RE: Cheating in Video Games
I personally condone cheating, but only if the player has beaten the game and has gotten roughly 90% of the items that He/She can get. But that would be about it considering, if your playing through for the first time, cheating will only make you feel as though your missing out on something. -
RE: Cheating in Video Games
Cheating is always bad. The only time I accept it, and even do it myself, is when the programmers program something into the game, but don't make it accessible without cheating *COUGH*MEW*COUGH*
Anyone using any other means of cheating deserves to have a red-hot spike rammed through their torso.
OK, maybe a spike through the torso is a little much, but I think you get the idea.

cheating is def. okay if you are playing by yourself. ex. doom is so much more fun w/ IDKFA and IDBEHOLD but cheating online is not.Comment

First cheats I ever learned. I don't mind cheaters on single player games. I don't get annoyed at people for cheating their first time through a game. I don't cheat when I first get a game, but I'll cheat after beating it and not feel guilty at all.

for cheating, i have no problem for console games that you've beated already WITHOUT ANY CHEATING FOR THE PRIOR TRY. for online games, cheating is horrible and cheaters should be ip banned or something....err....yes.

There is actually a sure-fire way to get Mew without cheating. It was discovered 2 years ago.Originally posted by AfrobeanCheating is always bad. RE: Re: RE: Cheating in Video Games
I consider taking advantage of glitches cheating too. Like in FFR, I hate people who hack and I hate people who use the invisible arrows equally. I see it the same way.
PS In case you didn't figure out, the way to get mew is a glitch.

RE: Re: RE: Re: RE: Cheating in Video Games
Cheating is fine under certain conditions
- You can't say that you beat the game (unless you did without cheating)
- Never on multiplayer games
- You officailly are the worst at the game until you stop cheating
- You are having more fun (ex: in GTA)

Didn't we discuss this a few months ago?
Cheating is fine in one-player games if you've beaten it already and want to add in some fun for the next time through.
Cheating is fine if the game is retardedly impossible.
Cheating is not fine in any MMORPG.

I cheat after I beat the game without cheats. I feel that is acceptable.
I also take SERIOUS advantage of all the glitches in Gothic, but again, I have beaten the game before, without cheats.
Signature subject to change.
