    MYST: IV Revelation

    I was just wondering if anyone likes that game, cause its not very popular and i dont know much people that play them but i really like myst games.
    and if you have played it before what rating would you give it 1-10.

      I know that this thread is old, but I would have started a new one if I didn't just add to this.

      I just finished the game. It has excellent visuals all throughout the game, and has one of those strange plots like myst games have. I dunno, I might give it around an 8 of 10. The puzzles can be downright puzzling sometimes, sometimes they are easy or weird. The main asset of the game is probably the size and originality of the levels. I enjoyed it, it took a good many hours to complete. Plus, if you get stuck, the game has a built-in hint system in the options menu, which you can check at any of three help levels, where level three gives the answer to the puzzle most of the time.

      If you don't have a good computer or gfx card, maybe myst iv aint for you. It crashed occasionally on my mac running at lowest graphics, but on my pc it runs smoothly and looks awesome at highest settings. Three cheers for my GeForce MX 5600... or whatever it is. If you've got a nice one, it'll give the game a really immersive effect.

      The verdict: 8 out of 10 points: A good buy, if you like the Myst series or other adventure/puzzle games. Have fun.

          i bought it...but i need to buy a dvd drive and new video card
          and by lowest quality or whatever you said what did you actually run it in

              I played the game through in about 3 days... it's harder than exile but far easier than Riven. Graphics and sound are amazing of course, and puzzles are generally pretty good.

              The game didn't have quite as much depth as I'd have liked... 9/10
