I'm sorry if this is out of place, but there is no 'Writers Corner' or something like that, I would like to share this FanFic that I made. It's not completely done, but over 2/3 complete. If you guys like it, I'll post the rest once I'm finished with it.

Prologue: Review of History
In the start of 20XX, A two scientist named Dr. Light and Dr. Wily worked together to make 6 revolutionary humanoid robots. Dr. Wily then re-programmed the 6 robots so that he could use them to take over the world. Dr. Light’s other creation, Rock, volunteered to be changed into a combat robot in order to save the world. Thus, the first Mega Man was born. In the rest of the time of 20XX, Mega Man fought Dr. Wily again and again, each time defeating him. After Dr. Wily’s sixth defeat, he built a robot that was similar to Mega Man’s design, and he was named Bass. Mega Man and Bass then became bitter rivals…until near the end of the 20XX, where Bass finally figured out who was the true villain. They then fought Dr. Wily together, but Dr. Wily’s newest robot, Zero, which was a new type of robot called ‘Reploids’ quickly and effortlessly destroy both of the inferior robots. Dr. Wily was then free to take over the world, but, as fate would have it, a meteor from space hit the earth, exactly at Wily’s Base, Killing Wily and severely damaging Zero, and that damage erased much of his memory. Time passed, and in the start of 21XX Dr. Light’s blueprints of Reploids have been found, and Reploid research and development was soon under way. Then, Reploid production began, and the world was filled with robots that had true A.I.s, the ability to think and react for themselves. Soon after this, a Reploid scientist, Dr. Cain, found Zero, and gave him life once again. After a while, several Reploids thought that they were superior to humans, and attacked them. These Reploids were called ‘Irregulars’, and the ‘Irregular Hunters’ were made in order to destroy the rouge Reploids, and keep the peace. However, the Hunter’s leader, Sigma, who was a creation of Dr. Cain, became a ‘Irregular’ himself, and helped unify the ‘Irregulars’ making himself the commander of all of them. It was then they were known as Mavericks, and said to have a defect that made them think this way, and that defect was called the ‘Maverick Virus’. It was then that Dr. Cain found Dr. Light’s final creation, Mega Man X. Mega Man X, also called just ‘X’, then confronted Sigma and destroyed him. However, Sigma had the ‘Sigma Virus’ allowing to take over a Reploid’s body. The Mavericks wars continued all throughout 21XX, and the beginning of 22XX. Then, Sigma was defeated for good, but then, the ‘Elf Wars’ began, and lasted until 23XX. In between that time, a scientist named Dr. Ciel made a clone of X, in order to replace the aging original. This clone was known as ‘Copy-X’. Copy-X was just as strong as the original. However, it had trouble telling a Maverick from a regular Reploid. Also during this time, Zero mysteriously vanished. Copy-X then made ‘Neo Arcadia’, a place for humans to live in peace. The Neo Arcadian Government, along with Copy-X, started a campaign to destroy all Reploids, even those who were not Maverick, for fear that they would. Reploids then banded together to make the Resistance, led by Dr. Ciel, so that they could survive the Neo Arcadian Inquisition. The Resistance was on the brink of destruction when Dr. Ciel found Zero, and brought him back to life. Zero then battled against Neo Arcadia, and the Neo Arcadia War began.
The Neo Arcadian War lasted for awhile, but Copy-X was finally destroyed. Years after a new system of energy, the ‘Ciel Network’, was created, the people of Neo Arcadia made peace with the Reploids and then peace followed, but due to the wars of the past, much of Earth was in ruins. Centuries past, people and Reploids together tried to rebuild Earth. In the time of 19XXX, a new source of Energy has been found in outer space and brought to Earth for study. This new type of energy is ten-times more powerful than the previous strongest source of energy. This new type of energy is called ‘Novaium’. The time is now 20XXX, more than a thousands years from the age of the first Mega Man. Crime is high, and a new, dark evil regime is about to emerge. The world is still mostly in ruins. The world needs a new hero.
Chapter One: Dr. Montag’s Creation
In East City, lies a laboratory that belongs to a scientist named Dr. Montag. East City is plagued with crime, and 1/3 of the city is in ruins due the wars of the past. Dr. Montag specialized with Novaium Research, and studied the events of the past. He was 60 years old. His family was killed while some Reploid robbers came into his house and stole most of his work. The Reploids killed his wife and son, and he was a top member of the Government, and in charge of the ‘Project Nova’, and the plans for that project was what the Reploids who broke into his house wanted. Luckily, they didn’t steal anything of major importance. Dr. Montag studied the Mega Mans of the past, and built a Reploid body similar to Mega Man X. However, his body looked a little different, and the symbol on his helmet was a diamond, and Novaium powered his power core.
“Good…Mega Man Nova is about to wake up,” Dr. Montag said, “Our last hope is about to come into this hellish world.” Then Mega Man Nova’s eyes glowed red, and then backed to normal, and then his pod opened up.
“Where am I?” Nova said.
“You are Mega Man Nova,” Dr. Montag said, “The end result of ‘Project Nova’. I am Dr. Montag, one of your creators. The others were killed during strikes made by criminals in order to try and stop your production. The age is 20XXX, and the world is falling apart.”
“I feel…much power…” Nova said.
“That would be your Novaium Core,” Dr. Montag said, “It was the main thing that the criminals wanted…your Novaium. It’s the most powerful energy known to man and Reploid. With it, and given to someone who knows how to fight, they could be unbeatable. Many people gave up their lives so that you could fight for the future…a better future than this. Both Humans and Reploids made really dumb mistakes, and that’s what led to this era, but, with you, we hope we can set things straight,” Dr. Montag said, and then wept, “…my family also gave their life…”
“Who led the attack on your family?” Nova asked, “If I am to fix things, I better start here.”
“The gang leader of the Reploids here in East City is named ‘Dark Slasher’, he was made for war, but after all the wars, he had no purpose left, so he decided to make war. He has a blaster for one arm, and a heavy blade for the other. Most likely, he is hiding out with his gang members in the ruins of the city.”
“What are my weapons?” Nova asked Dr. Montag.
“You weapons are based after the weapons of the legendary heroes of the past. Your main weapon, the Nova Buster, is like the old Mega Buster, in that you can charge it, but it is much more powerful. You other weapon is that you can transform one of your arms into a plasma blade, and that is called the ‘Nova Saber’, based off the legendary Z-Saber.” Dr. Montag said, “But even though you have powerful weapons, do not underestimate your foes. Reploids nowadays are just as deadly as you are. Be careful, I don’t want my family’s sacrifice to be in vain.”
“I’ll be careful,” Nova said, “…and I’ll avenge your family.”
Chapter Two: Dark Slasher, the Veteran Warrior of Darkness
Nova dashed toward the ruin part of the city. “Show yourself, Dark Slasher!”
Upon hearing this, a Reploid with a mini-jet on its’ back, and a Homing Sniper for an arm came out of one of the ruins. “Who wants to see Master Dark Slasher?”
“Who are you?” Nova asked the Reploid.
“I am Dark Slasher’s bodyguard, Aero Sniper.”
“I am Mega Man Nova. I need to talk to Dark Slasher.”
“Mega Man Nova?” Aero Sniper said, “Hmm…you’re here to kill Dark Slasher, aren’t you?”
“I have no time for punks like you.” Nova said, “Get out of the way, or you will be destroyed.
“How dare you talk like that you one of Dark Slasher’s men! In case you haven’t noticed, my weapon is called the Homing Sniper, which was used back in the day of 20XX by Search Man! Of course, he couldn’t fly, which made him easy to defeat, but me, with the jet on my back, am able to fire the Homing Sniper from the air, making me unbeatable!” Aero Sniper said.
“Hmm…you stupid punk.” Nova said, “It’s because of people like you that the world is mostly like the ruins we are in right now. Give me your best shot.”
“Fine then!” Aero Sniper said, and then took off to the air, “Homing Sniper!” missiles then fired from Aero Sniper’s gun, and then were aimed for Nova.
“Now…” Nova was charging up power, “Nova Buster!” Nova then shot a blast of energy from his buster. The blast consumed the Homing Snipers, and continued toward Aero Sniper.
“No…I’m unbeatable!” Aero Sniper said stunned, and the blast hit him, and then Aero Sniper hit the ground, but was still alive.
“Well…I guess you’re not ‘unbeatable’ anymore.” Nova said and then walked up to the grounder Aero Sniper, and aimed his buster at Aero Sniper’s head.
“No! Please don’t kill me! Show mercy! If you let me live, I’ll follow you…” Aero Sniper was pleading to Nova.
“Show you mercy?” Nova said, “Did YOU show anyone mercy?” Nova then started to charge his buster, “…No.” Nova the fired his buster, and then the blast consumed Aero Sniper, and he exploded.
“Bravo, Bravo. And you took him down without much difficulty.” A mysterious Reploid in the shadows said, while clapping.
“Who are you?” Nova quickly turned around to face the new threat. And pointed his buster at the figure.
“I am who you wanted to see…Dark Slasher.” Dark Slasher then stepped out into the open, “I was impressed by your fight. C’mon, join me, and take Aero Sniper’s place as my bodyguard, and we could rule East City with an iron fist!”
“My answer to that…” Nova then started to charge up energy, “…Is no.” Hova then fired his buster at Dark Slasher.
“Fool.” Dark Slasher said, and then smirked. He then jumped in the air, and sliced the buster shot in two with his blade. “I’ve faced buster weapons a lot during my time on the battlefield. You’ll have to do better than that to kill me.”
“All right then,” Nova said and then transformed his right arm into the Nova Saber. “Let’s see how you handle this!”
“Good.” Dark Slasher said, and then gave an evil smile, “It has been awhile since I’ve had a real fight. I love to fight…to destroy…to kill. After all, that’s what I was created to do. I was part of many wars, even some here in East City, in the exact place we’re fighting right now. I live for fighting.”
“Okay then,” Nova said, “ Prepare to face the last fight of your pathetic life!” Nova then dashed toward Dark Slasher.
“So, it begins.” Dark Slasher said, and then dashed toward Nova. The two blades met each other, and there was a quick release of energy when the two blades hit each other, there was a blinding flash. The two fighters then tried to slash each other with their blades, but each blow hit the other and a blinding light occurred when it happened. “You’re tough.” Dark Slasher said, “But now tough enough!” Dark Slasher then jumped back, “Killer Dash!” Dark Slasher then dashed at Nova with blinding speed.
“Now is my chance…” Nova thought to himself, and moved out of the way, As soon as Dark Slasher pass by him, he slashed his back.
“AHH!” Dark Slasher screamed in pain, his back circuitry revealed from the slash Nova did.
“Now…it’s time for you to die!” Nova said, and then charged up his buster and fired it at Dark Slasher’s back. The shot went into Dark Slasher.
“No…This can’t be!” Dark Slasher said, and then he exploded.
“Dark Slasher is destroyed.” Nova looked at the burning rubbish that was once Dark Slasher, “Mission complete.” Nova then walked back to Dr. Montag’s lab.
“Did you defeat Dark Slasher?” Dr. Montag asked Nova when he returned.
“Yes…Your family has been avenged.” Nova said to Dr. Montag.
“Good…maybe now East City can be in peace…Nova, just because you destroyed Dark Slasher, it doesn’t mean that your mission is complete. The world is still in chaos, and is still near the brink of destruction. Your next move should be to head to Central City. There you will see the Capitol of the Government. They will help you find the source of this evil so that you can completely destroy it. It’s a 3-day journey to Central City from here. Be careful, and help anybody you see on the road while you go.”
“I will, Doctor.” Nova said, “I will help all those who need my help.” Nova then dashed off in the direction of Central City.
“I wish you luck…” Dr. Montag thought to himself, “…You may need it. You’re the world’s final hope…”
Chapter Three: The Weapon Specialist
Mega Man Nova continued down the path to Central City, and the path went through an old town named ‘Techno Town’. Techno Town was once a very successful town, with laboratories devoted to new types of weapons. However, a wave of crime took over the city, and stole the prototype weapons so that they could use them. Most of the town is in ruins, but there are still some functional laboratories there.
“Hmm…this place seems deserted…” Nova thought to himself when he entered the village. Then some Reploid with a regular buster weapon jumped out in front of Nova.
“Give me all your money, or else!” The Reploid said, pointing his buster at Nova.
“You got to be joking.” Nova said. “You can’t hurt me.”
“I’ll show you the power of one of Thunder Striker’s men!” The Reploid said and fired his buster.
“I can’t stand you stupid punks.” Nova said, and then charged up his buster, and then fired his buster, and Nova’s buster blast consumed the other buster shot, and the Reploid who fired it. “Hmm…It sounds like another gang is in this town…and it sounds like this ‘Thunder Striker’ is their leader. Dr. Montag wanted me to help all those who was in my way while I went to Central City…It seems like I’ll make a stop here.” Nova then went around the town to see if there was a working laboratory. Nova then walked into a lab that had its’ lights on. “Is anybody here?” Nova asked aloud.
“Who…who are you?” A scientist came out from the other room of the lab, “You’re with Thunder Striker, aren’t you? You’re here for my weapons. You people already took everything from me, so I don’t care any more! I don’t care whether I live or die!”
“Wait! I’m Mega Man Nova, made in order to help the people of this world. Who are you? What did Thunder Striker take from you? Your life’s work?”
“I am the Main Weapons Specialist of Techno Town, Dr. Beatty. Thunder Striker didn’t take my weapons, no, he took something of much higher importance. Because I didn’t want to make weapons for him, he kidnapped my daughter, Kate, for ransom.”
“That’s terrible!” Nova said, “Well, I won’t stand for this! Tell me where Thunder Striker is so that I may rescue your daughter.”
“Thank you…” Dr. Beatty said, “…Thunder Striker would be in the center of town, he made his own base there.”
“Thanks for the information.” Nova said, “Don’t worry, I’ll make sure I’ll bring back your daughter alive.”
“Before you go,” Dr. Beatty said, “I give you something to help you. It’s something that Thunder Striker stole my daughter to get. It’s the legendary Mega Man’s ability to gain an enemy weapon once the enemy has been destroyed. Have you destroyed any Reploids yet that had a special attack?”
“Yes, I’ve destroyed two, Aero Sniper and Dark Slasher. Aero Sniper special weapon was the Homing Sniper, and I think Dark Slasher’s special move was his ‘Killer Dash’ he tried on me.
