I have Lib, Siya, and Dora, since I mostly have to idle anyway because I don't have my own comp to use right now. That's probably partially why it's so slow. I don't have Vaagur yet though @_@

Yeah, Vaagur is essentially the key to getting to higher levels. It's honestly not even that hard to upgrade either. I'd say it probably takes 4-6 ascensions which isn't that long when you put it into perspective. I have him at level 14 right now and I need him at 15 so I need to ascend one more time. Then it's all about abusing The Dark Ritual after that, lol.

Edit: Re-rolling's probably the most annoying part of getting Vaagur, I had to ascend a good five or six times just to even see Vaagur.

Well, he's guaranteed on the first set of ancients and then after that, it's basically good luck finding him again. I was dumb and rerolled my first set and got siya and lib immediately (that was pure luck) and then got dora shortly after that.

At this point I'm basically waiting to find Vaagur again, but that's gonna require some rerolls I don't feel like putting hs into yet lmao

Sounds like things will be speeding up for you soon. The game really picks up pace when you can idle to level 100 for quick ascensions, and the HS will pile up.

I can idle to about 65 right now before I have to start actually farming for gold, so yeah, I'm hoping it picks up pretty soon

The hell do you do once you can farm to 140-145 really really quickly?

Have Libertas and Siyalatas to level 7 with 72 souls. At this point I'm to 140 in an hour or less, depending on how much attention I pay to the game.

I can't push further quickly though. I let it push through the day and overnight yesterday and got up to 185 or so before just a complete brick wall.

I know you can level low level heroes, I pushed Ivan to 1050 or so and that helped but even then the gold costs just become so ridiculous it takes forever to gain 1 level let alone 25.

do leveling in packs of 25 after getting all of someone's hero skills.

get vaguur libertas & siyalatas levels.

juggernaut also helps for autoclickers.

I got myself into this about a week or so ago. Can't stop. I wish I played this a month ago so I could have 100k hero souls like everyone else.

Does energizing The Dark Ritual have any noticeable benefit during the early game grind? Or even at all?
Edit: Wiki answered that.

Is it best to farm on bosses or on monsters? If monsters, is it more efficient to be able to kill them instantly, in one second, or in about two seconds?

I feel like Vaagur is an awful first ancient to level.

Leveling up Siyalatas and Libertas seems way more efficient.

Loving Dora and Mimzee combo too right now. They launched me up in levels dramatically.

I might level Vaagur afterwards, but having a fast EDR is kinda worthless when you can multiply your damage and gold find exponentially in other ways. I can get to 150 in like 5 minutes now if I'm active, who cares if I can +10% when I'm going to be ascending in a few dozen levels anyway. If you stack all of your levels on a single low level guy anyway, your DPS eventually quadruples every 25 levels which again relegates Vaagur to being virtually useless.

Seems much, much more effective when you plan to run the game for days to get as deep as possible.

The thing about Vaagur is that he's not that hard to level up at all. A good four or five ascensions will get him fully upgraded.

I finally managed to get Libertas on one of my re-rolls. Now I just need 24 hero souls, so about two ascensions and I'll be ready to get a decent end game in for once.

Atman
Siyalatas
Solomon
Vaagur

After Libertas, I'm not quite sure who to get.

Well, you do have to remember the fact that you bought him increases subsequent purchases and rerolls, costing you significantly more souls than had you not bought him.

I'd say it's worth it if you're really active. I like to idle so personally I'm going to put him off as long as possible.

I'm around a similar stage I guess and heard Dora/Mimzee are quite good. I bought both and am damn happy with the purchases. I reached much higher levels immediately and haven't even leveled them up much.

No, It's better mid to late game when you're trying to get an extra 100 levels or so before you ascend by using skills past where you can idle through. It's crucial for deep runs, but is almost useless early game.
