I think I wasted souls on Siyalatas, I made him level 3, and after level 2 the DPS he provides actually drops because of the loss of souls. What's the use of him if he has no benefit in DPS after level 2?

I just started playing this literally an hour ago and I enjoy this game. I don't quite understand how everything works (like hero souls) but I'm about to do level 30 and I'm sitting around 80k per click and a few million dps.

Also, I quit out of my browser for a moment, came back on and made a shit ton of gold for just one minute, like it's taking me more time to click than it is to idle haha.

Hero souls don't come into play until you get over level 100.

hs boost and siyalata boost multiply
so if hs=1000%, siyalata=200% became hs=980%, siyalata=210%, your total dps boost increased from 2000% to 2058%

After a certain point it gets really fast but you have to be active to really be productive, I can get like 5k+ HS if I play actively in 20~30 minutes or at least leave a macro to increase masked samurai level, but there isn't much point doing that on an idle game.

All my ancients are listed in my spreadsheet now Clicker Heroes Optimization Spreadsheet

Pretty much abandoned it by now, after leaving a few days idle I managed to beat lvl1000 which is more than enough for me.

also i went from farming 200 s/h to 100k s/h in 2 days seems like the end is near

On the third ascension. I'm at level 140 again (where I ascended twice before) and I haven't encountered a single primal boss this ascension. So unlucky

I also don't know how you can really beat bosses from here. I have all of the upgrades to Frostleaf and leveling up only yields like 1% dps increase. Is this where you just continue to ascend for the hero soul dps boost or should I be trying to progress somehow? I don't get any more gilded heros until 150

On the third ascension. I'm at level 140 again (where I ascended twice before) and I haven't encountered a single primal boss this ascension. So unlucky

Starting from lv200 and every 25lvs your heroes gain 4x dps and every 1000lv they gain 10x dps. iirc treebeast at lv1025 and ivan at lv1000 is around the same power as frostleaf lv100 and after that they only get better as frostleaf only starts getting 4x bonuses at lv200.

Also, at this point your main source of HS is from total hero levels (I think it gets around 14~16k at that point) so there isn't much point delaying the ascension too much.

I just went from levels 105 - 150 without seeing a primal.

Edit:// Did they lower the chance for primals or am I just very unlucky? I'm 1/26 in what I thought was a 1/4 odds.