“When I download the data into your CPU, you will be able to do both of those moves, and if you destroy Thunder Striker, you will be able to do his move, the ‘Dynamo Strike’. Dr. Beatty then connected Nova to a machine, and then the ‘Copy Weapon’ program was downloaded. “Use those moves against Thunder Striker.” Dr. Beatty said, “He won’t go down without a though fight.”
“Thank you.” Nova said, “I promise…I will reunite you with your daughter.”
Chapter Four: Thunder Striker, The Evil Warrior of Thunder
Nova went into Thunder Striker’s base. “Come out, Thunder Striker! And show to me that Kate is alive!”
“Hmm…How do you know about Kate?” A Reploid said from the shadows, and then stepped out into the open. This Reploid had a very muscular shape and a dynamo for an arm, and an eye-patch over his right eye. “Did Dr. Beatty sent you?”
“First, show me that Kate is still alive!”
“Fine, You can have your wish.” The Reploid then brought out a girl who was tied up. “This is Kate. She’s still alive, only knocked out.”
“So, I presume you are Thunder Striker?” Nova said.
“Yes, I am.” Thunder Striker said, “And who might you be?”
“I am here to take back Kate, and to save this town from the likes of you. I am Mega Man Nova.”
“Mega Man Nova?” Thunder Striker asked, “I’ve heard about you. You’re the end result of that ‘Project Nova’. I’ve also heard that you killed Dark Slasher. I was going to do that. My gang and his gang are rival gangs. He was the person who made me wear this eye-patch. But that was a long time ago. Now, I’m stronger. However, Since you defeated Dark Slasher, you must be strong yourself. How about if you…”
“If you’re about to ask me to join you, the answer’s no. I rather die that join junk like you.” Nova said, “Now, give me Kate, or you’ll regret it.”
“So, you think you can defeat me?” Thunder Striker said, “You got to be joking me. I’ll tell you what. Defeat me, and you can have Kate.”
“Okay.” Nova said, “You just a punk. Homing Sniper!” Missiles then fired out of Nova’s buster and hit Thunder Striker.
“Not bad,” Thunder Striker said, “But it will take more than that attack to kill me! Dynamo Strike!” He then charged up his Dynamo, and then unleashed a huge blast of Electricity. The Blast was as fast as the speed of sound, and Nova had no time to dodge.
“AHH!” Nova cried out in pain.
“I can’t believe you destroyed Dark Slasher, while I’m making you look weak!” Thunder Striker said, “No one can dodge my Dynamo Strike!”
“Dr. Montag warned me not to underestimate my opponent…” Nova said, “And I will not make that mistake again!”
“It doesn’t matter! You’re about to be dead! Dynamo Strike!” Thunder Striker then did this attack again, but prior to this, Nova charged up his buster and fired, and the two blasts hit each other and counteracted each other. “Hmm…maybe it was me who underestimated you…”
“It seems we’re equal powerful…” Nova said, “But I have Novaium!”
“I do too.” Thunder Striker said.
“What?” Nova asked.
“Dr. Beatty didn’t tell you, didn’t he? He didn’t tell you who created me. It was Dr. Beatty himself. I was suppose to be like you, help people, but then I realized that they are inferior to me!”
“You…you Maverick! You even betrayed your own creator?” Nova said.
“When you have Novaium, you are superior to everyone. My law I live by is, ‘The weak die, the Strong survive.’ I’m strong, and my creator is weak.”
“I’ll never use my Novaium for evil!” Nova said, “I will destroy you!”
“You fool. You don’t know yet how to fully use your Novaium. Though, I don’t either, but I know how to use it better than you!”
“That’s it.” Nova said, “I had enough.” Nova’s right arm then turned into a dark blade. “Killer Dash!”
“No!” Thunder Striker said to himself, “This is Dark Slasher’s move! The same one that destroyed my right eye!”
“Now!” Nova said, and dashed at Thunder Striker at blinding speeds, “You will pay for betraying your creator!” Nova successful did the attack, and severely damaged Thunder Striker’s left eye.
“No! Not my left eye!” Thunder Striker said to himself “Curse you, Dark Slasher! Even in death you continue to haunt me!”
“Now prepare to meet your rival in hell!” Nova said, and the charged up his buster, and fired. The blast consumed Thunder Striker, and he exploded. Nova then took Kate and went back to Dr. Beatty’s lab.
“Oh thank you, Nova!” Dr. Beatty said, “You rescued my daughter! How can I ever repay you?”
“You already did.” Nova said to the doctor, “You gave me the ‘Copy Weapon’ program, and that in the end helped me defeat Thunder Striker. Now, I must be on my way to Central City. I hope you have a good life, Dr. Beatty. Farewell.” Nova then dashed off to the trail that leads to Central City…
Chapter Five: The New Threat
After one more day of traveling, Mega Man Nova finally reached Central City. Central City is the only major city that has been completely rebuilt. Central City does have crime, but it’s not as bad as other towns and villages. It’s the Capitol of Neo Empire, the new world order that was set up after Neo Arcadia failed. Even though it has ‘Empire’ in it, it’s still a democracy. The Neo Empire is not anti-Reploid and is trying to make peace. However, factions against Neo Empire, and the growing rate of crime, are making that nearly impossible. Further more, the Neo Empire has a weak army. Mega Man Nova is their final hope.
“Well, I made it.” Nova said to himself when he entered the city, “Central City. Man, this city is huge! Okay, Dr. Montag wanted me to go to the Government Capitol.” So, Nova went throughout the city and finally found the Government Capitol.
“Halt, who are you?” One of the guards at the main gate asked, “You better not be here to cause trouble…”
“Relax. I’m Mega Man Nova, the end result of ‘Project Nova’. I was sent by Dr. Montag.”
“Nova? Good…at least something good happened for once. The Neo Empire Council would like to see you. I’ll escort you.” The guard then escorted Nova to a big room, with people siting all around a central table. Some of the people there were Reploids while others were humans. “Neo Empire Council! I bring to you, Mega Man Nova!”
“Good.” One gentleman said, “It seems ‘Project Nova’ saw a successful end. Hello, Nova, I am Alexander Ross, the head of the Neo Empire Council.”
“Good to meet you, Mr. Ross.” Nova said, “So, Dr. Montag said that maybe you could help me understand what the main evil faction is.”
“Yes, I can tell you,” Mr. Ross said, “The main faction is called ‘The Black Regime’. A scientist named Dr. Victor W. Dander leads it. It is believed that Dr. Dander is a descendant of the famous Mad Scientist, Dr. Wily. Dr. Dander specializes in making Reploids built for war, and we believed he built at least 6 elite models. One of those models, Rapid Assassin, is after our Novaium Specialist, Dr. Clarisse L. Lane. We were thinking of having our troops protect her, but they would be destroyed easily by Rapid Assassin. Rapid Assassin is assigned an important Government Official from Dr. Dander, and then he goes out and kills them. He has already killed 10 Government Official, and moves so fast, and so lethal, all of our troops that fought him were destroyed. But now that you’re here, you can protect Dr. Lane, and make sure that she doesn’t die, and that her Novaium doesn’t fall into the wrong hands.”
“I would be glad to accept this mission.” Nova said, “I cannot forgive people who killed another, and those people must be brought to justice!”
“Good,” Mr. Ross said, “I will now introduce you to Dr. Lane.” Then a female who looked like she was in her teens, with really long red hair in a ponytail walked into the room.
“Hello, Mega Man Nova.” The woman said, “I am Dr. Lane.”
“You can just call me Nova.” Nova said, “Don’t worry Dr. Lane, you’re in safe hands with me, I’ll make sure nothing happens to you.”
“Thank you, Nova, I can’t tell you how afraid I was about knowing that Rapid Assassin was after me, but I heard you took down Dark Slasher, and Thunder Striker, so you must be powerful enough to stop Rapid Assassin!”
“Man, News around here flies around here quickly…” Nova thought to himself.
“Okay then,” Mr. Ross said, “Dr. Lane will be in her Lab, and Nova, you keep a close watch on her and her lab. Rapid Assassin is a tricky robot, so be on guard.”
“Yes, sir!” Nova and then saluted Mr. Ross.
Chapter Six: Rapid Assassin, the Quick Killer
Mega Man Nova was stationed in front of the only entrance to Dr. Lane’s lab. It was 1:00 AM, and it was pitch black. Dr. Lane’s lab was not far from the Government Capitol, but far enough if Rapid Assassin attacked the lab, back-up would not reach there in time.
“Hmm…this is about the ideal time for Rapid Assassin to strike,” Nova said to himself, “I wonder if he’ll try to do something tonight, or maybe he’ll try next night…or maybe the next after that. But, no matter, I will face him and destroy him!” Nova then stood outside the lab for some more. 1:30 AM, Nova was then walking around the lab, making sure that Rapid Assassin wasn’t going to try and enter though the back somehow. 2:00 AM, Nova was just standing outside the entrance again, and he seemed bored. But he knew that protecting Dr. Lane was important, and he can not sleep on the job. 2:05 AM. An explosion occurs, and then, a scream. “Shoot!” Nova said, “He must of known I was hear, and blew up the outer wall to get in!” Nova then dashed inside a hurried to where he heard the scream, when he got there, he saw a Reploid who had a machine gun buster for an arm, a helmet with shades, had tiny jets on his legs, and he was carrying a large sack that was squirming. Nova then pointed his buster at the Reploid. “Who are you?” Nova said the Reploid, “And what is in that sack?”
“The thing that’s in my sack is Dr. Lane,” The Reploid said, “And I am Rapid Assassin, one of the Elite Models of the Black Regime.”
“What?” Nova was shocked, “I thought you were here to kill Dr. Lane, not kidnap her!”
“Well, it seems my creator, Dr. Dander, want her alive, because she know the secret of Novaium. If he wanted her dead, she would have already been dead, and me gone by the time you got here.”
“Let her go.” Nova said, “I am Mega Man Nova, and I was assigned to kill you, Rapid Assassin!”
“So, ‘Project Nova’ was a success? Hmm…I thought one of our associates, Dark Slasher, said he stopped it.”
“Dark Slasher was made by Dr. Dander?”
“No, he wasn’t. He is inferior compared to Dr. Dander’s Elite Models.” Rapid Assassin said, and then dropped the sack that contained Dr. Lane, “I heard that you were supposed to be good at fighting. It’s been awhile since I’ve had a good rival. And I also heard that you have the ‘Copy Weapon’ program installed. In that case, if you defeat me, you get my ‘Rapid Buster’. It’s basically a machine gun, capable of firing a lot of buster shots in a small amount of time, and each buster shot has the power of one buster shot that was half way charged. It’s a really lethal weapon, perfect for me. That’s why I’m called Rapid Assassin.”
“Hmm…your weapon does sound good, but it can’t beat my charged up Nova Buster!” Nova then charged up his buster and fired it at Rapid Assassin.
“Fool.” Rapid Assassin said, and then used the jets on his legs to move really fast, and dodge the blast. “Thanks to my speed, your attacks can’t hit me! You would have to have an attack that could move that the speed of sound to hit me!”
“That’s good.” Nova said, “Because I just got one yesterday!” Nova’s right arm then transformed into a dynamo, “Now face, the Dynamo Strike!” The blast of electricity moved so fast, that it hit Rapid Assassin.
“No!” Rapid Assassin was stunned, “That’s no way that there’s an attack faster than me! Fine then, time to take this up a notch!” Rapid Assassin then started to jet toward Nova, “Rapid Buster!” his Rapid Buster then fired at Nova. Nova was able to get out of the way, but not before some of the buster shots hit him.
“Ouch!” Nova said, “You’re right! That is a painful weapon.”
“This time you won’t get lucky!” Rapid Assassin said, and then made a turn so that he was coming after Nova again. “Rapid Buster!” Instead of moving this time, Nova fired the Dynamo Strike, and the attack counteracted each buster shot, and hit Rapid Assassin. “No!” Rapid assassin said and then his jets broke. “How could one of Dr. Dander’s Elite Models be defeated?”
“Because you are evil.” Nova said, and then charged up the Nova Buster and fired. Rapid Assassin, who knew he was already beaten, did not attempt to move out of the way, and the blast consumed him, and then he exploded.
“Rapid Assassin…destroyed. Gained ‘Rapid Buster’.” Nova said out load, not knowing that he did. And then he got Dr. Lane out of the sack. “Are you okay, Dr. Lane?”
“Yes, I’m fine.” Dr. Lane said, “For a moment there, I thought I was a goner!”
“Hmm… If Rapid Assassin was this tough,” Nova thought to himself, “I wonder how tough the other Elite Models are, and what are their powers?”
Chapter Seven: The Robot Museum
“Good job, destroying Rapid Assassin,” Mr. Ross said to Nova, on the next day, “You saved Dr. Lane’s life.”
“It was my duty,” Nova said, “I can’t let any other people or Reploid die.”
“True,” Mr. Ross said, “But good work nevertheless. We called you here because we pinpointed the location of another Elite Model.”
“Who is it this time?” Nova asked.
“This Elite Model know as Clone Attacker. He is able to make clones off himself in order to overwhelm his opponent. He’s much like the old Gemini Man, but more improved, and can make up to 10 Clones, instead of two.”
“What is his target?” Nova asked.
“Well, he pinpointed him to West City. As the name suggests, West City is west from here. We believe is going to try and rob the Robot Museum there. That Robot Museum hosts the bodies of the Sinister Six, Fire Man, Ice Man, Guts Man, Cut Man, Bomb Man, and Elec Man. We believe that Dr. Dander wants these bodies so that he can revive them, and create more deadly robots.”
“Well, I know what that means. You are assigning me to go to the Robot Museum and confront Clone Attacker.”
“Yes,” Mr. Ross said, “However, I don’t believe that Clone Attacker will be a problem for you.”
“I don’t know,” Nova said, “If Rapid Assassin didn’t want to kidnap Dr. Lane, she would have been dead by the time I got to her. I have a feeling that we should not underestimate the Elite Models.”
Mega Man Nova was then assigned to go to West City, in order to destroy Clone Attacker. West City was almost as nice as Central City, and only a small amount of it was still in ruins. The Robot Museum was in the center of town. This town has said to be under the watch of a mysterious hero.
“So, this is West City,” Nova said to himself when we entered, “Now to go to the Robot Museum, and wait for Clone Attacker.” Nova then went inside the Robot Museum, and looked what that they had. The Robot Museum had Wax Statues of All of the Robot Masters, and of Dr. Light and Dr. Wily.
