I was confused about how that worked and if it does anything special.

My town lost power for 12 hours yesterday thanks to the end of a nearby Tornado so I didn't get a chance to get ANYTHING at all god dammit.

Squeek, do you know the next locations and/or monsters to find the tubes for July 3rd?


EDIT: Fame is a requirement just like STR LUK DEX INT, you'll need a certain amount to equip special armor and what not when they implement it.

I have -6 fame, but I am a aggressive KSing/item stealing/don't insult me kind of person. I won't worry about it because you can buy others fame for 5K. I'm an ice/lightening wizard, I can't post the picture because my photoshop is being lame, and I deleted my paint. I'm the same class as Squeek and only 1 level behind. The difference is he's going down the Ice path and I'm going down the Lightening path.

I don't have a clue about the tube drops. The ones that drop now did not drop like they should have. They made it a lot easier than it is in jMS.

The fame for armor is in the game now. Level 40+ black armor requires 20 fame to wear. Black armor is almost always the best stat-wise anyway. You get just about 20 just from doing all the quests up until level 40 as it is.

If you were defamed, there are many ways you can get some back. Either pay someone to fame you (5k), trade fame with someone, or do certain quests where the reward includes fame.

I got my tube in Scania. +11 speed. GG. Good thing I have the rarest speed addition weapon already at above-average stats as is (Red Whip, +16 speed. Want it? 2 million).

I don't want to mess this character up and you seem to know alot.
So what skills do I want to level up and when should I level them up to become a banditsin.

k... so I was playing right. And I made a new character. He was going to be a mage. Well, I didn't know mage started at lvl 8. So I leveled up to 10. Well, here's my question: Should I make him a mage anyway, or should I go for one of the other classes so I don't miss out on skill points?

Also, I saw someone with a tube on Maple Island. It was in the Japanese version though.

I don't want to mess this character up and you seem to know alot.
So what skills do I want to level up and when should I level them up to become a banditsin.

You should max Keen Eyes first, then Lucky Seven (stop at 10 into the skill, save up for 3 levels, then dump it all in to max it), then Nimble Body. Extra points go either into Disorder or Dark Sight. I suggest Dark Sight.

Note that you are just leveling as an Assassin for the first job.

Then, advance as a Bandit. Some people say to put Haste to 10 so you can kill faster with your Claw, but this is preference. What you can also do is get Mastery up to 19 (level 36), then start maxing Savage Blow. Just blow right past the level 15 2x cost thing and put points into the skill. Once it hits 6 times, you can use a dagger instead of a claw if you want. You can also max it out before switching over to a dagger. It's up to you.

What I do not suggest is adding points into Steal. Instead, go back into the first job book after you've done all 5 of the REAL skills in the 2nd one and put more points into something you want. Say, maxing Dark Sight.

Sorry to say, but you're gonna need to restart. Life will suck as a mage if you cannot use all your SP. You shouldn't be able to just become another class either. You should have put all your points into Int, thus thwarting the option of going to another class.

Tubes in jMS drop froms snails, so it's common to see them in jMS.

I didn't know that. I think I'll just make the character I was talking about above into a thief or maybe a warrior. Whatever. It doesn't really have to be perfect either, because this is the character I'm using in jMS. Either way, I don't really care about it being perfect anyway.

I kind of gayed my mage after all when I look back to the beggining of his creation so I'm going to remake him when I get the chance to transfer items with a friend. Warrior is going to be deleted period, going to transfer his stuff and sell it and whatever.
