they'd have it at something similar to an arcade.

He and one of his friends love GH. I hate it :/

Well, not so much an arcade, but a gaming LAN place with really fast computers, game consoles, and an ITG2 machine.

We had a place like that out where I lived called Cyber Xone, but it got shut down hard core. It was a really cool place to hang out and the guy that owned it was a really cool guy that respected the regular customers and would eject jerks from the place. And then it closed for some reason.

I remember during one lock in, I got pissed off and bored, so I beat someone up with an inflatable crayon after he started some ****. We both got kicked out, though.