“So, this is Dr. Wily,” Nova said to himself when he saw the statue, “Man, this guy is screaming ‘Mad Scientist!’” Nova then moved on and saw the Wax Stature of the Legendary Mega Man. “So, the first Mega Man looked like this,” Nova thought to himself, “I’m not that much different.” When he was walking through the Museum he encountered a robot what had a red helmet with shades, and a yellow scarf.
“Hey, you!” the robot said to Nova, “You look just like Mega Man!”
“That’s because I’m Mega Man Nova.”
“Mega Man Nova?” The robot said, and then smirked.
“And who might you be?” Nova asked the robot.
“I don’t think I’m going to tell you right now,” the robot said, “See ya later…Mega Man.” He then teleported away.
“Hmm…I wonder who that guy was…” Nova thought.
Chapter Eight: Clone Attacker, the One Reploid Army
Mega Man Nova stayed in the Robot Museum after closing hours, waiting for Clone Attacker to appear.
“Hmm…this reminds me of the night I faced Rapid Assassin…waiting for my opponent to make the first move.” Nova thought. He also was trying to come up with a way that he could attack 10 Reploids at once. Then, an explosion occurred. “That’s my cue!” Nova said to himself, and then dashed to where the explosion happened.
“Hey, who’s there!” A Reploid asked Nova, when he came into the room.
“I’m Mega Man Nova, and I guess that you’re Clone Attacker!”
“Yes, I am.” The Reploid said, “I am Clone Attacker, one of the Elite Models. Here to rob from the Robot Museum…I heard that you destroyed Rapid Assassin. I will now avenge my comrade!” Clone Attacker then split into 10 Reploids each with a Buster weapon. “Now, die!” The Clones fired their weapons, and Nova managed to dodge some, but most hit him, due to the shot coming from different angles.
“Shoot!” Nova said, “I can’t dodge those shots quite easily.” It was then that whistling was heard.
“Uh? Who’s whistling?” one of Clone Attacker’s clone asked, and then a robot teleported in the Museum.
“You…you are that guy I met before in the Museum!” Nova said to the robot who had just teleported in.
“Looks like you need my help…Mega Man.” The robot said. “…Just like old times.”
“What are you talking about?” Nova said the robot, confused.
“Hmm…It seems I have another opponent,” one of Clone Attacker’s Clone said. “No matter. You will all perish!” The clones then fired their buster again.
“Mega Man! Stay behind me!” the robot said, and then used the shield he carried to protect him and Nova from the Buster shots.
“Thanks!” Nova said.
“No problem, Mega Man,” The robot said, “Now let’s take out the trash!” He then charged up his buster and mowed out one of the clones, but another clone took its place.
“Ha!” one of the clones said, “As long as it wasn’t the original you hurt, another clone can take the place of the fallen one!”
“All right then, I’ll attack all of the clones at the same time with the ‘Rapid Buster’!” Nova said, and then his buster charged up and then his buster fired very rapidly, attacking all of the clones.
“Ha!” The clones said, and then the clones disappeared when the real Clone Attacker was hurt.
“Now to finish this.” Nova said and charged up his Nova Buster and fired.
“No!” Clone Attacker said, and then was consumed by the blast and then exploded.
“Clone Attacker…Destroyed. Gained ‘Clone Copy’.” Nova said, and then turned to the robot, “Thank you for you help. That fight would have been a lot more harder if you didn’t help.”
“You don’t need to thank me.” The robot said.
“Say…who are you?”
“Ya know, The history books never said what ever happened to Proto Man.” The robot said, and then smirked, “I’ll see you again…Mega Man.” And then the robot teleported away.
“Hmm…That guy is so mysterious…who is he?”
Chapter Nine: The Challenge
“Nice Work,” Mr. Ross told Nova, when he returned to Central City, “Not only was the exhibits at the Robot Museum were saved, but you also destroyer another Elite Model, Clone Attacker!”
“Yeah, but I had some help.” Nova said. “So, I guess you called here because you found another Elite Model.”
“Well…it’s not we who found the Elite Model, it was the Elite Model who found us, and gave us this message.” Mr. Ross said, and then pressed a button. A video scene popped out of the wall, and it turned on, and the figure on the screen was a Reploid. This Reploid had an electric sword for one arm, and the other arm with a shield built on it.
“Hello, Mega Man Nova,” The Reploid on the scene said, “…and the vermin of the Neo Empire Council. I am Noble Knight, one of the Elite Models. I send a message from my creator, Dr. Victor Dander and myself. First, Dr. Dander wants to tell the Council that their days are numbered. Even though you send Mega Man Nova to do your dirty work, it will not save you demons from the fate you deserve. True, Rapid Assassin’s and Clone Attacker’s destruction delayed us a little, the Black Regime can never be destroyed. And now for my message to Mega Man Nova. Nova, you are truly an elite Reploid, but you are fighting on the wrong side. You should know the sins that the Council committed. I want to meet you, at the Subway Station at West City. I know you’re familiar with West City, after all that’s where you destroyed Clone Attacker. I’ll meet you there at midnight, tomorrow. Good day, Mega Man Nova, I look forward to our meeting.” Then the screen turned off.
“So, the next Elite Model I’ll face is Noble Knight.” Nova said, “I don’t believe anything that Noble Knight said. You guys are the good guys, and we works for Dr. Dander, who is evil.”
“That’s right.” Mr. Ross said, “Noble Knight has been brainwashed with all types of crazy ideas from Dr. Dander. But, still, Noble Knight is a tough Reploid. It is said that some of Knight Man’s program has been installed in Noble Knight, and he was one of the finalists of the World Robot Fighting Tournament back in 20XX. Be on guard, and don’t take him lightly.”
“I’ll be careful.” Nova said, “I’ve learned not to take my enemy to lightly. Plus, with all the weapons I’ve got from everyone I’ve defeated, he won’t defeat me.”
“I hope he doesn’t,” Mr. Ross said, “You should leave for West City now. You already know how to get there. I wish you good luck, Mega Man Nova.”
Chapter Ten: Noble Knight, and the Midnight Meeting
After receiving Noble Knight’s message, Mega Man Nova agreed to his demands and went to the subway in West City. He arrived there at 11:50 PM.
“Only ten more minutes…” Nova said to himself while looking at the clock, “I only hope that I can end this meeting with a peaceful note…” Nova then waited there, waited for the next Elite Model he would encounter, Noble Knight. Nova was alone in the station…until the time was 12:00AM…and then a train pulled in, and only one passenger on it. The doors to the train opened, and Noble Knight walked out. The train then left the station.
“Hello, Mega Man Nova,” Noble Knight said, “Before you ask, that was a train made by Dr. Dander, and the person who was driving it was another Elite Model, Fire Incinerator. Now then, let’s get to business.”
“Yes,” Nova said, and then pointed his Nova Buster at Noble Knight in self-defense, “Let’s get this over with.”
“I’m don’t plan to fight you.” Noble Knight said, “Only to tell you about the goals of the Black Regime.”
“I know that the Black Regime is evil! You guys killed people and tried to steal things and also tried to kidnap people!”
“It’s a shame you view us that way. The Black Regime is only doing steps that will make us rise to power. Once we rule, we are going to make Earth into a paradise! Look around you, Nova. The world is in ruins and on the brink of destruction. All this is due to wars and unrest among the masses. Governments were too soft on the people, and let the people to rebel, and that’s what led to the worlds that left our world in ruins! The world was once a utopia, but then was destroyed by conflict. Dr. Dander will make sure no one will oppose him, and lead us on the road to paradise. When I fight, I don’t do it for Dr. Dander, but for his ideas. His ideas will save this world, and once again turn Earth into a paradise.”
“It’s a shame that a Reploid like you has been brainwashed by evil…” Nova said, “Dr. Dander is evil! Can’t you see that?”
“You’re the one who has been brainwashed.” Noble Knight said, “Did the Neo Empire even tell you of Dr. Dander’s past? No…of course not. The Neo Empire just told you that he was evil, and a threat, and ordered you to kill him. Dr. Dander wants the best, and he knows the Neo Empire is corrupted, both inside, and in its ways. You haven’t been in this world long enough to truly make out good from evil.”
“Then why is it called the ‘Black Regime’?”
“That’s the name that Neo Empire tagged on to us, to make us look evil. They even went far enough to say that Dr. Dander was a relative of Dr. Wily! We have to do the things that we do, since they made us look evil. Before you fire that Buster of yours again, think about what the true evil here is…” Noble Knight said, and then the train returned, “I’ll see you again, Mega Man Nova, and hopefully then, we can exit together as allies…” He then entered the train and the train left.
Chapter Eleven: Dr. Dander’s past
That midnight meeting with Noble Knight made Mega Man Nova think. What was Dr. Dander’s past? Was he good? What did Noble Knight mean when he said that the Neo Empire was corrupted? All of these questions were flying around Mega Man Nova’s head. Later, He appeared before the Neo Empire Council.
“Yes, Nova?” Mr. Ross said, “What do you have to ask us?”
“Well, Mr. Ross,” Nova said, “I would like to request permission to see Dr. Dander’s past records. After my meeting with Noble Knight, I believe I need to know his past and what he did.”
“Very well,” Mr. Ross said, “Use the Information Archives, which is in this city. The password to enter it is ‘L-I-G-H-T’.
“Light?”
“It is that so that we can always remember the great Dr. Light, and all the things he has done to try and keep the world at peace.”
“Thank you, sir.” Nova said, saluted Mr. Ross, and then was on his way to the Information Archives.
Nova then entered the Information Archives, and searched for “Dr. Dander”.
“Hmm…not that much here…” Nova said to himself, while he continued to search, “Let’s see…Ah! Here is the file!”

Biography: Dr. Dander was born in North City, and his parents were Michelle Dander and Roger Dander, both were scientists working for the Neo Empire. Like Victor Dander, they too specialized in making Combat Reploids. A Reploid killed his mother and father that was part of a Revolution against the state near the end of 19XXX. The Neo Empire then cared for Victor Dander. At age 49 he began to work for the Neo Empire. After failing in his attempt at taking over the Neo Empire with a very violent revolt, in which there was 100 casualties, He was fired and sentenced for life in jail. However, he broke out of jail, and his location now is unknown. However, the Neo Empire Recon Team found out all six of his latest “Elite Models.”

“So, Heavy Crusher and Rocket Destroyer are the other Elite Models…” Nova said to himself, “Hmm…now I have evidence to show to Noble Knight to show him that Dr. Dander is evil! Maybe I can save him from evil…”
Chapter Twelve: Noble Knight’s Fate
The next night, Mega Man Nova went to the West City Subway Station in hope we would meet Noble Knight there again. He also brought a printed out copy of Dr. Dander’s file to show Noble Knight.
“He should be here at midnight,” Nova said to himself, “That’s when he always comes here.” And so, Nova waited until midnight, and then Noble Knight teleported in.
“Hello, Mega Man Nova,” Noble Knight said, “Have you finally come to the realization of who the real evil is?”
“Yes, I have, Noble Knight, and the real evil is Dr. Victor Dander!” Nova said,
“Really? Such a shame…because now you have to die!” Noble Knight said, and then dashed toward Nova.
“I don’t think so!” Nova said, and then fired his Nova Buster at Noble Knight.
“Fool.” Noble Knight then put up his shield, and the Buster Shot bounced off the shield, and back at Nova, “My Knight Shield will bounce your attack right back at you!”
“I don’t want to destroy you!” Nova said, “I want to open your eyes!”
“What do you mean? Is this a dirty trick?”
“No, it’s not.” Nova then handed Noble Knight the file on Dr. Dander
“No…this can’t be right!” Noble Knight said after reading the file, “Dr. Dander never told me that he had a violent revolt against the Neo Empire, nor that he killed anyone offensively! I thought that the only one in the Black Regime that ever killed was Rapid Assassin! No…all that I fought for was for some evil man?”
“You can repent, Noble Knight. When I looked at you, I knew you were different from the other Elite Models. Help me destroy the other Elite Models, and then defeat Dr. Dander and his Black Regime!”
“You’re right…” Noble Knight said, “The only thing I can do now is to repent for actions. I will destroy the other Elite Models!” Just then, another Reploid teleported in.
“It’s sad to see that you defected from us.” The Reploid said. He had a larger than average buster, was red in color, and was taller than an ordinary Reploid. “I am Fire Incinerator, one of Dr. Dander’s Elite Models. And I’m here to destroy Noble Knight for betraying Dr. Dander.”
“You’ll have to go through me first!” Nova said, pointing his buster at Fire Incinerator.
“No, Nova.” Noble Knight said, “This is my fight. I need to repent for my sins.”
“Hmm…Dr. Dander made me the one to watch over you, Noble Knight, because he was the only one that he needed to lie too in order for you to work for him.” Fire Incinerator said, “And my attack will kill you in one blow!”
“Bring in on, you scum.” Noble Knight said, and then put his shield up, “You know my Knight Shield can defect you attack!”
“No, it can’t. Lava Burner!” Fire Incinerator then fired a huge ball of lava at Noble Knight. The lava burned right through the Knight Shield, and right through Noble Knight.
“No…I can’t die now…” Noble Knight said while he fell to the ground.
“No! Noble Knight!” Nova said, and then turned toward Fire Incinerator, “You will pay for that…”
“I’m afraid it will have to wait.” Fire Incinerator said, “I’ve completed my mission, and must return to base. We will fight later, Mega Man Nova.” He then teleported away.
“Nova…” The dying Noble Knight said, “Finish me…If you do, you gain my ‘Knight Shield’, and then a part of my soul will be with you, so that I can repent for my sins…Do it now…or else my soul will be lost forever…”
“All right then…” Nova said, and then charged up his Nova Buster and fired it at Noble Knight.
“May you overcome the darkness…” Noble Knight said while being consumed by the blast. Afterwards, the remains of Noble Knight blew up.
“Noble Knight…destroyed. Gained ‘Knight Shield’.” Nova said, “No…NOBLE KNIGHT!!!” Nova yelled out his name, and then raised his fist in the air and wept…
Chapter Thirteen: Seeking Revenge
After the night of Noble Knight’s death, Mega Man Nova went back to Central City and appeared before the Neo Empire Council.
“Yes, Nova?” Mr. Ross asked Nova, “Why have you asked to see us?”
“Noble Knight betrayed Dr. Dander to join us,” Nova said, “But Fire Incinerator killed him right after that. Noble Knight needs to be revenged!”
“Yes, we were aware of what happened to Noble Knight,” Mr. Ross said, “But we think that it’s fool less to go out blindly looking for revenge! If you do go out and look for Fire Incinerator for vengeance, you may open up a weak point for him to attack! You must calm down!”
