Re: 360,ps3,revolution Wii Poll
This isn't really needed when we have a sticky on the PS3, Xbox360 and wii. But ohwell.
I won't buy any. My wishlist consists of:
Piano
Driving Lessons
Lots of music
More upgrades for my computer
Not a gaming console. -
Re: 360,ps3,revolution Wii Poll
I'll prolly end up getting a Wii because by the time they all come out, I will be living in an apartment with Jenna and will be poor, but not too poor for that cheapass thing.
Also, Jenna might play it with me because it's simple, so that's good.
I'd prolly rather get a PS3, though.
PS: You forgot to put "all" as a choice for Moogy.
PPS: It's not Revolution Wii. It's just Wii.So I've gone completely slack-ass and haven't done any work on creating games. =(
In less-depressing news, I got a job for an online business (which sells non-electronic games, of all things!) which has taught me a lot about marketing online and all that jazz.
So now I'm on Twitter @NoahWright.
And I write the blog for their website.
Plus I do cool programming in-house that you'll never see. =OComment

Re: 360, ps3, Wii Poll
I would get the wii because I go on their website and they are coming out with a super smash bros. melee 3 and it can play dvds you can download like a computer old n.e.s games and can play normal gamecube games and the new wii games and you can play wifi with out buying a wirless router or the nindo wifi usb connecter.there's nothing to fear well that is except for the giant alien behind that's about to penetrate your skull with great speed. but no besides that nothing at all.Comment

Re: 360, ps3, Wii Poll
Clarification:
1) Super Smash Brothers Brawl. The first one (for the Nintendo 64) was called Super Smash Brothers. The second one (for the Nintendo Gamecube) was called Super Smash Brothers Melee. The third one (for the Wii) is called Super Smash Brothers Brawl. There are no numbers.
2) DVD playback will likely require some kind of adaptor. Not a problem for me. Better to see DVDs on my computer with better resolution and 5.1 surround over a crappy 8-year old TV with monologue sound.
3) You have to pay for the Virtual Console. No prices set. No details confirmed. The only one is the VC controller, which is like a shorter and fatter SNES controller with analogue sticks. Also, it's not limited to NES games. They'll have NES, SNES, N64, Sega Genesis, and a few other consoles' popular games available for download.
4) Not confirmed about the wifi without router business. You have to be in a wifi-enabled area for that to work. I'm hoping for a broadband (wired) connection instead. Much more stable and easier to work with. I had purchased a wireless router last year just in case but it died on me without even being used. Yay.

The Wii will breed a new age of women gamers who play the Wii exlusively with "Rumble-Compatible" games.Comment

Re: 360, ps3, Wii Poll
I must say Wii, because it seems to be the only system not sucked into the "More HD space! Better Graphics!" thing that PS3 and 360 are into. Wii is about fun games, and that is what counts the most. You should value your education more than this crap of Flash Flash bull.Comment
