Final Fantasy Tactics A2?

I read something somewhere that a sequel to Final Fantasy Tactics Advance was being released in Japan or something, and I was curious if anyone had any information to its release in the US?

Nope. PSP has Disgaea Portable and FFT remake.

The FFT remake looks immensely awesome. I'll probably buy a PSP when it comes out here... FFT is one of my favorite games ever.

FFTA is not.

Final Fantasy Tactics Advance was a disgrace to the original. If there was a FFT2, that'd be nice.

I guess it could've been worse. They could've sequelized the original to make FFTA FFT2 instead. That probably would've made a lot more people mad.

I really didn't find FFTA to be that bad, considering it was on the GBA. I guess I gave it some room just because of this, and considering I hadn't played FFT before playing FFTA...

Alas, I still know nothing on any of this...I also heard something about a FFXII game on the DS...that is something I would not look forward to.

FFTA was not by any means a bad game. But, compared to FFT, a total masterpiece, FFTA was a load of crap, a disgrace.

Oh, and don't knock Revenant Wings before it comes out. It's the first game of its kind (by that I mean a mainline FF spinoff on the DS). I'm going to give it a chance before I start worrying.

Meh,FFTA was horrible compared to FFT (as most people have said)
FFT: The Lion's War looks amazing,probably one of the few games that'll be worth buying a PSP for.
FFTA:2 though smells like fail.I can feel it in the air!

I hear yah brotha! What's so sad is that everyone i know only played FFTA and thought it was the best game ever, but i tell them FFT is waaaaaaay better, though they don't believe it because it looks less appealing to them. When will they learn graphics don't make a game =(. As for FFT on psp, Damn you psp! But i'm not buying it just cause of disgaea and FFT, I'll play it on someone else's. Hopefully FFTA 2 will live up to the FFT name and bring back the cool story, features, classes, side quests, and attacks. O and the Cussing too!

FFTA's main good feature was the ability to easily focus on collecting things like all the magic and other skills.

What was so great about FFT was that there were so many varieties of battles and battle objectives, something that FFTA has, I believe, none at all of.

All in all, I'd probably buy FFTA2 were it to be released, but that doesn't mean I would prefer it over the original FFT.

What I didn't like about FFTA is that only certain races could have a certain class,but in FFT any character could be whatever they wanted to be.I also didn't like the judge system in TA,it got to be a hassle and pointless sometimes,especially when you got the cards to abolish certain rules.

Bard and Dancer were gender-exclusive. Monsters were static. Some characters had special classes and were restricted to one skill set (Cloud, for example). It wasn't much different.

Oh, and as for the card system... HOW THE HELL AM I SUPPOSED TO BEAT BEASTS WHEN DAMAGE TO BEASTS IS BANNED? Dumb system.
