Hey Red do you play GGXrd? Heard BananaKen got bodied 6/0 (from winner bracket to fraud tier 2nd place) against a faust.

That's the newest one? Nope haven't played it yet.
Been thinking about getting it on ps4 but meh..have been in a console gaming slump recently.

Zato has one too with drills doesn't he? I got mines when the JP release first came out since I wasn't about waiting for the port release. I mainly use ramlethal so enjoy blocking low/high's like a standard fighting game and not worrying about anime unblockables lol.

How good is the community there? I don't use NeoGaf/Reddit/etc so I wouldn't know.

I know what MLG and EVO are. I played Halo competitively back in the day.

I might be going to EVO this year as well for Melee. Won't make it out of pools but the overall experience should be nice. Plus it's right after my 21st birthday.

Man I just found an upload Of some TTT2 match where I was trying to grab the opponent in the air lol how embarrassing. Like wtf was I thinking lmao, I wonder if it was like errored button presses but it came out twice. here's the match Can't win em all. Just found that randomly by typing my alias into google lol.

I was going to go to apex If I was driving since it's so close but I didn't have the money at time of registration plus I found out about it kinda late. So I'll have to watch it on stream. Justin Wong is supposed to be there tho.

I think I'm gonna repurchase Melee and play it on my Wii then play at EVO. I'm so out of practice in melee I completely forget to l-cancel. Atleast I still remember how to wavedash. I also gotta re work on my short hop timing.

I do tournaments every now and then, but stick to my home state. I don't travel though I'd love to go to EVO one day.

Melee's skill curve is ridiculous now so don't be discouraged when you get bopped.

Yea the Melee mindset and mind games are now probably on a whole different level by people who never stopped playing Melee. I stopped playing Melee once brawl came out, some people just stuck with Melee. I've played alittle at my college and damn son the competitions fierce especially with me being all rusty on l-cancels and short hops. But it's good to know the scene is still alive Apex Melee has like 1000+ entrants brawl only had I think around 400? And now brawls nowhere to be found on the EVO lineup.

Melee is bigger now than it's ever been, and still growing. It's surprising that Brawl even got that many entrants since the scene has been dying. We'll see if EVO can surpass Apex's Melee and Smash 4 numbers.
