I'm dissapointed with myself for not updating this thread. I'll do it when I get home from school.
TEN DAYS LATER
Vash: have**!! It's could have, would have, should have. Not of. Typing of makes you look RETARDED.
So I've gone completely slack-ass and haven't done any work on creating games. =(
In less-depressing news, I got a job for an online business (which sells non-electronic games, of all things!) which has taught me a lot about marketing online and all that jazz.
Wait, wait, wait. I thought the PS3 can't backtrack because if its Blu-Ray system... Well I guess either way it will do well...
Except that the Blu-Ray discs are probably going to be like, $100 dollars each.
The Wii looks really difficult to manage because of its controller... I sure hope that the PS3 controller is much easier to manage with. Is it wireless? Is there going to be a wireless one?
One of the most important questions for me: Is there going to be a DDR game for it? Soon?
My entry into the 404 page contest is now apparently the official "not found" redirect for YTMND.com. I didn't even find out until a month after the fact...
PS2 was bad enough, PS3 is gonna be worse.
The only good thing about PS2 is all the DDR game and ITG.
Is that why the PS2 is the system with the highest amount of sold units
among this-gen consoles? 'Cuz it is. And therefore it does not suck.
What do you prefer, Xbox?

While I agree with your conclusion, I strongly disagree with how you reached it. Just because something sells a lot does NOT necessarily mean it's the best, or even that it doesn't suck.
I'll trade you this delicious doorstop for your crummy old danish.
Done, and done.

Well, if it's being sold succesfully all over the world chances are that since
it's being bought so much it probably doesn't suck. Or at least suckage is
minimal. While this isn't necessarily true, as seen by the Dreamcast, it is usually
an acurate measurment for the suckage of any given thing.
It was the only next gen console out for a year, guys. That helped its sales quite a bit. X-Box 360 will most likely outsell the PS3, if for no other reason than it was here first and will be much cheaper (especially by the time the PS3 is released).

Has Microsoft outsold the PS3 by now? Of course they have. Microsoft has had a one year jump on Sony. However, will Microsoft outsell Sony nay outsell Sony AND Nintendo? Hell no. Microsoft better suck it up for the next few months and hope thier games propel them because PS3 + Wii = not alot of sales of 360s in the near future.
The only reason why it sold so much, is because it had a good dvd player, and PS2 may have sold the most consoles, but the top 10 best selling games are almost all on Xbox and Gamecube.
The primary reason it sold so many units was because people had their original unit break down two years after they bought it and needed a new one lest their collection go to waste.
Nick off half of the PS2 units sold for a more practical estimate of how many people bought one.