“I can’t clam down!” Nova said, “The anger within me is overwhelming! I could have saved Noble Knight! I now feel like I have to avenge Noble Knight…after all, I could have faced Fire Incinerator myself, and could have stopped Noble Knight from fighting him…”
“Don’t talk like that!” Mr. Ross said, “You did all you could. It was Noble Knight’s decision to fight him alone.”
“Nevertheless...I will find Fire Incinerator and bring an end to him…with the Neo Empire’s help or not!” Nova then stormed out of the building.
“Nova, wait!” Mr. Ross cried out for Nova as he left.
Mega Man Nova then went to the most likely places that gang activities would happen.
“Hmm…I’ll see if any of these punks know anything about Dr. Dander or where Fire Incinerator is.” Nova thought to himself, and then he encountered a robot and his goons mugging a woman who looked like she was in her teens. She had long blond hair.
“Help Me!” The woman cried out, hoping that someone would hear her.
“Shut up!” One of the goons said, “No one can save you now!” And then all of a sudden, a buster shot consumed him.
“I disagree.” Nova said, still having his buster pointing at the remains of the now destroyed goon, “I am Mega Man Nova, and I feel angry. I guess I’ll take it out on you.”
“Mega Man Nova?” One of the stronger Reploids in the bunch said, “I know you. You’re the government’s attack hound.”
“No,” Nova said, “I only follow their orders because that will help keep the peace. Who might you be?”
“I’m the gang leader of the gang in Central City, and an associate of Dr. Victor Dander. I’m Cold Freezer, and my weapon is the Freeze Cracker, the same weapon used by Freeze Man back in 20XX!”
“Hmm…I now have two reasons to destroy you.” Nova said, “Getting your power will have me defeat Fire Incinerator, and to save that woman.”
“My, my, you seem confidence.” Cold Freezer said, “I guess you’ll learn my power the hard way!”
“You stupid punk,” Nova said, “I can take out trash like you in a heartbeat.”
“We’ll just see about that!” Cold Freezer said, “Freeze Cracker!” He then shot out a sharp snowflake from his buster.
“Is that it?” Nova said, and then transformed his hand into the Nova Saber, and sliced the snowflake in two. “It’s time for you to die.”
“No!” Cold Freezer said, “Impossible!” That was the last word Cold Freezer said before he was slashed in two by Nova. The two halves of Cold Freezer then blew up.
“Cold Freezer destroyed…gained ‘Freeze Cracker’.” Nova said. He then turned to the woman, “Are you all right?”
“Yes, I’m fine now, thank you,” The woman said, “I am Millie Strokes, a spy for the Neo Empire.”
“Well, good thing I came, Mrs. Strokes,” Nova said, “Why were those punks attacking you?”
“Well, they work for Dr. Dander, and I found out where his factory is, however, the factory is not his base. I believe Fire Incinerator is the commander there…”
“Fire Incinerator?” Nova asked, “You must tell me where this factory is!”
“Sure thing,” Millie said, “The Factory is in North City.”
“Thank you.” Nova said to Millie, “When you return to HQ, tell Mr. Ross I’m going to North City.”
Chapter Fourteen: Fire Incinerator, and the Hot Battle for Vengeance
After saving the spy, Millie Strokes, from one of Dr. Dander’s associates, Cold Freezer, Mega Man Nova learned that Fire Incinerator is at a factory in North City. North City was huge during the wars for being the home of most production factories. Many of the factories were destroyed in the wars of the past, but still some factories are well enough to under go production once again. The City was abandoned after the wars, because of the destruction, and the pollution that the factories made. Dr. Dander figured that it would be the perfect location for a secret factory.
“Hmm…seems like this City seen better days.” Nova said to himself, looking at the destruction that the City has done through, “It’s hard to think that there’s a working factory in this mess.” Nova then continued through the city to look for the factory that Fire Incinerator was in. Finally he came across a factory that was working. “This must be it.”
“Stop!” One of the Security Reploids saw Nova. It looked liked a mass produced Reploid, with only light armor, and a regular buster. Nova quickly silenced the guard with his Nova Saber.
“I can’t use my Nova Buster,” Nova thought to himself, “The light, and the explosion the Nova Buster makes will give me away.” Nova then continued through the factory stealthy, taking care of any guards that spotted him. He finally made his way into the Control Center.
“Where is the intruder?” One person in the control room asked somebody through a computer. That person was Fire Incinerator.
“We don’t know, sir!” One of the guards replied, “All who spotted him were quickly killed!”
“Well, he must be stopped!” Fire Incinerator said, “We cannot afford for this factory to fall!”
“I’m right here, coward.” Nova said out loud, “Your puny guards can’t save you from the fate you deserve! Noble Knight will be avenged!”
Fire Incinerator then turned around to face Nova, “So, you found this factory. Good job, I’m impressed, but you will soon suffer the same fate Noble Knight suffered! All who oppose the Black Regime will be destroyed!”
“Enough talk, I’m not here to chit-chat…I came to kill your evil hide.” Nova then dashed at Fire Incinerator with his Nova Saber pointed at Fire Incinerator’s head.
“You fool.” Fire Incinerator then dodged the attack, “You can’t beat me!” He then counterattacked with his fist, and knocked Nova back.
“Ouch!” Nova said, while being slammed into the wall, and then quickly got back on his feet, “All right, time to take out all the stops! Freeze Cracker!” A Snowflake then shot out of Nova’s Buster, and headed toward Fire Incinerator.
“Is that supposed to hurt me?” Fire Incinerator said, “Lava Burner!” He then shot out a fireball, and the two attacks met each other and canceled each other out. “True, the Freeze Cracker would have hurt me, but thanks to my Lava Burner, it can’t even touch me!”
“I have a solution to that.” Nova said. “Clone Copy!” Then 9 other Novas circled around Fire Incinerator.
“Shoot!” Fire Incinerator said, “This is Clone Attacker’s ability!”
“Freeze Cracker!” The Nova clones said, and each one of them shot out a snowflake, making it impossible for Fire Incinerator to dodge. The snowflakes hit Fire Incinerator, causing massive damage.
“No!” Fire Incinerator said, “I’m an Elite Model! I can’t lose to Nova!” Then he fell to his knees. The Nova clones disappeared, and the real Nova was right in front of Fire Incinerator, charging up the Nova Buster. “Please, have mercy! I submit!”
“No, scums like you don’t deserve a second chance…” Nova said, and then a tear fell from his eye, “You scum deserve death!” Nova then fired a huge Blast, and it consumed Fire Incinerator, and destroyed him. “Fire Incinerator…destroyed. Gained ‘Lava Burner’.” He then looked down on the remains of Fire Incinerator, “Noble Knight…you are avenged…but my job is not done. My job will only be completed once all the Elite Models…and Dr. Dander are dead.”
Chapter Fifteen: The Attack on East City
After the fight with Fire Incinerator, Mega Man Nova went back to Central City to see if there were any new missions.
“Good to see that you’re all right.” Mr. Ross said, when he saw Mega Man Nova, “It was foolish going out like that. Mrs. Strokes told us that you went to North City, and we were afraid that Fire Incinerator would destroy you.”
“You don’t have to worry about me,” Nova said to Mr. Ross, “I’ll be fine. Anyway, are there any more Elite Model Sightings?”
“Yes, there is…I’m afraid you won’t like this…Heavy Crusher and his army are attacking East City.”
“What?” Nova was shocked, “That’s where Mr. Montag is! Do we know if Dr. Montag is all right?”
“No, we don’t. And what’s worse, we lost contact with Dr. Montag all together. He might be dead for all we know.”
“No…they can’t…” Nova thought to himself, “They just can’t kill him…If they did….I don’t know what I will do…”
After finding out about Heavy Crusher’s assault on East City, Mega Man Nova hurried over to East City in order to save the city...and his creator, Dr. Montag. When he finally reached the city, the city was more in ruins then when Nova first left. The same type of mass-produced Reploids Nova encountered at the Factory were attacking the city…they must be soldiers of Dr. Dander’s army.
“I bet Heavy Crusher is at Dr. Montag’s lab…looking for Novaium…” Nova thought to himself, and then proceeded in the direction of Dr. Montag’s lab.
“Wait!” One of the soldiers spotted Nova, “Stop there! All right, men, open fire!” The soldiers then pointed their busters at Nova, and fired them.
“Hmm…stupid punks.” Nova thought to himself, and then transformed his arm into the Nova Saber, and used the Nova Saber to deflect the buster shots, and rip through the soldiers that were in his way.
“Report to General Heavy Crusher! Tell him that the front line has fallen!” One the soldiers said to another one that was behind him, right before he was slashed by the Nova Saber.
“All who follow Dr. Dander deserve death!” Nova said, while he was slashing the soldiers.
“Is this guy a demon?” One of the soldiers said seeing Nova massacre the other soldiers. Soon, every soldier was dead. Nova stood in the center of the battlefield, looking at the remains of all those he slaughtered.
“No…” Nova’s mind was just then brought back into reality, “Did I do this destruction? This is insane…I must have gone nuts while I was fighting…I must get a grip on myself…Ever since Noble Knight’s death…I had an uncontrollable urge to massacre all those who follow Dr. Dander…but now that I looked back at what I have done…am I any better than Dr. Dander? I must make sure I never go berserk like this ever again…but now I must get to Dr. Montag’s lab and make sure he is all right…” Nova thought, and then dashed toward Dr. Montag’s lab…
Chapter Sixteen: Heavy Crusher, and the Battle in the Lab
Mega Man Nova raced from the battlefield toward Dr. Montag’s lab, hoping that he wasn’t too late to save Dr. Montag from the Elite Model that led the attack, Heavy Crusher.
“Dr. Montag?” Mega Man Nova said as he broke into the lab, “Are you alright?”
“Hmm…who’s this?” A voice from the darkness asked, “Why do you want Dr. Dander?”
“I am Mega Man Nova, and Dr. Montag is my creator. If you harmed Dr. Montag, I will personally rip you apart, bolt by bolt.”
“No, Dr. Montag is not harmed.” The voice said, “…not yet, anyhow. He compiled with our demands, so we had no reason to harm him.”
“Why did you want?”
“We wanted some Novaium, and the blueprints for ‘Project Nova’.”
“What? That’s me! Why do you want my blueprints?”
“I really don’t know, Dr. Dander’s ideas are his own, and he didn’t even tell us Elite Models. I’m just the delivery boy. I am Heavy Crusher.” A massive Reploid then stepped out of the shadows, wielding two huge mallets for arms. “You have interfered with Dr. Dander’s plans for too long. Even if you destroy me, I already teleported the blueprints and the Novaium to Dr. Dander, so my mission is complete. However, I’m sure that destroying you will make the good doctor even happier. Prepare to die, Mega Man Nova!” Heavy Crusher then swung one of his mallets at Nova, hoping to smack him with it. Nova quickly jumped out of the way, and dodged the huge mallet.
“Your attack might be powerful,” Nova said, “But It’s too slow to hit me!”
“Well then, I’ll wear you out!” Heavy Crusher said and then continued to swing his mallets around hoping that one swing would contact with Nova, but Nova dodged each swing, but he was getting tired.
“You’ll never hit me!”
“Just you wait! In a little bit more, you’ll be too tired to even walk!”
“He’s right…” Nova thought to himself, “But I have a solution.”
“Just stand still, and accept defeat!”
“Never…” Nova said, “Clone Copy!” Then a bunch of Mega Man Clones appeared around Heavy Crusher.
“What? No! I can’t tell who the real one is!” Heavy Crusher then swung his mallets, but every time he only hit a clone and the clones were quickly replaced with new clones.
“Time to end this!” Nova said, and then him, and the rest of the clones transformed their arms into the Nova Saber, and leapt at Heavy Crusher, all of the clones made a direct hit.
“No!” Heavy Crusher said, “How could I lose to a pipsqueak like Nova?” He then blew up.
“Heavy Crusher…destroyed. Gained ‘Giant Mallet’.” Nova said, “Now to see if Dr. Montag is all right.” Nova then went through the lab and found Dr. Montag.
“Nova? Is that you?” Dr. Montag said, when he saw Nova.
“Yes, it’s me.” Nova said, “Are you all right?”
“I will be now. I guess you took care of Heavy Crusher.”
“Yes, I did.”
“Good…but Dr. Dander still has your blueprints and some Novaium…no one can guess what he can do with those. You better report back to…” Dr. Montag was then interpreted by something on a monitor near Nova and Dr. Montag.
“Nova! This is Mr. Ross!” The monitor cried out, “Central City is under attack! We need you!”
“I guess that’s my cue. Good bye, Dr. Montag.” Nova said, and then raced toward Central City.
“Good luck, Nova,” Dr. Montag said to himself, “Fight…fight for everlasting peace…”
Chapter Seventeen: Surprise Attack on Central City
After saving Dr. Montag and East City from Heavy Crusher and his army, Mega Man Nova got an urgent S.O.S. from Central City. It seemed that the attack on East City was just a distraction so that Dr. Dander’s troops could do a full-scale assault on Central City without having Mega Man Nova to stop them. The leader of these troops must be the only remaining Elite Model left, Rocket Destroyer, which Nova briefly found out about when he looked up Dr. Dander’s past records. Mega Man Nova raced toward Central City…but it would take a long time to get there…
When Nova finally reached Central City it was apparent that conflict accorded there. Buildings were destroyed, many just damaged.
“My…” Nova thought to himself, “These troops wasted no time destroying the city…I better take care of them before more of the City is destroyed!” Nova then dashed toward the Government Capitol…there he saw what looked like a thousand Reploids; all were soldiers of Dr. Dander’s army.
“Hey! Everybody!” One of the soldiers yelled out, “Look out, it’s Mega Man Nova!” All of the soldiers then turned around and started to fire their busters at Nova.
“Punks…when will they learn?” Nova said, while dodging the shots, “Clone Copy!” Mega Man Nova then made clones of himself, and then all used the Nova Saber and went in different directions, taking down all of the soldiers in the way. After awhile, the clones stopped using the Nova Saber, and then started to use the Rapid Buster to mow out all of the soldiers.
“He has the powers of the Elite Models!” one of the soldiers said, “There is no chance in hell that we can defeat him!”
“We can’t give up!” another soldier said, “We must continue to fight! For the glory of the Black Regime! Send out the tank!” Then a tank began to drive toward Nova.
