I've become an unironic Incineroar main

People I play with act surprised I'm not a toxic ass who plays for the taunts or a furry, I just really like his moveset (and being a tier hipster I guess lol).
He feels very "classic fighting game" in a way, especially since I find I'm using lariat against jump-ins in the same way you'd use a DP in a 2d fighter. And I really like having a command grab


EDIT- if I was better at the game mechanically I'd probably main Palutena, I'm just not good enough at spacing her aerials to play against my friends who have put a lot more time into learning movement than I have
Whereas with a heavy like Incineroar I can just mindgame and go for hard reads and try to kill them at 50%

exploiting the fact that netcode when playing online is terrible and laggy to abuse "missed techs" doesnt seem like a very good thing to me but to each their own

who said anything about online? Thought we were talking about heavies being a problem?

Speaking of though, if anything were actively detrimental to the game/scene, it's the online being bad rofl, not the people trying to play on it.

edit: the only heavy atm that's even remotely "problematic" too is Bowser iirc, and he's just good, not necessarily a problem imo. I think S4/Ult smash players are used to Heavies being garbage so when they can actually do stuff they don't like it lol
