I work nightshift for my job, and every night at around 4am i go outside for half an hour on break. Well, today most of you know the PS3 is being sold in stores, exciting for those who really want one. Well I looked at the thermometer on the wall outside, which read 20 C.....And I glaced across the parking lot over at Target and noticed their parking lot lights were on, normally at night they are not, and saw a bunch of wierd things laying by the front door. It was just the people making sure they got a PS3 first....probably getting hypothermia. Me and my co-workers couldn't help but laugh cuz in the 30 min break outside we started to get cold, and they had been there we guessed since probably midnight...I left work at 7am and the store had not opened yet, i think they opened at 830 or something. And still, they had not moving at all it seemed...funny thing is there was only like 10 people total....i expected 20 to 50 like when the 360 first came out. I went by Best Buy also, and it was better there, people had pitched tents by the front door there.
Is the PS3 really that big of a deal to people? I mean I didn't mind waiting a few extra months for a 360, but I did.....Guess I just don't get it yet.....
Anyone else seen anything like this?, or maybe you were one of these "crazy" people I'm talking about.