“Time to get serious.” Nova said, and then all of the clones disappeared and the same Nova was facing down the tank. “I don’t know why I fight…or what my reason is…but I do

Prologue: Review of History
In the start of 20XX, A two scientist named Dr. Light and Dr. Wily worked together to make 6 revolutionary humanoid robots. Dr. Wily then re-programmed the 6 robots so that he could use them to take over the world. Dr. Light’s other creation, Rock, volunteered to be changed into a combat robot in order to save the world. Thus, the first Mega Man was born. In the rest of the time of 20XX, Mega Man fought Dr. Wily again and again, each time defeating him. After Dr. Wily’s sixth defeat, he built a robot that was similar to Mega Man’s design, and he was named Bass. Mega Man and Bass then became bitter rivals…until near the end of the 20XX, where Bass finally figured out who was the true villain. They then fought Dr. Wily together, but Dr. Wily’s newest robot, Zero, which was a new type of robot called ‘Reploids’ quickly and effortlessly destroy both of the inferior robots. Dr. Wily was then free to take over the world, but, as fate would have it, a meteor from space hit the earth, exactly at Wily’s Base, Killing Wily and severely damaging Zero, and that damage erased much of his memory. Time passed, and in the start of 21XX Dr. Light’s blueprints of Reploids have been found, and Reploid research and development was soon under way. Then, Reploid production began, and the world was filled with robots that had true A.I.s, the ability to think and react for themselves. Soon after this, a Reploid scientist, Dr. Cain, found Zero, and gave him life once again. After a while, several Reploids thought that they were superior to humans, and attacked them. These Reploids were called ‘Irregulars’, and the ‘Irregular Hunters’ were made in order to destroy the rouge Reploids, and keep the peace. However, the Hunter’s leader, Sigma, who was a creation of Dr. Cain, became a ‘Irregular’ himself, and helped unify the ‘Irregulars’ making himself the commander of all of them. It was then they were known as Mavericks, and said to have a defect that made them think this way, and that defect was called the ‘Maverick Virus’. It was then that Dr. Cain found Dr. Light’s final creation, Mega Man X. Mega Man X, also called just ‘X’, then confronted Sigma and destroyed him. However, Sigma had the ‘Sigma Virus’ allowing to take over a Reploid’s body. The Mavericks wars continued all throughout 21XX, and the beginning of 22XX. Then, Sigma was defeated for good, but then, the ‘Elf Wars’ began, and lasted until 23XX. In between that time, a scientist named Dr. Ciel made a clone of X, in order to replace the aging original. This clone was known as ‘Copy-X’. Copy-X was just as strong as the original. However, it had trouble telling a Maverick from a regular Reploid. Also during this time, Zero mysteriously vanished. Copy-X then made ‘Neo Arcadia’, a place for humans to live in peace. The Neo Arcadian Government, along with Copy-X, started a campaign to destroy all Reploids, even those who were not Maverick, for fear that they would. Reploids then banded together to make the Resistance, led by Dr. Ciel, so that they could survive the Neo Arcadian Inquisition. The Resistance was on the brink of destruction when Dr. Ciel found Zero, and brought him back to life. Zero then battled against Neo Arcadia, and the Neo Arcadia War began.
The Neo Arcadian War lasted for awhile, but Copy-X was finally destroyed. Years after a new system of energy, the ‘Ciel Network’, was created, the people of Neo Arcadia made peace with the Reploids and then peace followed, but due to the wars of the past, much of Earth was in ruins. Centuries past, people and Reploids together tried to rebuild Earth. In the time of 19XXX, a new source of Energy has been found in outer space and brought to Earth for study. This new type of energy is ten-times more powerful than the previous strongest source of energy. This new type of energy is called ‘Novaium’. The time is now 20XXX, more than a thousands years from the age of the first Mega Man. Crime is high, and a new, dark evil regime is about to emerge. The world is still mostly in ruins. The world needs a new hero.
Chapter One: Dr. Montag’s Creation
In East City, lies a laboratory that belongs to a scientist named Dr. Montag. East City is plagued with crime, and 1/3 of the city is in ruins due the wars of the past. Dr. Montag specialized with Novaium Research, and studied the events of the past. He was 60 years old. His family was killed while some Reploid robbers came into his house and stole most of his work. The Reploids killed his wife and son, and he was a top member of the Government, and in charge of the ‘Project Nova’, and the plans for that project was what the Reploids who broke into his house wanted. Luckily, they didn’t steal anything of major importance. Dr. Montag studied the Mega Mans of the past, and built a Reploid body similar to Mega Man X. However, his body looked a little different, and the symbol on his helmet was a diamond, and Novaium powered his power core.
“Good…Mega Man Nova is about to wake up,” Dr. Montag said, “Our last hope is about to come into this hellish world.” Then Mega Man Nova’s eyes glowed red, and then backed to normal, and then his pod opened up.
“Where am I?” Nova said.
“You are Mega Man Nova,” Dr. Montag said, “The end result of ‘Project Nova’. I am Dr. Montag, one of your creators. The others were killed during strikes made by criminals in order to try and stop your production. The age is 20XXX, and the world is falling apart.”
“I feel…much power…” Nova said.
“That would be your Novaium Core,” Dr. Montag said, “It was the main thing that the criminals wanted…your Novaium. It’s the most powerful energy known to man and Reploid. With it, and given to someone who knows how to fight, they could be unbeatable. Many people gave up their lives so that you could fight for the future…a better future than this. Both Humans and Reploids made really dumb mistakes, and that’s what led to this era, but, with you, we hope we can set things straight,” Dr. Montag said, and then wept, “…my family also gave their life…”
“Who led the attack on your family?” Nova asked, “If I am to fix things, I better start here.”
“The gang leader of the Reploids here in East City is named ‘Dark Slasher’, he was made for war, but after all the wars, he had no purpose left, so he decided to make war. He has a blaster for one arm, and a heavy blade for the other. Most likely, he is hiding out with his gang members in the ruins of the city.”
“What are my weapons?” Nova asked Dr. Montag.
“You weapons are based after the weapons of the legendary heroes of the past. Your main weapon, the Nova Buster, is like the old Mega Buster, in that you can charge it, but it is much more powerful. You other weapon is that you can transform one of your arms into a plasma blade, and that is called the ‘Nova Saber’, based off the legendary Z-Saber.” Dr. Montag said, “But even though you have powerful weapons, do not underestimate your foes. Reploids nowadays are just as deadly as you are. Be careful, I don’t want my family’s sacrifice to be in vain.”
“I’ll be careful,” Nova said, “…and I’ll avenge your family.”
Chapter Two: Dark Slasher, the Veteran Warrior of Darkness
Nova dashed toward the ruin part of the city. “Show yourself, Dark Slasher!”
Upon hearing this, a Reploid with a mini-jet on its’ back, and a Homing Sniper for an arm came out of one of the ruins. “Who wants to see Master Dark Slasher?”
“Who are you?” Nova asked the Reploid.
“I am Dark Slasher’s bodyguard, Aero Sniper.”
“I am Mega Man Nova. I need to talk to Dark Slasher.”
“Mega Man Nova?” Aero Sniper said, “Hmm…you’re here to kill Dark Slasher, aren’t you?”
“I have no time for punks like you.” Nova said, “Get out of the way, or you will be destroyed.
“How dare you talk like that you one of Dark Slasher’s men! In case you haven’t noticed, my weapon is called the Homing Sniper, which was used back in the day of 20XX by Search Man! Of course, he couldn’t fly, which made him easy to defeat, but me, with the jet on my back, am able to fire the Homing Sniper from the air, making me unbeatable!” Aero Sniper said.
“Hmm…you stupid punk.” Nova said, “It’s because of people like you that the world is mostly like the ruins we are in right now. Give me your best shot.”
“Fine then!” Aero Sniper said, and then took off to the air, “Homing Sniper!” missiles then fired from Aero Sniper’s gun, and then were aimed for Nova.
“Now…” Nova was charging up power, “Nova Buster!” Nova then shot a blast of energy from his buster. The blast consumed the Homing Snipers, and continued toward Aero Sniper.
“No…I’m unbeatable!” Aero Sniper said stunned, and the blast hit him, and then Aero Sniper hit the ground, but was still alive.
“Well…I guess you’re not ‘unbeatable’ anymore.” Nova said and then walked up to the grounder Aero Sniper, and aimed his buster at Aero Sniper’s head.
“No! Please don’t kill me! Show mercy! If you let me live, I’ll follow you…” Aero Sniper was pleading to Nova.
“Show you mercy?” Nova said, “Did YOU show anyone mercy?” Nova then started to charge his buster, “…No.” Nova the fired his buster, and then the blast consumed Aero Sniper, and he exploded.
“Bravo, Bravo. And you took him down without much difficulty.” A mysterious Reploid in the shadows said, while clapping.
“Who are you?” Nova quickly turned around to face the new threat. And pointed his buster at the figure.
“I am who you wanted to see…Dark Slasher.” Dark Slasher then stepped out into the open, “I was impressed by your fight. C’mon, join me, and take Aero Sniper’s place as my bodyguard, and we could rule East City with an iron fist!”
“My answer to that…” Nova then started to charge up energy, “…Is no.” Hova then fired his buster at Dark Slasher.
“Fool.” Dark Slasher said, and then smirked. He then jumped in the air, and sliced the buster shot in two with his blade. “I’ve faced buster weapons a lot during my time on the battlefield. You’ll have to do better than that to kill me.”
“All right then,” Nova said and then transformed his right arm into the Nova Saber. “Let’s see how you handle this!”
“Good.” Dark Slasher said, and then gave an evil smile, “It has been awhile since I’ve had a real fight. I love to fight…to destroy…to kill. After all, that’s what I was created to do. I was part of many wars, even some here in East City, in the exact place we’re fighting right now. I live for fighting.”
“Okay then,” Nova said, “ Prepare to face the last fight of your pathetic life!” Nova then dashed toward Dark Slasher.
“So, it begins.” Dark Slasher said, and then dashed toward Nova. The two blades met each other, and there was a quick release of energy when the two blades hit each other, there was a blinding flash. The two fighters then tried to slash each other with their blades, but each blow hit the other and a blinding light occurred when it happened. “You’re tough.” Dark Slasher said, “But now tough enough!” Dark Slasher then jumped back, “Killer Dash!” Dark Slasher then dashed at Nova with blinding speed.
“Now is my chance…” Nova thought to himself, and moved out of the way, As soon as Dark Slasher pass by him, he slashed his back.
“AHH!” Dark Slasher screamed in pain, his back circuitry revealed from the slash Nova did.
“Now…it’s time for you to die!” Nova said, and then charged up his buster and fired it at Dark Slasher’s back. The shot went into Dark Slasher.
“No…This can’t be!” Dark Slasher said, and then he exploded.
“Dark Slasher is destroyed.” Nova looked at the burning rubbish that was once Dark Slasher, “Mission complete.” Nova then walked back to Dr. Montag’s lab.
“Did you defeat Dark Slasher?” Dr. Montag asked Nova when he returned.
“Yes…Your family has been avenged.” Nova said to Dr. Montag.
“Good…maybe now East City can be in peace…Nova, just because you destroyed Dark Slasher, it doesn’t mean that your mission is complete. The world is still in chaos, and is still near the brink of destruction. Your next move should be to head to Central City. There you will see the Capitol of the Government. They will help you find the source of this evil so that you can completely destroy it. It’s a 3-day journey to Central City from here. Be careful, and help anybody you see on the road while you go.”
“I will, Doctor.” Nova said, “I will help all those who need my help.” Nova then dashed off in the direction of Central City.
“I wish you luck…” Dr. Montag thought to himself, “…You may need it. You’re the world’s final hope…”
Chapter Three: The Weapon Specialist
Mega Man Nova continued down the path to Central City, and the path went through an old town named ‘Techno Town’. Techno Town was once a very successful town, with laboratories devoted to new types of weapons. However, a wave of crime took over the city, and stole the prototype weapons so that they could use them. Most of the town is in ruins, but there are still some functional laboratories there.
“Hmm…this place seems deserted…” Nova thought to himself when he entered the village. Then some Reploid with a regular buster weapon jumped out in front of Nova.
“Give me all your money, or else!” The Reploid said, pointing his buster at Nova.
“You got to be joking.” Nova said. “You can’t hurt me.”
“I’ll show you the power of one of Thunder Striker’s men!” The Reploid said and fired his buster.
“I can’t stand you stupid punks.” Nova said, and then charged up his buster, and then fired his buster, and Nova’s buster blast consumed the other buster shot, and the Reploid who fired it. “Hmm…It sounds like another gang is in this town…and it sounds like this ‘Thunder Striker’ is their leader. Dr. Montag wanted me to help all those who was in my way while I went to Central City…It seems like I’ll make a stop here.” Nova then went around the town to see if there was a working laboratory. Nova then walked into a lab that had its’ lights on. “Is anybody here?” Nova asked aloud.
“Who…who are you?” A scientist came out from the other room of the lab, “You’re with Thunder Striker, aren’t you? You’re here for my weapons. You people already took everything from me, so I don’t care any more! I don’t care whether I live or die!”
“Wait! I’m Mega Man Nova, made in order to help the people of this world. Who are you? What did Thunder Striker take from you? Your life’s work?”
“I am the Main Weapons Specialist of Techno Town, Dr. Beatty. Thunder Striker didn’t take my weapons, no, he took something of much higher importance. Because I didn’t want to make weapons for him, he kidnapped my daughter, Kate, for ransom.”
“That’s terrible!” Nova said, “Well, I won’t stand for this! Tell me where Thunder Striker is so that I may rescue your daughter.”
“Thank you…” Dr. Beatty said, “…Thunder Striker would be in the center of town, he made his own base there.”
“Thanks for the information.” Nova said, “Don’t worry, I’ll make sure I’ll bring back your daughter alive.”
“Before you go,” Dr. Beatty said, “I give you something to help you. It’s something that Thunder Striker stole my daughter to get. It’s the legendary Mega Man’s ability to gain an enemy weapon once the enemy has been destroyed. Have you destroyed any Reploids yet that had a special attack?”
“Yes, I’ve destroyed two, Aero Sniper and Dark Slasher. Aero Sniper special weapon was the Homing Sniper, and I think Dark Slasher’s special move was his ‘Killer Dash’ he tried on me.
“When I download the data into your CPU, you will be able to do both of those moves, and if you destroy Thunder Striker, you will be able to do his move, the ‘Dynamo Strike’. Dr. Beatty then connected Nova to a machine, and then the ‘Copy Weapon’ program was downloaded. “Use those moves against Thunder Striker.” Dr. Beatty said, “He won’t go down without a though fight.”
