    My Portable Sega Radica

Hey, I finally "finished" my Portable Sega Radica.

Incase you dont know what a portable or portablizing something is, its basically when you take a everyday game system like a NES for instance, and make it smaller, more compact, make it run of a battery and a screen. So you can take it anywhere!

Mines not running on batteries, mind you. As I dont have the time or money and dont wanna take the risk of making it run of a battery.

^Just a view of it when its turned off. Ahh looks peaceful.

    ^Left Side View of it.

    ^Right side view of it.

^A view of whats under the "hood"

^More "In Depth" under the hood view. Notice that Yellow is lugged into white, as my A/V cord, thinks white is video.

^Just another view of all of it, except this time its at the Radica menu screen.

^Close up of the screen and speakers.

^Picture of me playing Sonic 2 on the Sega.

^Size Comparison of the Portable and a Wiimote.

This project took me about 5 months to do, but for 3.5 of of those 5 months, I just worked so I had enough money to actually start building it. I'd say this is pretty awsome for a first time portable. I know its big, and uncomfortable, but its better than nothing.

Over all it costed me about, $80ish.
$10 for 2 couplers, $40 for the screen (Which has a car adapter yay I can play it in a car now), $20 for the Radica, and $10 for the 3.5MM to A/V cord.

I'd say if I WAS to sell this, it would be for about $130+ which is considerably cheap for how much time and effort I put into this.

PM me with a request, and I'll get back to you.

No No, I added a screen, made the screen run off batteries, so now its fully portable. No plugging it into a big TV
