I spent a lot of time on this thing. I just updated it today. It's for hermits and assassins. However, everyone check it out. I put an example in there too (me).

In case anybody wanted to se T-Spear's damage when maxed (and with max amp, I believe).

EDIT (cuz it's not worth a new post): I timed myself since Jason wanted me to and since I 2hk Coolies most of the time.

51.33% to 52.11% in 5 minutes at Coolies (.78% gain)
52.44% to 53.20% in 5 minutes at Pangs (.76% gain)

Pangs have better drops, are less crowded, and there's no stun/poison to make me really hate the world. Thus, I'll stay at Pangs, but if Chris wants to try partying with me at Coolies I won't be completely useless. ;D

So I've gone completely slack-ass and haven't done any work on creating games. =(

In less-depressing news, I got a job for an online business (which sells non-electronic games, of all things!) which has taught me a lot about marketing online and all that jazz.

So now I'm on Twitter @NoahWright.
And I write the blog for their website.

Plus I do cool programming in-house that you'll never see. =O

        Actually pretty weak.

Syaoran was pulling 15k+ on every shot against Majestics.

I was there to use Holy Symbol =/

He's doing about equal to Maesma's damage with t-spear, yet 18 levels ahead lol. No I am not trying to make WK look godly (all classes have their strengths of course), just an observsation.

I/L mages suck. F/P mages just seem cooler and more unique to me for some reason. Plus explosion looks cooler than the ice spell.

Why do people think warriors need to be funded.

              It's not hard.

By the way, Noah, that's probably faster exp than me at coolies haha. I can only kill at a rate of 2hk if I'm hitting many at once. It's 3~4 and even 5 sometimes if I'm going after one monster at a time.

Then again, in the perfect instance, I can kill 6 coolies in 3 hits. It's all a matter of the spawn I get.

Ugh. I am realizing now, more and more, how boring and repetitive this game is. I'll log on, spend 5 minutes searching for an empty jeti channel. I mob some jetis, then kill them. Mob some jetis, then kill them. That's all I do. Partying doesn't make this game any more fun (to me at least), in fact it seems to slow my EXP most of the time. Leveling is a chore in all seriousness. Sure 3rd job looks cool and all, but spending the time getting there will be boring as hell. And once I get to 3rd job, it will all start over. Find a monster, kill it etc. etc. It seems this game is only good for chatting with other people, and you have AIM for that =/

If I don't quit this game expect me to be on a lot less.

                  Re: MapleStory

I got jealous of IL mages for their freezing ability, but now that I have Seal it isn't so bad. It's still annoying cuz the 38% chance seems like sometimes it's 90% and other times it's 5%. MS's bad randomizer really shows its ugly side when I'm using Seal, and sometimes I wish I had 100% accuracy like Ice does, but once I max Seal and it hardly ever fails I will be laughing at the ice mages who can't freeze ice monsters or cast Ice Strike on a rope. =D

And Bahamut, Maesma did less than 10k on some hits. The mage advantage is that our damage is retardedly consistent. Sure that guy didn't shoot much but it seemed like he COULDN'T do less than 10k to Vikings with TSpear. It is slower and weaker, though. XD

EDIT: Bahamut, most games are highly repetitive. Hell, LIFE is repetitive. Wake up, eat, work/school (most likely doing something repetitive), eat more, sleep, repeat. What really matters is whether or not you enjoy the repetitive cycle. I don't like playing my mage much when nobody is on, so I go on my sin and KS newbs. I just like the interaction with people, even if it's me being an asshat to everybody. That's why I don't care much about the leveling speed anymore. I just go wherever is most fun, and what ends up is that I spend a long time there fighting and get more exp than if I had gone to the most efficient place and signed off out of boredom.

I KNOW EXACTLY WHAT YOU MEAN.

Dispel often works on the first time. Then other times I have to sit there holding it to get it to work.

Then I'll have a mob freeze attack for non ice strongs, and seal/tspear for ice strongs.

                        Re: MapleStory

I ran into an interesting little discussion on SW. It was a Lvl 54 F/P Mage asking should he go either Slow or MP Eater first. Many 6X-7X players said that Slow was good for fighting Grupins/Pepes while the others said that MP Eater was good for when you were fighting Grupins.

However, those in favor of MPE first said that a F/P mage wouldn't really need slow until Lycans and WWs. Those in favor of Slow said that MPE wouldn't really be needed until Explosion at 7Xs.

So now I'm asking you guys. What do you think will be more suitable for me: Slow first or MPE first?

                          Re: MapleStory

MPE saves money. Slow makes fighting without taking damage easier.

It's up to you to decide which you want more.

Exactly how I felt for a majority of the game. Yes, 3rd job is quite awesome and I think it is well worth it. If you really do get bored with your page, make a ranged character and just have some fun with it. I took a massive break from my archer when I was 5x. 6x I grinded just because its like ZOMG 3rd JOB. Well, my advice is to make a new character or just quit ms altogether for like 2 weeks so that when you come back to it, it will be at least fresher and hopefully more fun for you.

                              Re: MapleStory

Chromer, if you get Slow first you won't be happy with it. I rarely use Slow at Grupins, and Pepes are terrible training (same exp as Pangs but tons more HP, and their maps are more annoying than Pang maps), so Slowing them isn't a big issue. MPE helps with mob skills more than single skills, but if I didn't have max MPE fairly early in my 60s I would have had to use pots. Think about this: Grupins have 160mp. Max MPE absorbs 40% of your target's MP. In the case of Grupins, you absorb 64mp 30% of your shots. SIXTY FOUR MP!! That's more than 2.25 FA shots, and since you absorb about once every 3 shots, that plus your natural MP regen means you never use MP pots. Even now, when FA costs 33 mp cuz of amp, I can train at Grupins and not need MP pots EVER. I even train with MG on half the time and then cancel it while my MP recovers WHILE I'M FIGHTING.

That's why Grupins are such good money. When I have MG on, I gain more white pots than I use, and when MG is off, I regain enough MP that I never need MP pots, and the pots I get from EQ have caused me to have so many pots that all my secondary characters have full Use inventories and I've had to sell hundreds of salads. MPE is my bestest buddy. =D

And Cam has a good point. I got really bored with MS and played Guild Wars for a while cuz it was a fresh game. Then I got bored with it kinda, so I played a little of each and they were both more fun because of it. Now I play other characters in MS or other games altogether mixed in with MS to keep it interesting. It's tempting to play and MMO and nothing but an MMO to try and make your guy a higher level, but you'll realize getting bored with the game faster from that makes you level up slower and slower. Just only play MS when you feel like it, and if you're in the mood for something else do that. I find I level fastest and have the most fun when I randomly feel like playing MS rather than when I play MS out of habit/feeling I have to level and beat Chris.
So I've gone completely slack-ass and haven't done any work on creating games. =(
