I type 124WPM, and I still don't make many errors <.<
I was probably tired or something XD
I already have the accessory for double exp. That's a given.
The gold amulet is pretty much everywhere. Get it early and build up your LP a bit...but it kind of comes too late in the game to be really useful. After you've gotten all of the augments LP points are practically useless, because then you only need to liscence weapons and such as you get them, so you have lots of LP to spare.
Wow, Gilgamesh is the most retarded boss in history. He isn't even strong. He just continuously casts status effects like DISABLE (OMFG) on everyone which can't be dodged because they're level x status. However, they're all either level 2, 3 or 4...so, I'm going to level up to level 65 so my level isn't a multiple of any of those numbers (currently 63).
After that it should be a cakewalk, because again he isn't hard but keeps casting disable CONSTANTLY ARG >_< Which is the most imbalanced move in the game. Wow it's annoying.
I was like 30 minutes into the battle, and he had maybe 1/4 of his hp left (it took 30 minutes because I only really got like 2-3 minutes to attack him because of disable), but I just turned it off because I was fed up XD
I did figure out a way to dodge it eventually...what you do is when it says 'preparing level x disable' you just cast esuna right away...and it'll unleash just as you're disabled, and then everyone gets cured of disable.
However, FF12 programers must have known of this bug...rofl. I can't believe they could possibly be so homo. Gilgamesh eventually becomes aware of this abuse after 2-3 turns and STARTS DOUBLE/TRIPLE casting it so you can't dispel it. ROFL! WOW, gg square XD
Also, bravery is imbalanced. Holy cow. I do vertually NO DAMAGE to him when unbravery'd (he parrys constantly and my attacks do like 10-500 damage). When I have bravery casted my attack immediately jumps to like 2000-6000 and he rarely parrys...=/
edit: WHERE DO YOU GET HASTEGA? Constantly casting haste is the biggest annoyance ever XD
edit: beat gilgamesh. Damn his defense near the end was insane, I could barely do any damage to him. A few more level 7 hunts and I might unlock yazmat
Ahh nice reach. I'm right before Dr. Cid's lab, I'm actually on like my 15th hunt, saving up some money to buy some Griomories, which come in SO much handy, don't know if you know about them. Also, anyone know where I can find a Diamond Amulet, need one pretty bad right about now..
Im missing the behemoth king hunt, and 2 other rank 6 hunts and Ill probably unlock yazmat, and im about to do the final stage of the game and I can't even buy hastega yet! :@ it's so retarded I must find it buffing 3 times is a waste, and god getting the last hidden esper is impossible, bats do 3000 damage with protect 0_0 it's ridiculous.... lollll anyway this game is teh pwnage
Ok so, here's just a little info about it..(if you want to know how I set my gambits up, which room and the whole process and everything let me know)
In the Stillshrine of Miriam..
In one of the rooms theres a rare game creature that appears, his name is Negalmuur (after you've defeated all of the enemies, you have to enter and leave the room until he appears, it took me like 20 tries before he showed up).
Negalmuur has the ability to summon undead monsters every 5-10 seconds. Basically, you set your gambits so that no one in your party attacks Negalmurr, and cura/esuna/remedy etc. etc on your self.
So now, after doing all of this, you just leave your party sitting there, and you'll gain a TON of gil from maxing out on three items that they drop, about 400 exp from each monster you kill, and if you have golden amulet 2 LP also. Right now I'm at a 450 chain, 999 LP, and people have leveled up from 40 to around 48-ish in the last hour or so. Leave it sitting there for about three hours, I'd say I'll be at 70ish or so, considering I just equipped everyone with embroided tippets.
wow scottish. Did you find this out yourself or looked? Either way I might try it.

Best strat: enjoy the game, play what you feel like when you feel like it. Don't think about what you are doing or why, enjoy the gameplay, the artistry behind the stepfile, and enjoy the music.
When the game isn't fun for you anymore, take a break. It's not a job, nobody here is professional and getting paid to play and force themselves to constantly improve... it's a game.

Yeah, FFR is addicting...I don't think I'll get bored with this game unless I somehow become the best at it, which won't happen.
Ive heard about it on certain FAQ's but if you would give me the details on the room and gambits etc... I just might try that, and what level were you when you started leveling like crazy so I can not get destroyed XD right now my average level is like 55, and Vann is 65 ( Vaan is a pimp haha )
Ahh ok, I'll explain this in a little. I remember hearing about it from my friend, and then looked it up online after encountering him because I wasn't sure what to do. Umm my I was at level 40 with Vaan and 36 with the rest of them, and its really quite simple. I'm now at a 999 chain and LP is well over 1800. =)
haha alright cool, just need the room and Ill go level up my guys tommorow afternoon lol didnt think that square enix wouldn't consider a gambit spam thats hilarious hahaha
haha IGN is the greatest, I knew that I saw this FAQ somewhere haha, the strat scottish described with the gambit info and how to spawn the mob.... pretty much what your friend described with details and a Q and A section Looks detailed and recommendations are reasonable, gonna test it tommorow but if it worked for scottish, should work for me! Warning: Spoilers may be present depending on where you are in the game, I just took a quick look. If you dont want to ruin the game by auto leveling, just play normally. If your just sick of grinding well try it :
