I still haven't touched the mode...

It's, at a brisk pace, about 12-14 hours long.

If you go and do everything, will take upwards of 20+ hours.

It's definitely at least twice, maybe 3 times the size of subspace emissary.

Aaaaand, now there's an update.

Apparently they finally made it so preferred rules dominate all else for the online mode. As it should've been at launch.

@gs there's a check mark that appears on the top right of the card that denotes that, unless that's intended to represent something else but afaik it's only shown up on my duplicates

I haven't dismissed any spirits or done any summons yet so I'm not sure if the check mark still appears if it's a spirit you had possession of at one point but have no longer (I'm assuming it does though)

From the looks of it on the spirit board, the check mark is for characters you have in your current active inventory, or on-hand, not part of the collection.

I played for like an hour with my brother doing random matches and I liked Pichu, sheik, zero suit Samus, peach, Isabelle, and young link. Kirby is still the only one I can play well because I've played with him for 20+ hours

Been trying to complete a ton of the classic mode for a lot of characters and Sheik is really sticking out for me.

I play on the weekends sometimes and it’s fun. It’s cool you can kind of wavedash when you use Z.

Only played a few characters so far, but I feel like they balanced a lot of little things and now it’s easier to get nasty combos.

getting the last spirits is going to be more grind cuz i ran out of sp and need to summon. so i need to grind ng+ adventure. once i did 200 quickplay matches i knew there was no turning back opieop

I've already played it a bit, I don't have my own copy yet, but I know I'm definitely maining pichu, and not just for the lols. He's really good if you know how to play him right. Other characters I found I'm good at is Corrin and surprisingly Wii Fit Trainer, although I have no idea why I'm good with her.
