FEAR's multiplayer has been released officially for free on the Internet!

Seems pretty interesting. I'm starting to download it right now Just remember to put your age as 17 or older.

Supposively you need to register on IE to get the email that sends your registration code. Wierd, I'll check that out right now. *Edit* I'm not sure exactly, but I tried to register on IE with the same email address, and it said that the email was already in use and, at that moment, it sent an email to it. Oh well, just do whatever works for you.

There's a torrent, so you won't need to wait 30 minutes just to start a 1 kb/s download on Fileplanet. It's still a 1.7 GB download :/

The torrent took a whole day for me. There was some kind of error but it still picked up peers.. but it went slooooow. You have to get a CD-Key to play the game which requires you to register full name, address, etc. Which I'm 100% sure you can fake. I registered with firefox BUT it did not take me to step 3. The registration went from Step 2 back to Step 1. Still got the E-mail.

I haven't tried it yet but I don't expect anything good. Last time I played F.E.A.R. online it was straight up mediocre deathmatch.
