Re: PS3 is dead (IMO)
Well, I want it for both. Not only should I be able to play DVDs and Blu-Ray disks, I should be able to play video games.
Also, as for the price thing, I just said that's pretty much what it is. Fine, say the Blu-Ray costs most of it, and the harddrive is, oh, I dunno, $50, just speaking as if it were. Then that means you'd be getting a LOT of HD for really cheap compared to the PS2.
No matter what, overall, you're getting a whole lot more money worth from your PS3 than you would be from a PS2, and the PS2 did great considering how long it lasted and the diversity of its games. Not as if that money value matters as much as people make it seem, though, because you'll be buying the variety of games that the Playstation always seems to get anyway. You'll WANT to spend money for this because you'll find it so entertaining. I own about 1/4 the amount of Gamecube AND Xbox games COMBINED as I do the PS2, and the PS3 is greater.
