First of all.

Nice, eh? Yeah, those are in-game screens. Oh, and it's an MMORPG. Pretty good graphics for an MMO, don't you think?
You're probably thinking you have to have a super fast computer to run that. Except my modest Athlon 3000+, running a measly 9800 Pro, ran that maxed out and my framerate is flawless. And when I say maxed out, I really mean maxed out- as in, every single setting is at the highest it can go, at 1280x1024. Also, there's no lag, and NCSoft somehow managed to make it so the Guild Wars client streams everything in. No more disk swapping, no more deleting your music files to make room for your games- the install client is around 15 megs, I think? The areas range from around 1 Mb to 10 Mb each, and after the first time you download them, there's no load times.
Yes, you heard me. NO LOAD TIMES. It is literally near-instantaneous. You go into a new area, loading screen comes up, game comes up. Just like that.
EDIT: For those who won't believe me about the load times, I took the liberty of timing how long it took to get from desktop to gameplay. Keep in mind, this involves loading the game, logging in, selecting your character, connecting, and loading the level.
18.23 seconds (I used a stopwatch). Hoo yeah.
Then I timed how long it took to load three different areas. About ~3/4 seconds each time. That's fast as hell.
And uh, gameplay centers around PvP combat and social interaction, and strives to completely eliminate the EQ grind of endless tedium (ratkilling is no more).
Interested yet?
