Will FFR Lag on the PS3?

I'm thinking about purchasing a PS3 within the next few months. One of the major selling points is that I would be able to play FFR and do everything that I would be able to do on a normal computer. So does anyone know if FFR The Game would be laggy on a PS3, or would it be just like a normal computer?

A PS3 is something you connect via a cable to the wall.

What is the REAL value in connecting to it on a PS3? You'd need to buy another keyboard, too.

Also, the connection will likely be as fast as your internet is. You'll need a router, and what it pretty much does is acts as another modem.

I believe you can use wi-fi for the internet, so you won't need a new modem.
