I wonder how they are going to handle expansion sets. One day will we be seeing a block/standard/legacy ranked & normal queue? Will there be a competitive banned list? Or are they going to try and juggle everything at once (hah).
My gatekeeper match I had 5 life against a hunter with two taunts up and a knife juggler. I presume he had lethal, played leeroy, and my KJ noped the fuck out of him. "That was a mistake. Well fought I concede"

lol I got down to 19 is there any sort of bonuses to getting high rank? also I heard theres a reset or something coming soon in that case it's prob not worth trying to rank up if it'll get reset in a week anyway.
top yugioh/magic players probably spend several thousands on cards lmao

I've played in yugioh tournaments and known a couple of magic players on my relatives side that partake in tournament and I would know that within maybe 5 years of playing @ yugioh tournaments, I've only really went through maybe $700 at the most, and the majority of that was entry pays for the tournament.
There are a lot of card booths at tournament locations that sell rare cards as cheap as the manufacturers do, There was actually a booth at one of the places I went to that made the cards you wanted right there and then as long as they didn't have a restriction on production amount. There's a card shop in Toronto called Cyber City and tons of people get together there everyday to pretty much just play cards, and show you how to use tournament-ready decks right there, and are fair in pricing.
You probably thought it was quite expensive because you saw the price on the cards individually, and I must admit, some of them can reach as high as $80, but if you buy from tournament booths and card stores in bundles, you can get usually entire decks tournament-made & prepped for around $150-$200. as long as it's the right person.
My relative plays magic the gathering professionally and has only spent $300 on decks, but he gets wrecked most of the time by people who have around $800-$1000 decks, and that's mostly because their decks are made of search cards, 2for1 lands, and a lotus or two. Try looking up the price on lotuses in magic the gathering.
