Mega Man X6 isn't a very good game, IMO. The level design on several of the stages is absolutely horrid. A couple of the stages are way too short (Infinity Mijinion, Shield Sheldon) and require hardly any effort to get through. On the flipside, some of the stages are so damn hard it gets irritating (at least without the shadow armor, which seems to make many parts of the game riduculosly easy instead of ridiculously hard). Metal Shark Player immediately comes to mind... almost impossible on the highest diffuculty level without the shadow armor. Then theres the whole "Nightmare System", which is actually a pretty good description of what it is. I honestly don't see how being able to see only whats right in front of me and have the rest of the screen dark, or having a "ghost" of X or Zero constantly attacking me (to name a couple of the most annoying effects) makes the game more fun.

Oh well, just my $0.02. Maybe some people think this game is fun, but I'm not one of them. Personally I think X4 is a much better game.

But for gaming, it is stricltly a gaming machine, no DVD's, no nothing.... But whatever.... Different people have different tastes.....

That makes the Gamecube an even more valuable package. Do you want a machine that is so hellbent on doubling as a DVD/CD player or a machine that is dedicated to gaming? The XB and PS2 were higher priced at launch because of this. I don't need another damn DVD player. Plus, while the GC doesn't have a large library like PS2, it has waaay more hit games. Personally, I think XB is way overrated, and cannot compete with GC or PS2.
