Thoughts / any good? / how will it match up against my unrealistic expectations of having it evoke those fun memories of Wolf3D/SoD nostalgia?

Re: Wolfenstein: The New Order
No experience with the old games but i watched a playthrough of The New Order, seemed pretty good, and looked a bit challenging, bosses had some clever moments. The maps didnt make it feel like you were playing a rail shooter and it seems to be pretty well received by critics as well.Last edited by .Gazelle.; 06-12-2014, 07:16 PM.

Originally posted by LeKrispyKremeRap music is music. However, It's not in the traditional sense of how we understand music. The vocals are filled with slangs that gangs used since the 70s and a lot of the instrumentations are replaced with "Street Sounds" instead of traditional instruments. Music is defined as any combination of sounds that is pleasing to the ear, so while one person may find it as "noise" another person can find it pleasing to the ear and so call "vibe" with it as how I think the kids would say it these days.Comment

Re: Wolfenstein: The New Order
A few hours into the game now.
So far, it's been fun -- but it evokes the same feelings I had when I played the new Tomb Raider game. In other words, this is "Wolfenstein in Name Only." Almost all the mechanics are new-gen.
About what I expected, but eh.Comment