“Thank you.” Nova said, “I promise…I will reunite you with your daughter.”
Chapter Four: Thunder Striker, The Evil Warrior of Thunder
Nova went into Thunder Striker’s base. “Come out, Thunder Striker! And show to me that Kate is alive!”
“Hmm…How do you know about Kate?” A Reploid said from the shadows, and then stepped out into the open. This Reploid had a very muscular shape and a dynamo for an arm, and an eye-patch over his right eye. “Did Dr. Beatty sent you?”
“First, show me that Kate is still alive!”
“Fine, You can have your wish.” The Reploid then brought out a girl who was tied up. “This is Kate. She’s still alive, only knocked out.”
“So, I presume you are Thunder Striker?” Nova said.
“Yes, I am.” Thunder Striker said, “And who might you be?”
“I am here to take back Kate, and to save this town from the likes of you. I am Mega Man Nova.”
“Mega Man Nova?” Thunder Striker asked, “I’ve heard about you. You’re the end result of that ‘Project Nova’. I’ve also heard that you killed Dark Slasher. I was going to do that. My gang and his gang are rival gangs. He was the person who made me wear this eye-patch. But that was a long time ago. Now, I’m stronger. However, Since you defeated Dark Slasher, you must be strong yourself. How about if you…”
“If you’re about to ask me to join you, the answer’s no. I rather die that join junk like you.” Nova said, “Now, give me Kate, or you’ll regret it.”
“So, you think you can defeat me?” Thunder Striker said, “You got to be joking me. I’ll tell you what. Defeat me, and you can have Kate.”
“Okay.” Nova said, “You just a punk. Homing Sniper!” Missiles then fired out of Nova’s buster and hit Thunder Striker.
“Not bad,” Thunder Striker said, “But it will take more than that attack to kill me! Dynamo Strike!” He then charged up his Dynamo, and then unleashed a huge blast of Electricity. The Blast was as fast as the speed of sound, and Nova had no time to dodge.
“AHH!” Nova cried out in pain.
“I can’t believe you destroyed Dark Slasher, while I’m making you look weak!” Thunder Striker said, “No one can dodge my Dynamo Strike!”
“Dr. Montag warned me not to underestimate my opponent…” Nova said, “And I will not make that mistake again!”
“It doesn’t matter! You’re about to be dead! Dynamo Strike!” Thunder Striker then did this attack again, but prior to this, Nova charged up his buster and fired, and the two blasts hit each other and counteracted each other. “Hmm…maybe it was me who underestimated you…”
“It seems we’re equal powerful…” Nova said, “But I have Novaium!”
“I do too.” Thunder Striker said.
“What?” Nova asked.
“Dr. Beatty didn’t tell you, didn’t he? He didn’t tell you who created me. It was Dr. Beatty himself. I was suppose to be like you, help people, but then I realized that they are inferior to me!”
“You…you Maverick! You even betrayed your own creator?” Nova said.
“When you have Novaium, you are superior to everyone. My law I live by is, ‘The weak die, the Strong survive.’ I’m strong, and my creator is weak.”
“I’ll never use my Novaium for evil!” Nova said, “I will destroy you!”
“You fool. You don’t know yet how to fully use your Novaium. Though, I don’t either, but I know how to use it better than you!”
“That’s it.” Nova said, “I had enough.” Nova’s right arm then turned into a dark blade. “Killer Dash!”
“No!” Thunder Striker said to himself, “This is Dark Slasher’s move! The same one that destroyed my right eye!”
“Now!” Nova said, and dashed at Thunder Striker at blinding speeds, “You will pay for betraying your creator!” Nova successful did the attack, and severely damaged Thunder Striker’s left eye.
“No! Not my left eye!” Thunder Striker said to himself “Curse you, Dark Slasher! Even in death you continue to haunt me!”
“Now prepare to meet your rival in hell!” Nova said, and the charged up his buster, and fired. The blast consumed Thunder Striker, and he exploded. Nova then took Kate and went back to Dr. Beatty’s lab.
“Oh thank you, Nova!” Dr. Beatty said, “You rescued my daughter! How can I ever repay you?”
“You already did.” Nova said to the doctor, “You gave me the ‘Copy Weapon’ program, and that in the end helped me defeat Thunder Striker. Now, I must be on my way to Central City. I hope you have a good life, Dr. Beatty. Farewell.” Nova then dashed off to the trail that leads to Central City…
Chapter Five: The New Threat
After one more day of traveling, Mega Man Nova finally reached Central City. Central City is the only major city that has been completely rebuilt. Central City does have crime, but it’s not as bad as other towns and villages. It’s the Capitol of Neo Empire, the new world order that was set up after Neo Arcadia failed. Even though it has ‘Empire’ in it, it’s still a democracy. The Neo Empire is not anti-Reploid and is trying to make peace. However, factions against Neo Empire, and the growing rate of crime, are making that nearly impossible. Further more, the Neo Empire has a weak army. Mega Man Nova is their final hope.
“Well, I made it.” Nova said to himself when he entered the city, “Central City. Man, this city is huge! Okay, Dr. Montag wanted me to go to the Government Capitol.” So, Nova went throughout the city and finally found the Government Capitol.
“Halt, who are you?” One of the guards at the main gate asked, “You better not be here to cause trouble…”
“Relax. I’m Mega Man Nova, the end result of ‘Project Nova’. I was sent by Dr. Montag.”
“Nova? Good…at least something good happened for once. The Neo Empire Council would like to see you. I’ll escort you.” The guard then escorted Nova to a big room, with people siting all around a central table. Some of the people there were Reploids while others were humans. “Neo Empire Council! I bring to you, Mega Man Nova!”
“Good.” One gentleman said, “It seems ‘Project Nova’ saw a successful end. Hello, Nova, I am Alexander Ross, the head of the Neo Empire Council.”
“Good to meet you, Mr. Ross.” Nova said, “So, Dr. Montag said that maybe you could help me understand what the main evil faction is.”
“Yes, I can tell you,” Mr. Ross said, “The main faction is called ‘The Black Regime’. A scientist named Dr. Victor W. Dander leads it. It is believed that Dr. Dander is a descendant of the famous Mad Scientist, Dr. Wily. Dr. Dander specializes in making Reploids built for war, and we believed he built at least 6 elite models. One of those models, Rapid Assassin, is after our Novaium Specialist, Dr. Clarisse L. Lane. We were thinking of having our troops protect her, but they would be destroyed easily by Rapid Assassin. Rapid Assassin is assigned an important Government Official from Dr. Dander, and then he goes out and kills them. He has already killed 10 Government Official, and moves so fast, and so lethal, all of our troops that fought him were destroyed. But now that you’re here, you can protect Dr. Lane, and make sure that she doesn’t die, and that her Novaium doesn’t fall into the wrong hands.”
“I would be glad to accept this mission.” Nova said, “I cannot forgive people who killed another, and those people must be brought to justice!”
“Good,” Mr. Ross said, “I will now introduce you to Dr. Lane.” Then a female who looked like she was in her teens, with really long red hair in a ponytail walked into the room.
“Hello, Mega Man Nova.” The woman said, “I am Dr. Lane.”
“You can just call me Nova.” Nova said, “Don’t worry Dr. Lane, you’re in safe hands with me, I’ll make sure nothing happens to you.”
“Thank you, Nova, I can’t tell you how afraid I was about knowing that Rapid Assassin was after me, but I heard you took down Dark Slasher, and Thunder Striker, so you must be powerful enough to stop Rapid Assassin!”
“Man, News around here flies around here quickly…” Nova thought to himself.
“Okay then,” Mr. Ross said, “Dr. Lane will be in her Lab, and Nova, you keep a close watch on her and her lab. Rapid Assassin is a tricky robot, so be on guard.”
“Yes, sir!” Nova and then saluted Mr. Ross.
Chapter Six: Rapid Assassin, the Quick Killer
Mega Man Nova was stationed in front of the only entrance to Dr. Lane’s lab. It was 1:00 AM, and it was pitch black. Dr. Lane’s lab was not far from the Government Capitol, but far enough if Rapid Assassin attacked the lab, back-up would not reach there in time.
“Hmm…this is about the ideal time for Rapid Assassin to strike,” Nova said to himself, “I wonder if he’ll try to do something tonight, or maybe he’ll try next night…or maybe the next after that. But, no matter, I will face him and destroy him!” Nova then stood outside the lab for some more. 1:30 AM, Nova was then walking around the lab, making sure that Rapid Assassin wasn’t going to try and enter though the back somehow. 2:00 AM, Nova was just standing outside the entrance again, and he seemed bored. But he knew that protecting Dr. Lane was important, and he can not sleep on the job. 2:05 AM. An explosion occurs, and then, a scream. “Shoot!” Nova said, “He must of known I was hear, and blew up the outer wall to get in!” Nova then dashed inside a hurried to where he heard the scream, when he got there, he saw a Reploid who had a machine gun buster for an arm, a helmet with shades, had tiny jets on his legs, and he was carrying a large sack that was squirming. Nova then pointed his buster at the Reploid. “Who are you?” Nova said the Reploid, “And what is in that sack?”
“The thing that’s in my sack is Dr. Lane,” The Reploid said, “And I am Rapid Assassin, one of the Elite Models of the Black Regime.”
“What?” Nova was shocked, “I thought you were here to kill Dr. Lane, not kidnap her!”
“Well, it seems my creator, Dr. Dander, want her alive, because she know the secret of Novaium. If he wanted her dead, she would have already been dead, and me gone by the time you got here.”
“Let her go.” Nova said, “I am Mega Man Nova, and I was assigned to kill you, Rapid Assassin!”
“So, ‘Project Nova’ was a success? Hmm…I thought one of our associates, Dark Slasher, said he stopped it.”
“Dark Slasher was made by Dr. Dander?”
“No, he wasn’t. He is inferior compared to Dr. Dander’s Elite Models.” Rapid Assassin said, and then dropped the sack that contained Dr. Lane, “I heard that you were supposed to be good at fighting. It’s been awhile since I’ve had a good rival. And I also heard that you have the ‘Copy Weapon’ program installed. In that case, if you defeat me, you get my ‘Rapid Buster’. It’s basically a machine gun, capable of firing a lot of buster shots in a small amount of time, and each buster shot has the power of one buster shot that was half way charged. It’s a really lethal weapon, perfect for me. That’s why I’m called Rapid Assassin.”
“Hmm…your weapon does sound good, but it can’t beat my charged up Nova Buster!” Nova then charged up his buster and fired it at Rapid Assassin.
“Fool.” Rapid Assassin said, and then used the jets on his legs to move really fast, and dodge the blast. “Thanks to my speed, your attacks can’t hit me! You would have to have an attack that could move that the speed of sound to hit me!”
“That’s good.” Nova said, “Because I just got one yesterday!” Nova’s right arm then transformed into a dynamo, “Now face, the Dynamo Strike!” The blast of electricity moved so fast, that it hit Rapid Assassin.
“No!” Rapid Assassin was stunned, “That’s no way that there’s an attack faster than me! Fine then, time to take this up a notch!” Rapid Assassin then started to jet toward Nova, “Rapid Buster!” his Rapid Buster then fired at Nova. Nova was able to get out of the way, but not before some of the buster shots hit him.
“Ouch!” Nova said, “You’re right! That is a painful weapon.”
“This time you won’t get lucky!” Rapid Assassin said, and then made a turn so that he was coming after Nova again. “Rapid Buster!” Instead of moving this time, Nova fired the Dynamo Strike, and the attack counteracted each buster shot, and hit Rapid Assassin. “No!” Rapid assassin said and then his jets broke. “How could one of Dr. Dander’s Elite Models be defeated?”
“Because you are evil.” Nova said, and then charged up the Nova Buster and fired. Rapid Assassin, who knew he was already beaten, did not attempt to move out of the way, and the blast consumed him, and then he exploded.
“Rapid Assassin…destroyed. Gained ‘Rapid Buster’.” Nova said out load, not knowing that he did. And then he got Dr. Lane out of the sack. “Are you okay, Dr. Lane?”
“Yes, I’m fine.” Dr. Lane said, “For a moment there, I thought I was a goner!”
“Hmm… If Rapid Assassin was this tough,” Nova thought to himself, “I wonder how tough the other Elite Models are, and what are their powers?”
Chapter Seven: The Robot Museum
“Good job, destroying Rapid Assassin,” Mr. Ross said to Nova, on the next day, “You saved Dr. Lane’s life.”
“It was my duty,” Nova said, “I can’t let any other people or Reploid die.”
“True,” Mr. Ross said, “But good work nevertheless. We called you here because we pinpointed the location of another Elite Model.”
“Who is it this time?” Nova asked.
“This Elite Model know as Clone Attacker. He is able to make clones off himself in order to overwhelm his opponent. He’s much like the old Gemini Man, but more improved, and can make up to 10 Clones, instead of two.”
“What is his target?” Nova asked.
“Well, he pinpointed him to West City. As the name suggests, West City is west from here. We believe is going to try and rob the Robot Museum there. That Robot Museum hosts the bodies of the Sinister Six, Fire Man, Ice Man, Guts Man, Cut Man, Bomb Man, and Elec Man. We believe that Dr. Dander wants these bodies so that he can revive them, and create more deadly robots.”
“Well, I know what that means. You are assigning me to go to the Robot Museum and confront Clone Attacker.”
“Yes,” Mr. Ross said, “However, I don’t believe that Clone Attacker will be a problem for you.”
“I don’t know,” Nova said, “If Rapid Assassin didn’t want to kidnap Dr. Lane, she would have been dead by the time I got to her. I have a feeling that we should not underestimate the Elite Models.”
Mega Man Nova was then assigned to go to West City, in order to destroy Clone Attacker. West City was almost as nice as Central City, and only a small amount of it was still in ruins. The Robot Museum was in the center of town. This town has said to be under the watch of a mysterious hero.
“So, this is West City,” Nova said to himself when we entered, “Now to go to the Robot Museum, and wait for Clone Attacker.” Nova then went inside the Robot Museum, and looked what that they had. The Robot Museum had Wax Statues of All of the Robot Masters, and of Dr. Light and Dr. Wily.
“So, this is Dr. Wily,” Nova said to himself when he saw the statue, “Man, this guy is screaming ‘Mad Scientist!’” Nova then moved on and saw the Wax Stature of the Legendary Mega Man. “So, the first Mega Man looked like this,” Nova thought to himself, “I’m not that much different.” When he was walking through the Museum he encountered a robot what had a red helmet with shades, and a yellow scarf.
