Yea and I bet you'll spend another $50 on every GTA game to come out in subsequent years for these updated cars and maps. They're making one for every major city now.

GTA: San Andreas. There's going to be more than "updated cars and maps" and you know it. There's absolutely nothing wrong with the game, it's a well made game. For being open the way it is, it's so nice and bug free. It's not like this guy is excited about something like Pong 3: Now with color.

You guys do this with games and systems. It makes no fucking sense what-so-ever. It's you guys that kept me from getting a Gamecube. OMG GAMECUBE IS BETTER CUZ LIEK THE GAMES ARE DIFFENT K! .. OMG XBOX SUKS CUZ LIEK, ALL THE GOOD GAMES AREN'T FOR THE SYSTEM.. No, you can't be like, I like Gamecube because it just has more of the games I like..

All my posts for gamecube always had me say that I liked Gamecube because it had more games that I liked. Did you not see them?

They had something along the lines of my liking Gamecube for its amount of exclusive awesome games as compared to the amount of exclusive awesome games of other systems.

I really don't care how you waste your money. Don't come complaining to me when you've blown 500 dollars on 10 GTA games.

PS - Playstation 2 is second place because they have Kingdom Hearts (and KHII soon), Star Ocean, Katamari, and a few other amazing exclusive titles that won't come out for Gamecube.

Uhm, ok.. Why would I buy a game I wouldn't want? You know I'm better than that. I'm not interested in GTA because, OMG GTA. I'm interested in it because it's fun. Why bother with all the Zeldas? It's all the same, swing your sword and kill bad guys. Could it be because they like it?

Am I the only person in the world to think that rockstar games could make the most awesomke game ever if they took the free form formula of the GTA series and took out the blood, gore, and unnecessary profanity to make more of an adventure game or an RPG of sorts. Maybe partner with the people who made Fable? how about square? I think that GTA sucks only because they took the violence and other stuff way to far. I give Rockstar credit for releasing a game on the PS2 thats different from every other game. Its pretty much all RPG's on the PS2 and most have identical ways to play, it's just what comes out of the characters mouths that's different and even then...well the creativity bin is starting to run dry.



And the person who made this thread talks like a fanboy, and probably is one. Yes I am a nintendo fanboy myself but I know when games are good on other systems as well.

Dude San Andreas is going to have so much more shit. Its going to kick ass. I can't wait to see the cool ragdoll physics (where when you run someone over it looks completely realistic with limbs flying everywhere). You'll be able to swim and kinds of crazy shit. It comes out tomorrow = Life Completion.

I totally hated San Andreas.


But then I saw the trailer on TV, and like magic, I suddenly forgot why I wasn't going to get it. Suddenly, it seemed like the best game ever. I think it was the music.

Whether the game sucks or not, Rockstar has fantastic taste in music.

People act like all the GTAs were the exact same game. That's total BS. An example of a game that is the exact same every time would be DDR. Maybe a new mode that is only a little bit different, some new songs, and slightly improved graphics, but that's all. People still go out and buy all the DDR games and I don't see you guys complaining!

From what I've heard, GTA: SA will be a ton better. I probably won't believe how different it can be until I get it, just like I didn't think The Sims 2 could be any different from the original (granted, Sims games are nowhere near as fun as GTA, but the fact that a sequel of a very similar idea can be improved so much is cool about both). I'll definitly read some reviews first, but chances are I'm buying it.
