The NFS series has been around a lot longer too... i believe.

I like Burnout 2 the best.

I only liked NFS when it was sole racing - this whole tricking out your car thing is just idiocy.

Yeah, I got Burnout 3 yesterday for my lucky ducky PS2. It is the shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit, my man.

I got Burnout 3 instead of Revenge simply because my other e-friends told me that 3 is better.

they are both good the only thing i like better about revenge is u can hit traffic thast goin the same direction as you which is helpful other than that they are exactly the same

Burnout Revenge is the best racing game ever. Simply put it is the funnest and the sense of speed is amazing. I do like Need for Speed BECAUSE of the modding cars not 'cause of the gameplay. It's fun to detail your car and choose the parts for it. Although Burnout > NFS obviously. Also I think the reason that NFS is so popular is because they see movies like 2 Fast 2 Furious and shows like Pimp My Ride.

Need for Speed is fine for decent racing and interesting look cars. I like Burnout 3 more by far. Maybe it's the takedown mode which I love, maybe it's the crash mode, maybe it's the racing, or maybe it's the custom soundtracks. Both are made by EA. Just 2 different styles. Street racing v Carnage racing.

WHAT ABOUT THE AMAZING REALISM IN NFS GAMES

I mean, in NFS games, you don't brake then turn into the apex! You keep the gas flat down and crash right through the corner, just like in real life!

Actually, Burnout 3 is quite guilty of that too. But doing that totally blows and any good player can make a 90 degree turn into a 2-star drift.

I dare to you to play both games and tell me other wise. The very first 5 minutes I played BO3, I fell in love with the game why?

Because of simplicity.

I don't have to pimp out a car just to make it better for me to look at. I don't also have to have a ****in story as to WHY my car needs to be pimped out. I have races around the world than net me money, fame, and the occasional newspaper headline when things get hairy. Also combine the simple controls and the basic gist of trying to get to the end of the race intact while taking out other racers, BO3 is THE epitome of all racers. I mean that with every bone in my body. Only game that could even come CLOSE would probably be Initial D, but that's another story.