“Hey, you!” the robot said to Nova, “You look just like Mega Man!”
“That’s because I’m Mega Man Nova.”
“Mega Man Nova?” The robot said, and then smirked.
“And who might you be?” Nova asked the robot.
“I don’t think I’m going to tell you right now,” the robot said, “See ya later…Mega Man.” He then teleported away.
“Hmm…I wonder who that guy was…” Nova thought.
Chapter Eight: Clone Attacker, the One Reploid Army
Mega Man Nova stayed in the Robot Museum after closing hours, waiting for Clone Attacker to appear.
“Hmm…this reminds me of the night I faced Rapid Assassin…waiting for my opponent to make the first move.” Nova thought. He also was trying to come up with a way that he could attack 10 Reploids at once. Then, an explosion occurred. “That’s my cue!” Nova said to himself, and then dashed to where the explosion happened.
“Hey, who’s there!” A Reploid asked Nova, when he came into the room.
“I’m Mega Man Nova, and I guess that you’re Clone Attacker!”
“Yes, I am.” The Reploid said, “I am Clone Attacker, one of the Elite Models. Here to rob from the Robot Museum…I heard that you destroyed Rapid Assassin. I will now avenge my comrade!” Clone Attacker then split into 10 Reploids each with a Buster weapon. “Now, die!” The Clones fired their weapons, and Nova managed to dodge some, but most hit him, due to the shot coming from different angles.
“Shoot!” Nova said, “I can’t dodge those shots quite easily.” It was then that whistling was heard.
“Uh? Who’s whistling?” one of Clone Attacker’s clone asked, and then a robot teleported in the Museum.
“You…you are that guy I met before in the Museum!” Nova said to the robot who had just teleported in.
“Looks like you need my help…Mega Man.” The robot said. “…Just like old times.”
“What are you talking about?” Nova said the robot, confused.
“Hmm…It seems I have another opponent,” one of Clone Attacker’s Clone said. “No matter. You will all perish!” The clones then fired their buster again.
“Mega Man! Stay behind me!” the robot said, and then used the shield he carried to protect him and Nova from the Buster shots.
“Thanks!” Nova said.
“No problem, Mega Man,” The robot said, “Now let’s take out the trash!” He then charged up his buster and mowed out one of the clones, but another clone took its place.
“Ha!” one of the clones said, “As long as it wasn’t the original you hurt, another clone can take the place of the fallen one!”
“All right then, I’ll attack all of the clones at the same time with the ‘Rapid Buster’!” Nova said, and then his buster charged up and then his buster fired very rapidly, attacking all of the clones.
“Ha!” The clones said, and then the clones disappeared when the real Clone Attacker was hurt.
“Now to finish this.” Nova said and charged up his Nova Buster and fired.
“No!” Clone Attacker said, and then was consumed by the blast and then exploded.
“Clone Attacker…Destroyed. Gained ‘Clone Copy’.” Nova said, and then turned to the robot, “Thank you for you help. That fight would have been a lot more harder if you didn’t help.”
“You don’t need to thank me.” The robot said.
“Say…who are you?”
“Ya know, The history books never said what ever happened to Proto Man.” The robot said, and then smirked, “I’ll see you again…Mega Man.” And then the robot teleported away.
“Hmm…That guy is so mysterious…who is he?”
Chapter Nine: The Challenge
“Nice Work,” Mr. Ross told Nova, when he returned to Central City, “Not only was the exhibits at the Robot Museum were saved, but you also destroyer another Elite Model, Clone Attacker!”
“Yeah, but I had some help.” Nova said. “So, I guess you called here because you found another Elite Model.”
“Well…it’s not we who found the Elite Model, it was the Elite Model who found us, and gave us this message.” Mr. Ross said, and then pressed a button. A video scene popped out of the wall, and it turned on, and the figure on the screen was a Reploid. This Reploid had an electric sword for one arm, and the other arm with a shield built on it.
“Hello, Mega Man Nova,” The Reploid on the scene said, “…and the vermin of the Neo Empire Council. I am Noble Knight, one of the Elite Models. I send a message from my creator, Dr. Victor Dander and myself. First, Dr. Dander wants to tell the Council that their days are numbered. Even though you send Mega Man Nova to do your dirty work, it will not save you demons from the fate you deserve. True, Rapid Assassin’s and Clone Attacker’s destruction delayed us a little, the Black Regime can never be destroyed. And now for my message to Mega Man Nova. Nova, you are truly an elite Reploid, but you are fighting on the wrong side. You should know the sins that the Council committed. I want to meet you, at the Subway Station at West City. I know you’re familiar with West City, after all that’s where you destroyed Clone Attacker. I’ll meet you there at midnight, tomorrow. Good day, Mega Man Nova, I look forward to our meeting.” Then the screen turned off.
“So, the next Elite Model I’ll face is Noble Knight.” Nova said, “I don’t believe anything that Noble Knight said. You guys are the good guys, and we works for Dr. Dander, who is evil.”
“That’s right.” Mr. Ross said, “Noble Knight has been brainwashed with all types of crazy ideas from Dr. Dander. But, still, Noble Knight is a tough Reploid. It is said that some of Knight Man’s program has been installed in Noble Knight, and he was one of the finalists of the World Robot Fighting Tournament back in 20XX. Be on guard, and don’t take him lightly.”
“I’ll be careful.” Nova said, “I’ve learned not to take my enemy to lightly. Plus, with all the weapons I’ve got from everyone I’ve defeated, he won’t defeat me.”
“I hope he doesn’t,” Mr. Ross said, “You should leave for West City now. You already know how to get there. I wish you good luck, Mega Man Nova.”
Chapter Ten: Noble Knight, and the Midnight Meeting
After receiving Noble Knight’s message, Mega Man Nova agreed to his demands and went to the subway in West City. He arrived there at 11:50 PM.
“Only ten more minutes…” Nova said to himself while looking at the clock, “I only hope that I can end this meeting with a peaceful note…” Nova then waited there, waited for the next Elite Model he would encounter, Noble Knight. Nova was alone in the station…until the time was 12:00AM…and then a train pulled in, and only one passenger on it. The doors to the train opened, and Noble Knight walked out. The train then left the station.
“Hello, Mega Man Nova,” Noble Knight said, “Before you ask, that was a train made by Dr. Dander, and the person who was driving it was another Elite Model, Fire Incinerator. Now then, let’s get to business.”
“Yes,” Nova said, and then pointed his Nova Buster at Noble Knight in self-defense, “Let’s get this over with.”
“I’m don’t plan to fight you.” Noble Knight said, “Only to tell you about the goals of the Black Regime.”
“I know that the Black Regime is evil! You guys killed people and tried to steal things and also tried to kidnap people!”
“It’s a shame you view us that way. The Black Regime is only doing steps that will make us rise to power. Once we rule, we are going to make Earth into a paradise! Look around you, Nova. The world is in ruins and on the brink of destruction. All this is due to wars and unrest among the masses. Governments were too soft on the people, and let the people to rebel, and that’s what led to the worlds that left our world in ruins! The world was once a utopia, but then was destroyed by conflict. Dr. Dander will make sure no one will oppose him, and lead us on the road to paradise. When I fight, I don’t do it for Dr. Dander, but for his ideas. His ideas will save this world, and once again turn Earth into a paradise.”
“It’s a shame that a Reploid like you has been brainwashed by evil…” Nova said, “Dr. Dander is evil! Can’t you see that?”
“You’re the one who has been brainwashed.” Noble Knight said, “Did the Neo Empire even tell you of Dr. Dander’s past? No…of course not. The Neo Empire just told you that he was evil, and a threat, and ordered you to kill him. Dr. Dander wants the best, and he knows the Neo Empire is corrupted, both inside, and in its ways. You haven’t been in this world long enough to truly make out good from evil.”
“Then why is it called the ‘Black Regime’?”
“That’s the name that Neo Empire tagged on to us, to make us look evil. They even went far enough to say that Dr. Dander was a relative of Dr. Wily! We have to do the things that we do, since they made us look evil. Before you fire that Buster of yours again, think about what the true evil here is…” Noble Knight said, and then the train returned, “I’ll see you again, Mega Man Nova, and hopefully then, we can exit together as allies…” He then entered the train and the train left.
Chapter Eleven: Dr. Dander’s past
That midnight meeting with Noble Knight made Mega Man Nova think. What was Dr. Dander’s past? Was he good? What did Noble Knight mean when he said that the Neo Empire was corrupted? All of these questions were flying around Mega Man Nova’s head. Later, He appeared before the Neo Empire Council.
“Yes, Nova?” Mr. Ross said, “What do you have to ask us?”
“Well, Mr. Ross,” Nova said, “I would like to request permission to see Dr. Dander’s past records. After my meeting with Noble Knight, I believe I need to know his past and what he did.”
“Very well,” Mr. Ross said, “Use the Information Archives, which is in this city. The password to enter it is ‘L-I-G-H-T’.
“Light?”
“It is that so that we can always remember the great Dr. Light, and all the things he has done to try and keep the world at peace.”
“Thank you, sir.” Nova said, saluted Mr. Ross, and then was on his way to the Information Archives.
Nova then entered the Information Archives, and searched for “Dr. Dander”.
“Hmm…not that much here…” Nova said to himself, while he continued to search, “Let’s see…Ah! Here is the file!”

Biography: Dr. Dander was born in North City, and his parents were Michelle Dander and Roger Dander, both were scientists working for the Neo Empire. Like Victor Dander, they too specialized in making Combat Reploids. A Reploid killed his mother and father that was part of a Revolution against the state near the end of 19XXX. The Neo Empire then cared for Victor Dander. At age 49 he began to work for the Neo Empire. After failing in his attempt at taking over the Neo Empire with a very violent revolt, in which there was 100 casualties, He was fired and sentenced for life in jail. However, he broke out of jail, and his location now is unknown. However, the Neo Empire Recon Team found out all six of his latest “Elite Models.”

“So, Heavy Crusher and Rocket Destroyer are the other Elite Models…” Nova said to himself, “Hmm…now I have evidence to show to Noble Knight to show him that Dr. Dander is evil! Maybe I can save him from evil…”
Chapter Twelve: Noble Knight’s Fate
The next night, Mega Man Nova went to the West City Subway Station in hope we would meet Noble Knight there again. He also brought a printed out copy of Dr. Dander’s file to show Noble Knight.
“He should be here at midnight,” Nova said to himself, “That’s when he always comes here.” And so, Nova waited until midnight, and then Noble Knight teleported in.
“Hello, Mega Man Nova,” Noble Knight said, “Have you finally come to the realization of who the real evil is?”
“Yes, I have, Noble Knight, and the real evil is Dr. Victor Dander!” Nova said,
“Really? Such a shame…because now you have to die!” Noble Knight said, and then dashed toward Nova.
“I don’t think so!” Nova said, and then fired his Nova Buster at Noble Knight.
“Fool.” Noble Knight then put up his shield, and the Buster Shot bounced off the shield, and back at Nova, “My Knight Shield will bounce your attack right back at you!”
“I don’t want to destroy you!” Nova said, “I want to open your eyes!”
“What do you mean? Is this a dirty trick?”
“No, it’s not.” Nova then handed Noble Knight the file on Dr. Dander
“No…this can’t be right!” Noble Knight said after reading the file, “Dr. Dander never told me that he had a violent revolt against the Neo Empire, nor that he killed anyone offensively! I thought that the only one in the Black Regime that ever killed was Rapid Assassin! No…all that I fought for was for some evil man?”
“You can repent, Noble Knight. When I looked at you, I knew you were different from the other Elite Models. Help me destroy the other Elite Models, and then defeat Dr. Dander and his Black Regime!”
“You’re right…” Noble Knight said, “The only thing I can do now is to repent for actions. I will destroy the other Elite Models!” Just then, another Reploid teleported in.
“It’s sad to see that you defected from us.” The Reploid said. He had a larger than average buster, was red in color, and was taller than an ordinary Reploid. “I am Fire Incinerator, one of Dr. Dander’s Elite Models. And I’m here to destroy Noble Knight for betraying Dr. Dander.”
“You’ll have to go through me first!” Nova said, pointing his buster at Fire Incinerator.
“No, Nova.” Noble Knight said, “This is my fight. I need to repent for my sins.”
“Hmm…Dr. Dander made me the one to watch over you, Noble Knight, because he was the only one that he needed to lie too in order for you to work for him.” Fire Incinerator said, “And my attack will kill you in one blow!”
“Bring in on, you scum.” Noble Knight said, and then put his shield up, “You know my Knight Shield can defect you attack!”
“No, it can’t. Lava Burner!” Fire Incinerator then fired a huge ball of lava at Noble Knight. The lava burned right through the Knight Shield, and right through Noble Knight.
“No…I can’t die now…” Noble Knight said while he fell to the ground.
“No! Noble Knight!” Nova said, and then turned toward Fire Incinerator, “You will pay for that…”
“I’m afraid it will have to wait.” Fire Incinerator said, “I’ve completed my mission, and must return to base. We will fight later, Mega Man Nova.” He then teleported away.
“Nova…” The dying Noble Knight said, “Finish me…If you do, you gain my ‘Knight Shield’, and then a part of my soul will be with you, so that I can repent for my sins…Do it now…or else my soul will be lost forever…”
“All right then…” Nova said, and then charged up his Nova Buster and fired it at Noble Knight.
“May you overcome the darkness…” Noble Knight said while being consumed by the blast. Afterwards, the remains of Noble Knight blew up.
“Noble Knight…destroyed. Gained ‘Knight Shield’.” Nova said, “No…NOBLE KNIGHT!!!” Nova yelled out his name, and then raised his fist in the air and wept…
Chapter Thirteen: Seeking Revenge
After the night of Noble Knight’s death, Mega Man Nova went back to Central City and appeared before the Neo Empire Council.
“Yes, Nova?” Mr. Ross asked Nova, “Why have you asked to see us?”
“Noble Knight betrayed Dr. Dander to join us,” Nova said, “But Fire Incinerator killed him right after that. Noble Knight needs to be revenged!”
“Yes, we were aware of what happened to Noble Knight,” Mr. Ross said, “But we think that it’s fool less to go out blindly looking for revenge! If you do go out and look for Fire Incinerator for vengeance, you may open up a weak point for him to attack! You must calm down!”
