    Lineage 2 Anybody?

    Lineage 2 is an RPG developed and published by NCSoft in 2003. It's some-what popular these days. It has about 1.5 million users, but does not compete with Word of Warcraft very well. (User wise) There are tons of private servers these days. One of the most well known one was L2Extreme, which was shut down by the FBI in late 2006.

    Now that you've had some background information, I was wondering if anybody here at FFR plays, has played, or will play Lineage II.

      Late 2006, you mean?

      I'd like to play, if I had a decent private server.

          Oops, I'll go back and fix that.

          There are a few good servers out there today. But their population decreased. After L2extreme was shut down. If you want I could tell you a few good ones.

                  Okay, well first off I am sorry for the late reply, I am not much of a thread watcher.

                  Now there are a few I will state and recommend. First off, most of these servers will probably bother you to vote for them. But other than that, they are pretty decent.

                  First, these are the servers where most L2Extreme members migrated to:

                  L2World - Pretty good, but most of the users went to their Europe server. It is mainly donation supported. Many users donate, and as a result receive items as a reward. But donations cost a lot.

                  L2Elite - This is mostly a good server because there are a bunch of people. However, most of them don't speak English, and there is a lot of player killing that goes on.

                  L2Ultimate - Lost the link, anybody know it?

                  Here is a list of other servers that I recommend:

                  L2Forever - Decent amount of people, tons of "Player vs Player" things that go on. But the forums are not too active.

                  L2mmo3d - This one does not have a lot of people. But almost everybody who plays here, is satisfied with the server. Oh and I am a game master there.

                  L2Gold - A considerable server. Highly recommended by most people. Many people play here as well.

                      Eh, I still own Lineage Dark Conquest. Brand new in the box. (2 of them).
