I'm a level 10 now. Yay and stuff.

Squeek, what's the point in saving SP? Do you get more if you save it or am I not getting part of this? o.o

My computer only lagged when I'd enter places with tons of people, and then only right when I went in. I'm sure you've experienced stutters when it loads in a huge group. If you look at your map, you can see. It will only show the red dots for people in a small box around you, and when you walk it keeps showing you just that box until you get to a certain point, and then it loads in a whole new box that you're walking to. There was one spot on the left side of Perion that, if I crossed it, there would be a load time. I kept crossing it because I would retain control but wouldn't see, so I'd run away to avoid death, then run back. As long as I kept within a certain little area, it didn't lag, but I walked off the edge and fell into another box of loadination and the game stopped for a second. It came back and I have like 50 health and I hit the potion key right when I died. I HATE the way MS loads in other characters, but whatever.

EDIT: Guy above me: when your skill goes above a certain number of points (halway to maxing it) the MP useage doubles. So like, at level 10, claw costs 10 mp to use, but at level 11 it costs 20. The difference between level 10 claw and level 11 claw isn't much, so it's good to not spend the points yet. Yeah, you'll be a little weaker, but you'd use twice as many potions otherwise, so it's worth it. Personally, I don't save SP for all the levels, because I crave the higher damage and can afford pots. If you're new (and use a lot of money like everybody else seems to do), you should save up, though.
So I've gone completely slack-ass and haven't done any work on creating games. =(

In less-depressing news, I got a job for an online business (which sells non-electronic games, of all things!) which has taught me a lot about marketing online and all that jazz.

So now I'm on Twitter @NoahWright.
And I write the blog for their website.

Plus I do cool programming in-house that you'll never see. =O

Sure, it loads people in boxes, but it doesn't lag, it's just loaded when I walk there and tons of red boxes appear.

Server checks don't do anything. Patches are what adds things.

They call everything server checks, but half the time they're actually tiny lil patches. Stupid Koreans.

Hit 36. Put one into lightning (it's at 15 so I'll start saving next level), one into MP Eater, and just to be controvercial, one into teleport. woo. MP Eater and Telep are now both at two, I think next level I'll put one in MP, one in Meditation (just to have it), and maybe save the third point up for lightning later.

Don't put one into meditation. If you really want something like it, go to Ant Tunnel and whore horned mushrooms. They drop wizard potions, which give you +10 magic attack for like, 3 minutes (can't remember how long). I still have a bunch that I am finally starting to use because I realized that since fire arrow is maxed (level 40, bi-atch! =D) I'm gonna start working on meditation, which will make wiz pots useless to me (since they don't stack).

PS: I'd rather my panlid have more defense than give me 40 HP. 4 more defense would make you not lose that extra 40 HP that you gained, which, IMO, is much better.

EB, you saw the defense of the shield wrong. Not only is it +40 HP, but it's 32 Defense and 12 Magic Defense.

                          It's also not his.

zomg Squeek is level 65 now.

Woo, that was fun. MM and I went deeep into Ant Tunnel and got to the Sanctuary entrance. Then, the Taurospear caught him with Magic Guard off, and I fell off a platform just as 4 more Taurospears appeared, and mobbed me faster than I could hit my pot keys.

OIC, now. Squeek, go to http://www.hidden-street.net/damagecalc.php and tell me what your damage range is for claw. Give it (min~max)*2 form. I want to see if I can out-damage you, silly cleric.

                                Minimum Damage: 856
                                Maximum Damage: 1428

It's 40 and 40, so I put 80. Durhurr. This is the damage of each claw:

                                Minimum Damage: 428
                                Maximum Damage: 714

Clerics are weak. The MIN damage of a Fire Wizard using Fire Arrow at my level with my stuff is just slightly under my MAX damage with Claw. AND I don't get knockback since there are two small numbers as opposed to one big number.

Oh, and just for fun, here's the Holy Arrow damage.

                                Minimum Damage: 749
                                Maximum Damage: 1249

                                And on a Dark enemy:

                                Minimum Damage: 1006
                                Maximum Damage: 1677
