You have to have STR for equips at Level + 5 = STR. Plus, if you want to do halfway decent damage on Maple Island, you wanna raise STR first.

Apparently nobody listens to what I say. STR raises your minimum damage, so having lots of it early on benefits you. Also, most archers tend to be Melee in early levels because without Mastery, you do crap damage.

When I was telling you to raise STR, I wanted your minimum damage to increase. You should be "normal" by level 30. That is to say; 35 STR.

It's just a matter of when you put those points in.

Putting STR in your Archer at the start IS infact a good idea, but TOO much would have to be your fault if you didn't have enough dex to make the first job Adv.


EDIT: I went to Ossyria, insane price ranges and armor and monsters O_o Can't wait to hit 50 and go to Zakum :P

Zakum is like the boss of the game I believe. I don't think he's in the English version yet, though.

True. If you try to get there, you get this message:

"Zakum can only be summoned in Channel 3".

Even if you're in Channel 3, you get that message.

No, Squeek, you told us to put enough dex in to make the job requirement, but pump str like mad. My str is way too high now and I don't do very good damage with the bow. Eventually it will be righted but for now it really sucks and so I hardly ever use my archer. Oh well.

Guys, my archer is only level 19 and he's already balancing out. It's really not that bad. Just use a weapon like ax or fork on a stick until your dex gets higher.

Doesn't look hard, except for the final stage, and that's only because I messed up and can't hit Jr. Neckis at level 23. =\

If you have at least 1 Magician 25+ in your PQ you should have no trouble beating it.

Im starting off this game, what would be a good/simple guide for me to follow to make this easier?

Read first page. Level 13. Decided to adventure in the dungeon, reached the tunnell without light. Too bad I have 60 strentgh and 15 dex, I can't hit anyone of those monsters.
