    Dynasty Tactics and Warriors

These games are awsome. Dynasty Tactics 2 is way better then DT (Becuase more tactics, and more girls to drool on :P) I need to try the game out. I heard you can play as lu bu's forces (Hopefully, becuase I'm getting sick of him in Cao Cao's forces. It doesn't allow Cao Cao to join teh fun with him without Cao Cao getting klled -_-)

Dynasty Warriors 4 Extreme Legends: Is it a rumor or a real game? I heard it's coming out but, I don't think it's happening. If it's happening, the day when the game comes out, I'm going to mob rush the game store.

ANybody made an accomplishment on any of the Dynasty Games?

DW4: Defeated over 5000 soldiers including officers in the Nanman Campaign with LU bu. Because like the energizer bunny, they keep going and going and going and going. It's infinity amounts of soldiers rushing at you when you're near the enemy camping grounds. DUring that Accomplishment, My army morale was almost to nothing -_-. Stupid climate.

DT1: Gotten almsot every soldier I can capture with Cao Cao's forces. I got everyone except people in Wu dynasty. I'm at war with them currently :P. Hopefully I can get Guan yu, Zhang fei, and Zhuge Liang.
Note: BY the way, the soldiers I listed in DT1 I want to get aren't in Shu. Liu Bei's forces joined up with Wu. And Liu bei is a general of Wu now.

This happened to me IRL while I was playing 2 player in DW4 with my friend, I ended up going into a 1 vs 1 with one of the enemies, I don't remember the name, but anyways, I won and after doing so, my friend realises that the person I defeated my father (In the game at least) and he says "Dude! You just killed your own father!" and the person I was playing as said "Yes! I did it!" XD it was just a hilarious moment that I still remember

These games are competing with the Madden franchise for most released copies of the same exact game. Bump for discussion.

I hope they don't do the same thing with Samurai Warriors, because I enjoy playing that game.

I've playe DW, but not DT. Can anybody tell me what DT is like, especially comapred to DW?
So I've gone completely slack-ass and haven't done any work on creating games. =(

In less-depressing news, I got a job for an online business (which sells non-electronic games, of all things!) which has taught me a lot about marketing online and all that jazz.

So now I'm on Twitter @NoahWright.
And I write the blog for their website.

Plus I do cool programming in-house that you'll never see. =O

              X is jump, actually.

You mash Square (with triangle sometimes) to win. =P

                Re: Dynasty Tactics and Warriors

Samurai Warriors is cool because it's more tactical and stuff. Only problem is that the castle missions or whatever are absolutely horrible. The levels were created by random generation, but they're the same every time when you play them XD

Dynasty Tactics is, as far as I can tell, a pretty dumbed down version of Tactics Ogre and the like. I rented it, though. It's pretty fun. I'd go with what Moogy says on it, though, because I don't know what I'm talking about when it comes to strategy games.

                  Re: Dynasty Tactics and Warriors

I actually really like DW4, though. I had only seen DW games just passing through, and I instantly knew it would be something. I had planned to get a DW game eventually and I was in the store one day and read on the back of the game box that you could ride an elephant and that did it for me. I will still load up DW4 sometimes and run around with a high level character in an early stage with an elephant and trample hundreds of enemies.

It's really cool to play as the person that is the guy who can't die (usually the main character whatever your army is) on hard mode so that you don't have to worry about protecting the leader and yourself since it's just you, and you let all your teammates die. It's so easy to get over 1000 kills that way. XD

I think it's especially fun with somebody playing with me too.

But will I get another DW game? Maybe for the next next generation consoles. Or maybe one of those expansion-like DW games (cuz they release the game, then a slightly better XTREME LEGENDS, then a slightly better something else) or something. I won't give Koei any more money for a whiiiile though.
