Ive had a Madkatz controller for as long as ive had my x-box. Its wired, but the worst thing thats happened to it is the padding for one of my joysticks started tearing away. I can get pretty angry when I play too (IE slamming the controller to the floor and etc..). Its never broke on me and it has the longest cord ever (about 20 feet) Maybe mine is a special madkatz or they just tried harder on the x-box.
AAA's = 800

Manti, I apologize for insulting you. Let the record show that I am a prickass douche, and not only that, but that I am a terrible player.

That's nice. I had a Madkatz controller that stopped working in about a month of mild use. I took very good care of it (ie NOT slamming the controller on the floor, etc.). After it stopped working, I took it back to the store and got it replaced. The new one stopped working just as fast as the first one did.
I would suggest that you stear clear of Madkatz completely, if not all 3rd party companies. I would also suggest sticking with a corded controller because wireless is never as good, at least in any medium that I'm familiar with.
I bought the Madcatz NES controller (Retrocon). Oh yeah it's amazing, except that the right analog stick can't stay ****ing still. I ruined the damn thing opening it because the rubber on the back wouldn't come off so I then tried to jimmy in to the thing. I did fix it though and it's lasted longer than any Madcatz I've ever had. But anything early ps2 and down that I've owned that was MadCatz blew.
I had this amazing 3rd party controller for N64. It was two pronged so it looked like a regular controller. Someone stepped on it and broke it though. I loved that controller more than I loved the N64.
While we are talking about hardware I am looking for a larger memory card for my PS2 so I don't have the hassle of switching memory cards. Are then any cards actually bigger then 8MB which are combatible with all games and won't delete/corrupt my data at any point. Doesn't matter if it's one of those expanders or not.
