Levelling really shouldn't take so damned long, it's pretty ridiculous.

Thunder Spear, Seal, and Magic Comp. look sweeeeet.
Just so you know, some people think Magic Comp is better than Thunder Spear because it fires a lot faster, plus it freezes enemies. Thunder spear is the most powerful spell of all the 3rd job skills, though, so some people may sacrifice attack speed for raw damage. I sure would. Also, poison mist = best mob skill ever. You can teleport around laying down mist and it will automatically poison and repoison things. Especially with the largeness of maps later on, this is cool because you can poison an area, kill in another area, and as things respawn in the first place they will be poisoned and killed. As in the 2nd job, 3rd job F/P wizards kick ass at soloing things.

The boredom tends to set in in the late 30s and 40s. If you actually manage to get to 50, congratulations. 60 is astounding. Even moreso for 70.

People lose interest in this game so incredibly fast. Probably the harshness of leveling.

      ~Squeek
It wouldn't be so harsh if we had the level 31-50 PQ. Seriously, that's all I would be doing right now if I could. And we've all seen those screenshots of level 100+ people leveling twice while fighting Zakum. Friggin ridiculous. I'd hit it.
So I've gone completely slack-ass and haven't done any work on creating games. =(

In less-depressing news, I got a job for an online business (which sells non-electronic games, of all things!) which has taught me a lot about marketing online and all that jazz.

So now I'm on Twitter @NoahWright.
And I write the blog for their website.

Plus I do cool programming in-house that you'll never see. =O

Yeah, I concur. They really need to introduce lego-land or whatever the hell that's called.

        Now.

Since I've been somewhat bored with power levelling lately, I've been doing more and more exploring.

Got as far into El Nath as I could earlier (That's Ice Valley II, forgot to expand the map in that SS)

Got to the Garden of Darkness II.

So I've done those, gotten all the way to the Cursed Sanctuary solo, been Golem watching, mushmom hunting. Where else should I go?

          Here are the exploration places

          (All levels)

          Mushmom (Someone Else's House)

From Henesys, go up the stairs near the Taxi and keep pressing up as you go up a stair behind that tree. Eventually, you'll warp to "Someone's House". The gate is the hidden portal in. Keep going, wait about an hour, there you go.

Drakes / Cargos / Tauros (Sanctuary)

Cargo's Den is in the upper entrance in "Another Entrance", past "Drake's Meal Table". Tauros are in the lower entrance. Look for an invisible rope and climb down it. After 4 maps of Tauromacis and Taurospear, you will enter the Cursed Sanctuary. The Jr. Balrog resides here. He spawns once every 6-7 hours.

          Sleepywood Dungeon

Just right of the Mysterious Statue is a house. Press up on the house. There are 5 levels in this place. You will start seeing Dark Stone Golems in the 3rd level.

          Orbis

Fly there from Ellinia. You arrive in Orbis. Cloud Park is above the entrance to the tower. Going DOWN in the first room and continuing to descend takes you to Pixies and Nependeaths of various kinds (Nependeaths attack unprovoked! Beware!) If you go LEFT from the first room, you enter the Gardens. You start on the Jr. Cats (as we call them). Going a few rooms in takes you to the real versions of the three elemental cats. Continuing further takes you to the Lucida, or the evil cats. Do not attack them. They dish 900 damage.

          El Nath

Go right. Try not to die. In a room where you have a choice of portals, take the top one. You can only go two rooms in unless you're 50 or above.

          (50+ only)

          El Nath Dungeon.

Go up. A lot. After you reach the top, you see Zombies in the Forest of Dead Trees. A lot of people level here; it is not just Clerics. Continue 4 maps more and you enter the mines. Boring place. Keep doing and you reach "Another Path". Huge drop later, you enter Jakum's Dungeon. You cannot summon him yet, but you can fight (or look at) the enemies that are here.

I've done all of that and more. Those enemies you could only see, I have killed and/or partied with friends against them. My least favorite place to party is Lycanthropes. I HAVE to have Hyper Body when I party there and even them, I'm very much afraid of dying.

Hmm, I'll do the dungeon one when I go back to Victoria, I've never been there.

Hmm, I wish there were more places, though. Sucks that you have to be 50 to get to the Zombie place.

            Hmm.. what's this place?

That's the Zakum dungeon place. Err, the road to Zakum. Whatever you call it. It's beyond the zombies beyond that level 50 only place beyond the El Nath snowfields.

                aaand

                yay! I killed a few!

back to levelling. I need to level a few times before I can put anything more into lit.

Pshhhhhhhh, I didn't bother saving up. I was like, "screw pots, I need more damage," and kept putting points into arrow. I used a ton more pots, but I don't care. I've got teh cash.

Yeah, I'm getting low on cash right now. I've only got like 180k, and it's not exactly easy to get money these days. I think I'll only save up for one level, and dump 6 points in.

It's funny... even with this lessened money drop I still find myself making nearly as much off of one mana elixer run.

As it is, I have about 200k I think, and I had almost nothing when the 2x was first taken away.

Jeez, and I was feeling special about having 25k.

Guess I'm still a n00b. Time to do more levelling, methinks.

I still have millions, that's why my Fire Arrow is level 16/30. It may sound stupid, but that one point gets 5% mastery, and potions aren't really a problem.

First of all, ROFL level 117

                              Second, holy crap 5-digit damage

Third, that blue guy is awesome. Is he some kind of mutant Pepe or what?

I'd say he's the pepe equivalent to King Slime.

Darn those Koreans and Japanese and their better verion of MS than us. That's almost enough to get me playing jMS again.

                                almost.
