And the fight after that is quite awesome as well.

Armagoma was cool just because of the way you had to beat her, using the Dominion Rod on the statues and smashing her.

the only hard bosses in ff7 were ruby weapon and emrald weapon. i kicked sephs ass in3 turns first form and 2 last form

when I said 5 minutes for tales trio I really meant like 2, don't really remember but it wasn't much time at all

I just killed Meredy really quickly, then killed her again, and it was really simple after that. Tales trio doesn't do NEARLY as much damage as Abyssion, plus they don't have nearly as many HP...plus as soon as you kill ~28,000 of the HP that they have (Meredy) the battle becomes laughably easy. I don't see how they can even be compared to Abyssion, except maybe in that they're much harder to predict/dodge...so they're probably much harder if you're soloing, although I don't think that's what's being discussed.

Abyssion is a pretty damn kickass boss, though.

Wow, that may be true on normal difficulty.

For those of us that play on mania, the tales trio is very, very much harder than abby. The three have 40000, 40000, and 32000 HP, they get 3 revives at 30%, which should get them about 12000, 12000, and 9600 more HP, and they can cast nurse once, which is another 40% of all their HP, or 16000, 16000, and 12800, which all adds up to 190400 HP, which is still less than abby, but I've beaten abby with using 2 life bottles at I don't remember what level, but I believe it was below 70. The tales trio also doesn't use any of their good spells on normal, so that doesn't even count, and this was the one battle I got into a big mess in with 10x exp, but I still won.

Mania is so fun, but the 1 on other monster colliseum fights are tremendiusly tough without godly skill or really good leveling up, stats and items.

Giygas was cool yea, but once you figured out how to beat him (or had certain elemental capes) it was an easy fight. It was really all about surviving his first 2 attacks and the rest was simple.
Cerberus was really cool as well, not neccessarily hard, but id have to say the final boss of that game was the coolest, that or pheonix (0 damage killing that thing was a PAIN!!!!)

Merco is better than Cerberus alpha because of how ridiculously BS his S-rank time is. I believe it is 8 seconds.

Actually I think it was 12, but still rediculous. I think i pulled it off, not positive though.....been so long since i played that game......and S ranks were a pain. still havnt gotten all the gold gems either, just missing like 2 of them, the marathon one being prolly the hardest to get, because the timing is so damn precise for starting off. I think i just gave up on it a while ago...
