Okay, this deserves a double posting.



I may be using this weapon for a LONG, long time. I think it's stronger than the level 70 Black Umbrella now.

EDIT: If you throw in booster, then yes, it is stronger. That makes it the strongest known pure int weapon available in any version, I think(besides ones other people scrolled, of course). If nothing else ever comes out for us(rofl, yeah right), I may be using this weapon forever, or at least until I can buy a better scrolled one, but that'll take a while.

Sorry to bust your bubble, Tosh, but a Black Umbrella's M.ATK can range anywhere from 82-88 M.ATK.

I editted it before you posted that.

Also, umbrellas can't get a lot of things, like booster. They also can't be scrolled, but for this argument, that wouldn't matter anyway.

Besides, a Maple Lama that can get 9 int probably has like 75 matk anyway, meaning it really has 84 matk. With booster, that can dominate.

But yeah, besides the hardly-useful skill, Black Umbrellas might be very slightly better for a few levels.

Lmao larry, I was messing aroun at jepes and hit 112xx but didn't get a screenie, tried for like 5 more minutes and never hit above 11k.

What the hell at Ant, Krystalia, and Zoolander getting banned??? Seriously what the hell is that? -_-;;; This is becoming a double edged sword exponentially as we speak. >.< Sin is level 46.... not much progress.... been busy with school. Right now I'm trying to sign up for KMS... but I can't really read korean so yeah.... I'm having trouble on the password page, all I can get out of a google translation is "The neck [sun] password memory there is a possibility of seeking from many sides nexon.com which is not born. [The neck [sun] ID passwords it seeks]" aka "The Nexon password that you save should be one that cannot be found on sites aside from nexon.com." but I get an error everytime I put in a password (I've tried korean passwords too.) When the error comes up, it's in the form of a picture so I can't translate it. -_- If anyone knows Korean or even a little let me know.

Booster sucks.

They also can't be scrolled, but for this argument, that wouldn't matter anyway.

They can in some versions and if umbrellas ever get better market penetration, we might just get those scrolls.

Also, black umbrella is way cooler.

Oh and you may be forgetting super snow board. We might get that sometime, and that has high mattck. It just can only be used with arrow and not casting type attacks (which is all fire mages use anyway).

Oni: You need a Korean SSN to sign up. Good luck finding one. You'd be better off just playing JMS and exploring Riprey and such there and then going back once JMS gets 4th jobs. Really the only way to play KMS outside of Korea is if you know some Korean dude. =\

And wtf I hate you guys. I 2hk them and won't 1hk for a long ass time. =( By the time I max Amp I'll do (assuming I don't get any better items) 6,730 ~ 8,925. I need 79 more matk (and amp) before I'll do 10k. That's 16 levels away. ;______;

I think you have it backwards. Arrow skills CAN'T be used by 2h weapons (boards are polearms, which are 2h). Some 1h skills (claw, bolt, maybe poison brace?) can be used with 2h weapons, and explosion can be used whether you have a weapon in your hand or not. But the lack of arrow would be terrible. =\

Weee, I think i have it figured out now.

Edit once more: Well I pretty much have it done lol, I just need to restart my computer so I can use a soft keyboard to type in Korean and I'll be done for the most part. I'll let you guys know how KMS is ^_^.

I know, but it's still there, and it still does something. It's like the 1/2 int on a hat. You just get it because it's there and is slightly beneficial. Pretty much because it's better than nothing.

Well, 2nd job, we obviously get good damage quickly, but 3rd job, we finally get that strong AoE we've wanted forever, so I'm satisfied with how it works. I think every class except fire mages gets at least one attack that's AoE before third job, but we, well, we don't. We deserve a strong one.

EDIT: Well, after thinking for half a second, I remember that bandits and sins don't, but they get cool moves instead. We just shoot some stupid arrow, display a tree and teleport a few feet. Teleport's the coolest thing there, and it's not that fun.

Well, actually, it is.

But still, it doesn't look as cool as some other moves.

Thing is, the magic attack formula is exponential (just barely, but it definitely is) so by 200 any magician will have insane attack, especially if they go pure int and have Maple Hero cast on them. It's just kinda annoying that other classes get tons of attack power from one point of watk, but I need tons of matk to get an equal amount. And it's also not too comforting that my new attacks I'll have in 4th job aren't even that great. The strongest one is only 210 base attack, and it's based in poison (which like, 2 things are weak to) so it'll easily be outdamaged by any 140 or better fire attack. =\

So on YouTube today I discovered my B3 run is still the fastest recorded run ever, even though it really wasn't my best work.

Except the guy who uploaded it is claiming he's me.

I kinda wish I had a YouTube account so I could comment and tell him off.

He also claims it was one smooth run, when in the thread I originally posted it in, I said it was three pieces put together because other people were on the maps.
