Best strat: enjoy the game, play what you feel like when you feel like it. Don't think about what you are doing or why, enjoy the gameplay, the artistry behind the stepfile, and enjoy the music.
When the game isn't fun for you anymore, take a break. It's not a job, nobody here is professional and getting paid to play and force themselves to constantly improve... it's a game.

Yeah, FFR is addicting...I don't think I'll get bored with this game unless I somehow become the best at it, which won't happen.
I played X2 and beat it during a 4 day weekend. It's one of the easiest games I've ever played. If you're going to play any gamein the FF series I'd recommend either VII or VIII
Try not to bump stuff unless it's related(FFX2) and important(well, not that what you said is unimportant).
But, just curious, are you talking about the Japanese FF3 of the American FF3? I think someone said that the American FF3 is actually FF6 or something.
your probably gonna wanna hit me over the head for askign this but.
WHO THE F*CK IS SIN?
Just 'cause I didn't read this post earilier, it's a big-ass monster that you fight about 5 times throughout the game. You finally kill it completely in the end like it should be.

My friend Engler told me on the phone. I just felt like calling him up and asking him if he was on. He told me he had homework, so he asked me to tell you guys for him.
I know the topic was about X-2 but I can't stop myself...
FFVII was the best COMMERCIAL success, FFVI was the actual best in my not so humble opinion.
Sure FFVII set off the craze and had better graphics but those are the only two categories going for it. FFVI had a better soundtrack, better plot, better character development, and the best leveling system I've ever seen.
So now you know...
AND KNOWLEDGE IS POWER!
If it weren't for irony, this statement wouldn't be funny.
