In 2000, EA BIG released a snowboarding game that featured beautiful landscapes, insane mountain ramps, and spectacular tricks. The next SSX game was SSX: Tricky which was never a true sequel to SSX, but more of an expansion pack with more Tricks to pull off. In 2003, the true sequel to SSX, SSX 3, was the crown jewel of the series with 1000s of customizations, even more insane tricks, magnificent landscapes, the largest cast of characters in SSX franchise history, and the overall awesomeness that gained the spoot for Best Extreme Sports Game of 2003 by Gamepro magazine. After EA completed SSX 3, most people thought that it could never be topped.
Well, they're about to be wrong.