“I can’t clam down!” Nova said, “The anger within me is overwhelming! I could have saved Noble Knight! I now feel like I have to avenge Noble Knight…after all, I could have faced Fire Incinerator myself, and could have stopped Noble Knight from fighting him…”
“Don’t talk like that!” Mr. Ross said, “You did all you could. It was Noble Knight’s decision to fight him alone.”
“Nevertheless...I will find Fire Incinerator and bring an end to him…with the Neo Empire’s help or not!” Nova then stormed out of the building.
“Nova, wait!” Mr. Ross cried out for Nova as he left.
Mega Man Nova then went to the most likely places that gang activities would happen.
“Hmm…I’ll see if any of these punks know anything about Dr. Dander or where Fire Incinerator is.” Nova thought to himself, and then he encountered a robot and his goons mugging a woman who looked like she was in her teens. She had long blond hair.
“Help Me!” The woman cried out, hoping that someone would hear her.
“Shut up!” One of the goons said, “No one can save you now!” And then all of a sudden, a buster shot consumed him.
“I disagree.” Nova said, still having his buster pointing at the remains of the now destroyed goon, “I am Mega Man Nova, and I feel angry. I guess I’ll take it out on you.”
“Mega Man Nova?” One of the stronger Reploids in the bunch said, “I know you. You’re the government’s attack hound.”
“No,” Nova said, “I only follow their orders because that will help keep the peace. Who might you be?”
“I’m the gang leader of the gang in Central City, and an associate of Dr. Victor Dander. I’m Cold Freezer, and my weapon is the Freeze Cracker, the same weapon used by Freeze Man back in 20XX!”
“Hmm…I now have two reasons to destroy you.” Nova said, “Getting your power will have me defeat Fire Incinerator, and to save that woman.”
“My, my, you seem confidence.” Cold Freezer said, “I guess you’ll learn my power the hard way!”
“You stupid punk,” Nova said, “I can take out trash like you in a heartbeat.”
“We’ll just see about that!” Cold Freezer said, “Freeze Cracker!” He then shot out a sharp snowflake from his buster.
“Is that it?” Nova said, and then transformed his hand into the Nova Saber, and sliced the snowflake in two. “It’s time for you to die.”
“No!” Cold Freezer said, “Impossible!” That was the last word Cold Freezer said before he was slashed in two by Nova. The two halves of Cold Freezer then blew up.
“Cold Freezer destroyed…gained ‘Freeze Cracker’.” Nova said. He then turned to the woman, “Are you all right?”
“Yes, I’m fine now, thank you,” The woman said, “I am Millie Strokes, a spy for the Neo Empire.”
“Well, good thing I came, Mrs. Strokes,” Nova said, “Why were those punks attacking you?”
“Well, they work for Dr. Dander, and I found out where his factory is, however, the factory is not his base. I believe Fire Incinerator is the commander there…”
“Fire Incinerator?” Nova asked, “You must tell me where this factory is!”
“Sure thing,” Millie said, “The Factory is in North City.”
“Thank you.” Nova said to Millie, “When you return to HQ, tell Mr. Ross I’m going to North City.”
Chapter Fourteen: Fire Incinerator, and the Hot Battle for Vengeance
After saving the spy, Millie Strokes, from one of Dr. Dander’s associates, Cold Freezer, Mega Man Nova learned that Fire Incinerator is at a factory in North City. North City was huge during the wars for being the home of most production factories. Many of the factories were destroyed in the wars of the past, but still some factories are well enough to under go production once again. The City was abandoned after the wars, because of the destruction, and the pollution that the factories made. Dr. Dander figured that it would be the perfect location for a secret factory.
“Hmm…seems like this City seen better days.” Nova said to himself, looking at the destruction that the City has done through, “It’s hard to think that there’s a working factory in this mess.” Nova then continued through the city to look for the factory that Fire Incinerator was in. Finally he came across a factory that was working. “This must be it.”
“Stop!” One of the Security Reploids saw Nova. It looked liked a mass produced Reploid, with only light armor, and a regular buster. Nova quickly silenced the guard with his Nova Saber.
“I can’t use my Nova Buster,” Nova thought to himself, “The light, and the explosion the Nova Buster makes will give me away.” Nova then continued through the factory stealthy, taking care of any guards that spotted him. He finally made his way into the Control Center.
“Where is the intruder?” One person in the control room asked somebody through a computer. That person was Fire Incinerator.
“We don’t know, sir!” One of the guards replied, “All who spotted him were quickly killed!”
“Well, he must be stopped!” Fire Incinerator said, “We cannot afford for this factory to fall!”
“I’m right here, coward.” Nova said out loud, “Your puny guards can’t save you from the fate you deserve! Noble Knight will be avenged!”
Fire Incinerator then turned around to face Nova, “So, you found this factory. Good job, I’m impressed, but you will soon suffer the same fate Noble Knight suffered! All who oppose the Black Regime will be destroyed!”
“Enough talk, I’m not here to chit-chat…I came to kill your evil hide.” Nova then dashed at Fire Incinerator with his Nova Saber pointed at Fire Incinerator’s head.
“You fool.” Fire Incinerator then dodged the attack, “You can’t beat me!” He then counterattacked with his fist, and knocked Nova back.
“Ouch!” Nova said, while being slammed into the wall, and then quickly got back on his feet, “All right, time to take out all the stops! Freeze Cracker!” A Snowflake then shot out of Nova’s Buster, and headed toward Fire Incinerator.
“Is that supposed to hurt me?” Fire Incinerator said, “Lava Burner!” He then shot out a fireball, and the two attacks met each other and canceled each other out. “True, the Freeze Cracker would have hurt me, but thanks to my Lava Burner, it can’t even touch me!”
“I have a solution to that.” Nova said. “Clone Copy!” Then 9 other Novas circled around Fire Incinerator.
“Shoot!” Fire Incinerator said, “This is Clone Attacker’s ability!”
“Freeze Cracker!” The Nova clones said, and each one of them shot out a snowflake, making it impossible for Fire Incinerator to dodge. The snowflakes hit Fire Incinerator, causing massive damage.
“No!” Fire Incinerator said, “I’m an Elite Model! I can’t lose to Nova!” Then he fell to his knees. The Nova clones disappeared, and the real Nova was right in front of Fire Incinerator, charging up the Nova Buster. “Please, have mercy! I submit!”
“No, scums like you don’t deserve a second chance…” Nova said, and then a tear fell from his eye, “You scum deserve death!” Nova then fired a huge Blast, and it consumed Fire Incinerator, and destroyed him. “Fire Incinerator…destroyed. Gained ‘Lava Burner’.” He then looked down on the remains of Fire Incinerator, “Noble Knight…you are avenged…but my job is not done. My job will only be completed once all the Elite Models…and Dr. Dander are dead.”
Chapter Fifteen: The Attack on East City
After the fight with Fire Incinerator, Mega Man Nova went back to Central City to see if there were any new missions.
“Good to see that you’re all right.” Mr. Ross said, when he saw Mega Man Nova, “It was foolish going out like that. Mrs. Strokes told us that you went to North City, and we were afraid that Fire Incinerator would destroy you.”
“You don’t have to worry about me,” Nova said to Mr. Ross, “I’ll be fine. Anyway, are there any more Elite Model Sightings?”
“Yes, there is…I’m afraid you won’t like this…Heavy Crusher and his army are attacking East City.”
“What?” Nova was shocked, “That’s where Mr. Montag is! Do we know if Dr. Montag is all right?”
“No, we don’t. And what’s worse, we lost contact with Dr. Montag all together. He might be dead for all we know.”
“No…they can’t…” Nova thought to himself, “They just can’t kill him…If they did….I don’t know what I will do…”
After finding out about Heavy Crusher’s assault on East City, Mega Man Nova hurried over to East City in order to save the city...and his creator, Dr. Montag. When he finally reached the city, the city was more in ruins then when Nova first left. The same type of mass-produced Reploids Nova encountered at the Factory were attacking the city…they must be soldiers of Dr. Dander’s army.
“I bet Heavy Crusher is at Dr. Montag’s lab…looking for Novaium…” Nova thought to himself, and then proceeded in the direction of Dr. Montag’s lab.
“Wait!” One of the soldiers spotted Nova, “Stop there! All right, men, open fire!” The soldiers then pointed their busters at Nova, and fired them.
“Hmm…stupid punks.” Nova thought to himself, and then transformed his arm into the Nova Saber, and used the Nova Saber to deflect the buster shots, and rip through the soldiers that were in his way.
“Report to General Heavy Crusher! Tell him that the front line has fallen!” One the soldiers said to another one that was behind him, right before he was slashed by the Nova Saber.
“All who follow Dr. Dander deserve death!” Nova said, while he was slashing the soldiers.
“Is this guy a demon?” One of the soldiers said seeing Nova massacre the other soldiers. Soon, every soldier was dead. Nova stood in the center of the battlefield, looking at the remains of all those he slaughtered.
“No…” Nova’s mind was just then brought back into reality, “Did I do this destruction? This is insane…I must have gone nuts while I was fighting…I must get a grip on myself…Ever since Noble Knight’s death…I had an uncontrollable urge to massacre all those who follow Dr. Dander…but now that I looked back at what I have done…am I any better than Dr. Dander? I must make sure I never go berserk like this ever again…but now I must get to Dr. Montag’s lab and make sure he is all right…” Nova thought, and then dashed toward Dr. Montag’s lab…
Chapter Sixteen: Heavy Crusher, and the Battle in the Lab
Mega Man Nova raced from the battlefield toward Dr. Montag’s lab, hoping that he wasn’t too late to save Dr. Montag from the Elite Model that led the attack, Heavy Crusher.
“Dr. Montag?” Mega Man Nova said as he broke into the lab, “Are you alright?”
“Hmm…who’s this?” A voice from the darkness asked, “Why do you want Dr. Dander?”
“I am Mega Man Nova, and Dr. Montag is my creator. If you harmed Dr. Montag, I will personally rip you apart, bolt by bolt.”
“No, Dr. Montag is not harmed.” The voice said, “…not yet, anyhow. He compiled with our demands, so we had no reason to harm him.”
“Why did you want?”
“We wanted some Novaium, and the blueprints for ‘Project Nova’.”
“What? That’s me! Why do you want my blueprints?”
“I really don’t know, Dr. Dander’s ideas are his own, and he didn’t even tell us Elite Models. I’m just the delivery boy. I am Heavy Crusher.” A massive Reploid then stepped out of the shadows, wielding two huge mallets for arms. “You have interfered with Dr. Dander’s plans for too long. Even if you destroy me, I already teleported the blueprints and the Novaium to Dr. Dander, so my mission is complete. However, I’m sure that destroying you will make the good doctor even happier. Prepare to die, Mega Man Nova!” Heavy Crusher then swung one of his mallets at Nova, hoping to smack him with it. Nova quickly jumped out of the way, and dodged the huge mallet.
“Your attack might be powerful,” Nova said, “But It’s too slow to hit me!”
“Well then, I’ll wear you out!” Heavy Crusher said and then continued to swing his mallets around hoping that one swing would contact with Nova, but Nova dodged each swing, but he was getting tired.
“You’ll never hit me!”
“Just you wait! In a little bit more, you’ll be too tired to even walk!”
“He’s right…” Nova thought to himself, “But I have a solution.”
“Just stand still, and accept defeat!”
“Never…” Nova said, “Clone Copy!” Then a bunch of Mega Man Clones appeared around Heavy Crusher.
“What? No! I can’t tell who the real one is!” Heavy Crusher then swung his mallets, but every time he only hit a clone and the clones were quickly replaced with new clones.
“Time to end this!” Nova said, and then him, and the rest of the clones transformed their arms into the Nova Saber, and leapt at Heavy Crusher, all of the clones made a direct hit.
“No!” Heavy Crusher said, “How could I lose to a pipsqueak like Nova?” He then blew up.
“Heavy Crusher…destroyed. Gained ‘Giant Mallet’.” Nova said, “Now to see if Dr. Montag is all right.” Nova then went through the lab and found Dr. Montag.
“Nova? Is that you?” Dr. Montag said, when he saw Nova.
“Yes, it’s me.” Nova said, “Are you all right?”
“I will be now. I guess you took care of Heavy Crusher.”
“Yes, I did.”
“Good…but Dr. Dander still has your blueprints and some Novaium…no one can guess what he can do with those. You better report back to…” Dr. Montag was then interpreted by something on a monitor near Nova and Dr. Montag.
“Nova! This is Mr. Ross!” The monitor cried out, “Central City is under attack! We need you!”
“I guess that’s my cue. Good bye, Dr. Montag.” Nova said, and then raced toward Central City.
“Good luck, Nova,” Dr. Montag said to himself, “Fight…fight for everlasting peace…”
Chapter Seventeen: Surprise Attack on Central City
After saving Dr. Montag and East City from Heavy Crusher and his army, Mega Man Nova got an urgent S.O.S. from Central City. It seemed that the attack on East City was just a distraction so that Dr. Dander’s troops could do a full-scale assault on Central City without having Mega Man Nova to stop them. The leader of these troops must be the only remaining Elite Model left, Rocket Destroyer, which Nova briefly found out about when he looked up Dr. Dander’s past records. Mega Man Nova raced toward Central City…but it would take a long time to get there…
When Nova finally reached Central City it was apparent that conflict accorded there. Buildings were destroyed, many just damaged.
“My…” Nova thought to himself, “These troops wasted no time destroying the city…I better take care of them before more of the City is destroyed!” Nova then dashed toward the Government Capitol…there he saw what looked like a thousand Reploids; all were soldiers of Dr. Dander’s army.
“Hey! Everybody!” One of the soldiers yelled out, “Look out, it’s Mega Man Nova!” All of the soldiers then turned around and started to fire their busters at Nova.
“Punks…when will they learn?” Nova said, while dodging the shots, “Clone Copy!” Mega Man Nova then made clones of himself, and then all used the Nova Saber and went in different directions, taking down all of the soldiers in the way. After awhile, the clones stopped using the Nova Saber, and then started to use the Rapid Buster to mow out all of the soldiers.
“He has the powers of the Elite Models!” one of the soldiers said, “There is no chance in hell that we can defeat him!”
“We can’t give up!” another soldier said, “We must continue to fight! For the glory of the Black Regime! Send out the tank!” Then a tank began to drive toward Nova.
“Time to get serious.” Nova said, and then all of the clones disappeared and the same Nova was facing down the tank. “I don’t know why I fight…or what my reason is…but I do
