    Am I allowed to...?

    Am I allowed to hold contests in video games not related to FFR or other music games if I pay for the prizes myself?

    For example, could I put up a PSN card for grabs if someone beats me in, say, Street Fighter or Mortal Kombat? I've definitely got the means. I just want to make sure it won't get me in trouble or violate some sort of ToS.

      I think it's been done before, and there's nothing in the rules that explicitly say not to (at least not from what I could find out of a quick skim.)

                      I didn't know the meaning of that one for a while heheh.

                      I was wrong about smh and ffs for a while. For the longest time I thought they meant "So much hate" and "freaking fucking shit", which are simultaneously and obviously incorrect and dumb when put in context.

                                  Contests for other games are fine, it's been done in the past. However you could be banned if you promise prizes then don't follow through with giving them out. So just be sure you have the prizes readily available and all should be fine.
