ToS is an incredibly easy game and you can beat Abyssion on Mania mode with a level 9 Sheena.

Anyway...

Hardest boss: Hitoshura in Digital Devil Saga 1. Saying anything else is the hardest boss will just make me laugh at you. He has an attack that does 20k damage. The maximum HP a character can have is 999. The only way to beat the battle is to use an obscure, normally useless skill that makes you invincible while asleep, since he's programmed to use the skill on a certain timetable. And, if you try any cheap stuff, he'll just spam the skill endlessly. Also, his minions will fully heal him if you let them sit too long, and he's always fully healed the first time he drops to 1/2 HP. Look up a DDS FAQ on GameFAQs if you want to see the utter BS required to beat this guy.

Hardest boss that takes skill and not FAQs (sry moogy): Spider Alma on Master Ninja in Ninja Gaiden Black.

Closest thing to impossible I have ever experienced. You approach it to bonk it with your sword a little and it swats you oops you're dead. You don't approach it so it chucks a thousand rocks that you can only successfully dodge maybe one in three tries or she shoots you with some beam that forces you to approach to dodge and then she swats you and YOU ARE DEAD NO MATTER WHAT YOU DO

Oh, right, there are other genres than RPGs. I tend to forget that sometimes.

Yeah, anything on NGB is a pretty good contender, I suppose.

Still, Hitoshura beats all other RPG bosses hands-down.

Omega Pirate was easy, well for me it was since I had all but 1 energy tank since the last one was after it.

And I'm just going to summarize Quadraxis : Easy to Medium Difficulty, Annoying Attacks, (Like the shockwaves, the spin and suck you in one, and the summon those annoying mini-quads) then there's the long length to keep attacking the attenai after you take the main body down.

Boost Guardian from Metroid Prime 2. The guy is kind of tough and the fight was just god dam annoying in so many ways.

uhm iof its bad boss as in difficulty i'd say the guy who steals the devils arms from you in tales of symphonia after you collect all of the devils arms
i beat him on every file except the one where i did like 1/2 exp and barely ever fought people

i may be late to say this but... when i sat "bad" i mean terrible, horrible, way too easy to beat, pointless... thats what i mean and bongobongo fits that discription perfectly

Any and every boss and/or mini-boss from LoZ: Oracle of Seasons. I know for a fact that at most two of the dungeon bosses (the 3rd and 8th) are NOT from the game that started it all. (I think I read that two of the mini-bosses, the 2nd and 4th, are from previous games as well.) I mean, how much crack do you have to be smoking to make that many of the bosses creatures the gaming community has seen before?

(Grammar note: It's "has" instead of "have" in the last sentence because "community" is singular.)

The worst boss ever? Easy, the second half of the Final Boss in TY The Tasmanian Tiger 2. He does NOTHING except run around blindly while you hit him until he stops moving.
