The boxed image is on our site with the subtext "Surprise." It fits in perfectly with this Taiwan Maple Story image signaling the release of the Third Job perfectly.
The graphic in the back is the symbol you see when you get the third job. It's like Bless, HS, and Dispel all combined.

I don't have enough patience to train my archer even to level 50... Making new accounts takes my mind off of training and feels good because you level so fast at the beginning... It will take me until next year to get to level 70 if I continue to play... sigh

See, I make new characters to play when I get bored with my fire mage. Either I stop playing all together, or I play the other characters. Either way, having multiple guys isn't slowing me down a bit.
And how come we don't get a cool animation when we make a job advance? Maybe I just don't remember cuz it's been so long, but when I job advanced in jMS it did a cool thing, but that didn't happen in gMS back when I job advanced. :\So I've gone completely slack-ass and haven't done any work on creating games. =(
In less-depressing news, I got a job for an online business (which sells non-electronic games, of all things!) which has taught me a lot about marketing online and all that jazz.
So now I'm on Twitter @NoahWright.
And I write the blog for their website.
Plus I do cool programming in-house that you'll never see. =OComment

That wee girl in the ellinia with the weird looking beanie is called Estelle. In MSEA, she is part of this quest called Mrs Ming Ming's Worries... There are 2 parts to this quest. At the 2nd part, you got to go to this Estelle to get a special sauce from her. You need to give her a friggin Garnet for the sauce. And Mrs Ming Ming apparently needs TWENTY pig heads as well. Nutter.
If you finish both parts of the quest you'll get a pig headribbon which has a succkified defense but adds 50 hp.

I don't know how fast I can make it to level 70. It depends on a few factors, like whether or not I'm working at one location or the other. The main location I work at I can train the whole time. The one I'm at right now, I can't really as it's slightly busier and the boss is usually around. Also, it depends on how much Pat helps. So far, since the fusion technique, he hasn't done a whole lot in terms of training. I'd say me 80% and him 20%, although Robby helped some too...
Hmm.. I went from level 55 with 61% to level 56 with 22% earlier today..

blitz, if you do the 2nd job advance late (like, at level 35), you still retain all the skill points. It says you have to use up all the points up to level 30, not all points, so you can save up points and do the job advance late. This has been confirmed, since some warriors will do the job advance late because they don't have very high dex and can't do very good damage to things in the challenge for the job.
And my guess is that 3rd jobs will be a Christmas present. That'll be cool, cuz I'm not level 70 yet. I mean, a tiny part of me is like "nooo, don't do it without me!!" but then again, if other people have time to play through the 3rd job and write guides and make videos, I can see for sure what skills are awesome. I'm still not quite sure on poison versus explosion and like, when I should get seal and elemental amp and stuff like that. Bandit was figuring out what he wants to do, and it seems 3rd job gives a lot more choices in the way of build order as opposed to 1st and 2nd jobs (max HP/MP increase and mastery really messes with freedom). I'll probably get 1 in elemental resistance early on and max explosion right away. How many points do we have to work with, do you guys know? Like, when is the 4th job advance? XD
And Squeek, I don't understand you people that grind past level 70. I wouldn't play past that without 3rd job, since 3rd job will definitely speed my leveling by a ton. If I were you I would just play another character and wait for Holy Symbol. After you get that you'll level like mad with your permaparty. So I've gone completely slack-ass and haven't done any work on creating games. =(

Yea I don't understand it either Noah.
Anyways, I guess I only have around 106,000 zombies to kill to get to level 70.
So if I kill one every 5 seconds (put it on the high end because of downtime, like walking there), it will take 147 hours to get from where I am to level 70. That's 6 days of non-stop playing.... ;__; So that means 24 1/2 days of playing at 6 hours a day.
Depressing...

Think of it this way. Instead of waiting around doing nothing, we get the job advance and get the max that many skills immediately
That's why. The people who go past 100 ruin the third job experience altogether. 92 would have been where I stopped if I got that far. That puts Symbol at 30, Ray at 30, Door at 4, Dispel at 3, and Resist at 3. If I get to 82 in time, it's:
1 Ray, 3 Dispel, 1 Resist, 1 Door, 30 HS. Then I get door to 4 and max Ray after that.
