If anyone owns Socom 2, then maybe we could get a FFR clan going. I'm not expecting much response hence it being a console game.

I sold Socom 1 because it sucks, I rented Socom 2 before I sold 1, 2 sucked just as bad, just play Counter-Strike- better graphics, maps, less cheaters, more people.

I have SOCOM 1. When I used to play it online, I was in one of the best clans in the game.
Sadly, since we got a home network, it's too much of a pain to disconnect the modem. So I won't be able to play anything online until I manage $100 and get a gaming adapter.

I loved Socom 1 played it ALL THE TIME. Had clan wars ALL THE TIME. It was awesome.

Ya I play socom 2, www.socomzone.com I'm in Clan Nuclear under the name of ~The Russian~. We came in 2nd last season in the playoffs. I don't play much anymore though.Comment

In Socom 1, It took 3 shots and you were dead. This is a bit more realistic, the mechanics are better, the maps are bigger, and there is 25k + on a day. The only problem is lag and a shitload of glitches.Comment

Don't tell me it's realistic. The whole reason I don't play is because it's NOT realistic. And in Socom 1 it wasn't exactly always 3 shots, it depends where you hit. I mean shit, I shot someone in the chest with an automatic rifle three times and he didn't die.. he shot me once with a desert eagle and I was dead. New weapons aren't all that great either (shotgun? pfft).. The maps are cool but that's about it.

There are hardly any glitches left at all on Socom 2, and maybe you just suck at it and didn't hit the guy, and with a .50 calibur bullet yes it's just a larger area, but that also mean more gun powder packed in the shell, causing it to carry more of a oomf or bang. You know, they do wear body armour, if you shoot a guy in the foot it does barely any damage. If you take three shots to the chest while you're wearing a kevlar vest it's most likely they wouldn't go through it, that's why they wear those ya know. No one takes a fucking shotgun seriously unless you're camping, and if you are you're gonna use the M3 12 Gauge cause it's automatic, if you were to use anything else you're probably just screwing around.Comment

Socom 3 is coming out in the fall.
There is still some glitches left, but not as much.
Rank up glitchers have diminished.
There is an international server.
A wide variety of weapons, and good controls.Comment
