tru..ps3 is cooler looking than 260 and im still debating on whether to admit its better...but as long as yall admit it...microsoft (bill gates) is choosing stay in combat with sony..like sriously?? he could buy out sony if he wanted to..but why would he?? what would be the point of that. HYe likes having competition. i still love my 360.

I think their plan was to lose money with this system, if only to market blu-ray. I'm dead serious about this -- they'll literally LOSE money every time they sell a PS3, even at $600. The hardware costs astronomical amounts of money.

After UMD failed, they are again trying to market a new media format. This one is actually practical, able to hold 25 gigs. But, it's SONY DEVELOPED, so I'm not sure how reliable it can be. But hey, DVD DL can hold up to 8.5 gigs (less in an "actual" sense), and I'm perfectly fine with my ruby red laser burning my discs.

I am incredibly anti-Sony though. Shoddy products from them for years and they've never resolved that issue. And I would never pay $400 for a console, so the 360 is out of the question as well.

It's easy to shop for me.

I don't like sports games, I don't like racing games, and I don't like Halo. Any good game on this system will inevitably end up on PC.

There goes my reason for getting an Xbox 360.

Dynasty Warriors Empires - Never liked Dynasty Warriors
Geometry Wars Evolved - Have and got tired of a Geometry Wars lookalike
Saints Row - GTA ripoff
Perfect Dark Zero - Sucks horribly.
Battlefield 2 - Never heard of it; probably sucks
GRAW - Probably good from all the press I've heard but holds no interest for me
FarCry - Beat it although I don't know why as it was a terrible game
The Outfit - Never heard of it

I'm not saying it's only putting out bad games and that I just hate anything that shows up on the system, they just never play to my tastes. My tastes are for challenging and intellectual games, not "kill everything because you can" games.

If the 360 can entice me enough, I might get it. But so far, it looks like a heck of a lot of devs are signing on to Nintendo or at least pushing focus into that field in case it's a hit.

But back to PS3 news in this thread. Turns out it still sucks! More at 11.

BF2-Another generic FPS that is a hell of a lot better on the computer because you don't have to pay that extra $4 a month crap to play it online. Still a good game though IMO.

And that's possibly one of the few games that I would get for the 360 if I ever decided to get one.

I have yet to hear bad news about a Wii game aside from Red Steel, which isn't getting bad news at all. Just news that what they originally had planned wasn't working out so they're re-tweaking the controls.

Then again, EGM sucks, but since Red Steel is a mindless violence game (seemingly what EGM specializes in) I'll take their word for it.

It can.

It began on Gamecube. You know, the analogue joystick and all. Then it went to PS2 where it flopped. So now Sega has decided that only the control mechanism of the Wii is good enough for their sequel.

What I don't understand is WHY YOU DON'T POST IN THE WII THREAD ABOUT THIS.
